I live in California and came here on June22,2023 and it was a very nice park that had a beach vibe where you can watch the ocean from the park. In California we have many beautiful 😻 beaches but nothing compares to what you will see. And I also got to see a lot of Hawaii culture here too. So when you here make sure you check out Kapi'olani Regional park take a beautiful stroll on their side walk near the ocean thank me later

Kapiolani Regional Park shares the mystical shoreline with Waikiki Beach. And, it sits at the base of famous, iconic Diamond Head.

Large, beautiful park with reasonably good facilities throughout. Plenty of birds, including the noisy, but beautiful Rose Ringed Parakeets .

Other than loud music here and there , I love walking around the park from time to time. If you walk around the entire park 2-3 laps it will probably help you to achieve 6000+ steps depending on a route. Overall the best place to hang out with families and friends

Beautiful park, lots of space to be to yourself. There is a large homeless population right here, and some construction going on too, but overall it was nice. There is a really neat resturant there where you can get drinks out of a pineapples.

Best public park anywhere! Always something to do here whether just biking around, using the outdoor gym, taking a yoga or tai chi class, playing sports, or watching the Waikiki sunsets.

The home of the Waikiki Art Festivals. I don’t understand why there isn’t a separate entry for this stand alone regular market but adding a new place to Trip Advisor is difficult. The market would have 20 odd stalls of locally made artisan items. It really is a treasure trove of artisan items with every stall holder proudly declaring - “I make these myself.” My wife loves Le’ahi Jewellery but there is so much more. Well worth a visit for unique gifts and a chat with the friendly local store holders. Held every month except July and December.

Great place to walk in the morning, doing a couple laps, getting the heart beat up and briskly walking around the block. Nice path to talk with friends/coworkers and just take a leisurely stroll. Lots of bathrooms along the way. Just make sure to move on the side for joggers along the way. Can be about 1.5 miles in a loop, but make as many loops as you want. Fun to walk and talk...check em out!

Very nice scenic park in the shadow of Diamond Head. Lots of space for various activities. We see people flying kites, practicing baseball, walking dogs, and picnicking. Plenty of shaded areas to find small breaks from the sun. So park, pull up a chair, and enjoy some relax time!

Nice. A big park in Waikiki that has many attractions. The park is easy to get to and quite large! We were here for the Honolulu Marathon and they used the park as the finisher area. Outside of marathon race day the park includes many features like tennis courts picnic areas and more. I think my favorite thing was the convenient access to the aquarium, zoo, beach downtown.

Awesome park with alot of activities going on. The energy and vibe feels so positive. Family and friends are picnicking, people are playing grass volleyball, football, soccer and working out. I do all of these things there as well. My son and I recently went to ride his bike and I run. Then the best thing is Queens surf and Kaimana beach is right across the street. Highly recommended, we live on the west side of the island but we'll drive out there to exercise and enjoy our day.

Maybe our biggest and most beloved open park, it's big enough for any sport lover. It used to be a horse race track back in the day and is now home to tennis, football, soccer, calisthenics, yoga, Tai chi, rugby, cricket and the newest craze, pickle ball! Across the park is the ocean and Public's surf break, In the park there is also the famous Kapiolani bandstand, where I once had my malo (loincloth) get blown off during a public hula performance.

Very large open space park with restrooms available. Homeless persons also present. Parking available near by and very close to beach for walk and view of Dimond head. No playground.

This place is amazing. Kids are free to run around and it’s a big park. People are doing yoga in the morning and it’s also pretty quiet around 7am.

My favorite park in Honolulu, just a short walk from Waikiki Beach, and Barefoot Cafe - hands down my favorite food stop on the beach.

Went to the July 2023 Ukelele Festival here. Plenty of bench seating, give away paper fans in the shape of a ukelele, awesome live music, story telling, food and craft booths- no alcohol; also cute cutouts fir fun photos!

Great park with lots of open space and some awesome views of Diamond Head. Nice place to chill out with lots of shade from trees.

This is a beautiful park. However, it was overcrowded and there were transients camping out all along the park. Once you get down near the water and walk past the crowd, it is quite peaceful. The park is pretty close to downtown so you can make quick trips there throughout the day if you're staying at a hotel downtown. We had a nice picnic here because there is quite a bit of shade under the large trees.

Great family park! Oceanside has the beach, walking trails and stunning views. Mountain side has sports fields, the pavilion. Located at the end of Waikiki with amazing views of Diamond Head and the ocean.

This park is one of my favorite place here in Waikiki. There is plenty of shade if you want to sit and people watch or just enjoy the relaxing view of the beach. If you do like the sun and sand then this park is great for spending the day on the beach, there are public restrooms, showers and a small Cafe to grab a bite and something cold to drink. I like to just walk along the beachfront to get some exercise and enjoy the beautiful views of the city. If you are ever in Waikiki then this park should be on your places to visit list.

I know there was a Market in the park, but I don't remember what the name of it was, I just know that it's once à month. It didn't look as Lively as it could've been but I enjoyed myself. The Hotdog stand was funny to me, I'm not paying $8 bucks for a Hotdog. There were some interesting vendors and I think if you should visit.

There was a hustle and bustle that was lively without being over whelming. art on the fence and a cute market in the park. The best part was sitting under a giant mimosa tree listening to the Royal Hawaii Band.

Loved this park. Close to the beach and lots of beautiful trees. It's great to just walk around or lounge if you don't like sand.

The beach was close to our hotel. We walked around the area and enjoyed the view and the beach. We also took a lot of pictures. A few days later, my family went surfing. It was so much fun watching them

Waikiki Beach is part of Kapiolani Regional Park that's located in an area that has hotels, shopping, and dining. Such a breathtaking and beautiful landscape. We visited the beach section towards the park area. During the busiest beach times, parking maybe a bit of a problem. Check out available parking before you visit so most of your time can be spent enjoying the beach vs searching for an available parking space.

Beautiful and good place to just hang out relax and contemplate life and it's mysteries. Plenty of places to sit or lie down below a tree. Within the park is the Honolulu zoo
