If I could give zero stars I would. Do NOT stay here. Use your money somewhere else. Staying here was such a disappointment. The rooms are very outdated. Most of the property is actually very outdated. The waterfall by our room didn’t work the entire time we were there. If you want your room cleaned you have to call every single day the night before. I find this to be very odd. I have never had this experience at any other hotel. Also, we requested a crib upon booking and did not receive one when we arrived. The staff here are very unresponsive so even after asking when we arrived we did not receive a crib for our daughter. Customer service here is terrible. The lines here are ridiculous. Honestly, the whole experience was comically horrible. For how expensive it was to stay here it was not in anyway worth it. I’d personally recommend staying at an Airbnb. Also, they do not do anything to help make special occasions special. We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary so we contacted the hotel ahead of time to see what they could do to make our stay special. Their answer was NOTHING. I understand that special amenities can come with a fee which is fine. But to not have any options for upgrades or something special was very disappointing. Basically this place has HORRIBLE customer service, is overpriced for not being luxurious, and not worth your time or money.

The first thing you should understand is that this is a family resort. Lots and lots of kids, which is OK because I have a few myself. If you're a couple looking for a romantic and somewhat quiet get away this probably wouldn't be the way to go. I really enjoyed the restaurants and the food service was above and beyond. However, the lines on the elevators and for check in (over 100 people at a time) were a bit crazy. If Vegas can figure out how to check in hundreds of thousands per day this resort should be able to as well. Overall I enjoyed my stay because the staff were so friendly, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Very cool property with a pretty good location. Parking rates are obscene. Can't ask for a nicer beach in the area. Service staff are amazing and the front desk staff is also quite good. The local shops are very cool and even the main part of Waikiki shopping is a walkable distance. It's almost worth trying to park on the street somewhere or taking taxis since they'll get you $75 a night to park. That plus some of the other overpriced things makes it kind of a bummer but it is a pretty cool place to stay.

Had a wonderful restful few days. Our room had a balcony with a perfect view. No ocean view this time but beautiful mountain lights and city lights especially at night. Desk was perfect for my husband to do work. Couch was comfortable and the small coffee table was perfect for eating and relaxing watching the free DVD you can get downstairs in a electronic order selection unit. The bed was comfortable but the pillows had a smell to it. The little fridge was useful after we went grocery shopping at the ABC store very close to our tower 👍

I would not recommend staying at this place. All the pools and bars close early. I stayed here for 6 days and have not been able to use the pools. The bars closed when the wind blows. I had 2 kids that wanted to go to the pools with the slides but they are only open until 2pm. The pools close at 6pm. When your in town to explore your not back to the room and pool before 2pm. There is ants and bugs in my room. The bathtub does not drain so when you shower your standing in dirty water. The toilet in my room constantly ran. I went to the front desk and they said sorry nothing they can do for me. We asked to speak to a manager and he said sorry they will look at it for the next guest. We paid extra to upgrade our room to an ocean view. The room was not a true ocean view it is a partial view. My room looks over the neighboring hotels. Very poor customer service.

Had high expectations for this resort given its prime real estate. Checking in late, we expected an easy & smooth check-in, but ended up waiting way too long - could have been greeted with waters or a complimentary drink to ease the wait. The guest experience is lacking given the $ paid - just didn't feel the warm friendly vibe you would expect. The rooms are dated, but spacious - AC works well. Nearby food outlets on the resort are average quality - nothing special (nice part is there is an ABC store on the resort). You have to book your housekeeping (ended up cleaning the room) plus can only hold pool towels for 24 hours or return them the next day. Also, make sure you check which building you are staying in as they play live music until 11pm on some nights and found it hard to sleep. Pools are good, but busy. All and all, would try booking somewhere else next time unless this resort starts to prioritize guest experience management.

I'll be honest the rooms at this resort left a lot to be desired. And it's quite possibly the worst night's sleep any one of my families I had. The beds were so uncomfortable We ended up sleeping on the floor. Called the front desk to see what they could do to help and they said they really couldn't do anything because all of the beds are the same. I guess that means they're all just super old and they don't replace any of the mattresses. Everything here costs extra even though there's a almost $60 a night resort fee. What that covers I'll never know because they didn't clean the room one time while we were there. If you want to do anything it costs extra so really what is the resort fee covering? Extra money on top of the already super inflated pricing for staying at the hotel. I would say these rooms need a serious update and the pricing structure needs to be evaluated because of my mind it is damaging the Hilton brand. Also, I recommend not using their valet for parking again very overpriced and they get backed up very easily. Several times it took them more than 30 minutes to get our car. Save the money and park yourself (but even that is very expensive FYI) at least you can get the car when you know you need it.

Beautiful location with direct beach access. This conglomerate of Hilton hotels bunched together creating a little shopping haven. What is unique with this Hilton location is the fire work every Friday night at 8pm. An experience you do not want to miss. The fire work is beautiful and proximal that it feels 3D. Bali at the waterfront for breakfast: the waitress I have was attentive, personable and made great suggestions. Although it looks real pricey, the portion size is decent and can be shared...what make up for the price is the view of the ocean and the food being served immediately piping hot. The only cons are the front desk could have smile more and be friendlier. Being a diamond member and could not get any member benefits when subscribed to the Hilton Grand vacation package was a total disappointment. Not only you can't check in early, we had to wait 3 hours to be notified that our room was ready. Then wait another hour at the mail and key line to find out that our room was not ready. That was a little perturbing.

Four point five review! This hotel is very beautiful, perfectly located, clean, awesome amenities and amazing staff! It is fun, original, classy and creative stunning architecture. There are only two reasons why I am not giving 5 stars. First, non of the pools are heated… Second; room decoration is outdated, and the furniture seemed like it was peeling due to humidity… A very fun place. Gorgeous and fun amenities… Unique style; and breathtaking balcony views.

I don’t like to write reviews.. but I felt I needed to because this has been such a great place. Always LOVE it here! Great accommodations, nice staff, beautiful views, the kids love the pool and lagoon. Also, Caroline at the Lagoon Grill is an absolute STAR! She met me one time and memorized my family’s entire order and remembered us the rest of the trip and provided great service! She made us feel like family and took great care of us. I also saw her doing this with other guests and I can say people like her made this place even more awesome! Highly recommended!

Very accommodating whereas they let us check in early. They also let you extend your stay if your room is available for additional $$$ which we did since our flight wasn't until later and we could enjoy the hotel. The beach is beautiful. The restaurants were very good. Spent a few hours at the pool which was delightful. We would definitely stay here again.

A little late with the review, but better late than never. I visited the Hilton Waikiki Village back in July of 2021 at the height of Hawaii tourism craziness. First impression right off the bat, "wow this place is huge." The entire area was so well equipped in terms of shops, restaurants and activities that 80% of the time, there was really no need to leave the resort at all. Be warned though, if you are planning to travel during the post pandemic period, long wait times for checking in is expected. I believe I waited half an hour to check in, even with a diamond member status. I did not mind the wait because I understood what was going on, short handed staff members can only do so much. Even with being short handed, the front desk staff did not skip out on providing excellent customer service. Kehaunani was the team member that checked me in. Even with all the craziness, she was bright, cheery and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

We were put in quarantine due to a stupid mistake of our own - which was that our kids' second vaccine shot was one week, instead of two weeks, before our trip. The hotel was overly accommodating. They upgraded our room and provided OUTSTANDING service, bringing us extra towels, coffee, etc. - anything we asked for - within minutes of a request. They were extremely kind, even though it was our own fault. (granted, it was a stupid frustrating rule - the kids both tested negative the day of our flight but Hawaii wouldn't accept the test - pay CLOSE ATTENTION to their rules!!). The room was large and comfortable, if a little dated. The staff seemed to be genuinely kind, friendly, and helpful. The pools were beautiful, the beach was beautiful, the food options were wonderful. We will come back here anytime.

We had the most amazing time here. I would certainly come back! The staff is so accommodating and friendly. The facility is so clean and neat and high end. The room was comfortable and very home-like. We had an amazing view from the terrace in our room. My kids loved the pool, the lagoon and the very nearby beach. We are sad to go but HHV gave us so many wonderful memories. Already planning our return!

Don’t stay here if you have kids who need to be in bed before 10, or if you actually care to get an early night sleep at all. The nightly concerts in the central courtyard next to the Diamond Head tower will keep you up all night. Other than that, the hotel itself is fine. The rooms are standard, with the amenities you would expect. Beds are okay. There are balconies with chairs to sit, which is nice in the mornings (when it’s quiet). Nice location right next to a beach.

This place is great for families! And adults only too! The close proximity to the beach and activities just can’t be beat. The property is well maintained and the staff are all very friendly. Stores and restaurants all downstairs make it all convenient. The rooms are just OK and fairly standard at best. But the location is what you’re there for. The Friday night fireworks was a great surprise for my kids. The nightly live music is loud (in the Diamond Head Tower) but we slept no matter what because after a day of fun, we could sleep through anything!

The General Manager (Jeff) + all staff of the hotel were amazing, helpful and accommodating. This helped my family and I to actually relax and enjoy every moment we were there. I am so grateful for the hospitality and professionalism from initially booking to departure. Very clean resort with very high standards. Excellent location. Accessible stores and food options within the village + a 15 minute walk to the main strip regardless, for shopping and restaurants. Parking although expensive, is in a secured garage steps away from each of the buildings in the resort. Beach front, lagoon and landscaping were well maintained and beautiful. Mandara Spa on site was helpful to rectify an issue and the massage was excellent.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village was amazing! The location, the service, the amenities, the activities, the atmosphere and their friendly staff! Shops and restaurants all within walking distance! Everything 10/10. We stayed in the Rainbow tower with double balcony, with views of diamond head, the beach, and the city. Most breathtaking views ever! I would definitely recommend pay extra because the view is worth it! The only thing I would say, is there is no microwave so just be aware if you have any leftovers.

While it has a nice hotel and a clean room, we paid for a full ocean view and got a partial ocean view room. The hotel and surrounding grounds were very crowded and the pools were smaller than expected. Our room always felt damp and we had no hot water on our last morning. On the plus side, there was lots of shopping and expensive restaurants close by. It was a good family vacation, but we'll try a different and less crowded hotel on our next visit.

Hawaii is beautiful and everything but just not a fan of this hotel. Service was a hit and miss. One gentleman I spoke to was warm and offer information without asking, another girl was robotic and couldn’t help much. One big downside for me is how loud this hotel turns out to be. Not the street, but the resort itself with its late night live music right in the middle of the village. I’d be okay if it was smooth jazz or blues. But it’s more of a drums and shouting type. Of course it’s a Hilton in a superb location so not the worst choice. And I’m sure if you got the ocean front room it probably be better. But in my experience, paying nearly 300 per night and can’t sleep well is something that make me wanna stay away in future.

We stayed in the Rainbow Tower on the 9th floor last weekend. Since we arrived around 8:30pm, our check in was really fast - minimal line. Rainbow tower with ocean front view is a must! We had full views of the ocean as well as Diamond Head. Love, love the sound of the ocean. IMO, room price is a bit high but you are paying for location. The hotel staff was outstanding!...always pleasant and professional and very accommodating. The room was clean and acceptable. The double beds were not terribly uncomfortable....wished they were queens not doubles. And the toilet paper is kind of scratchy if you know what I mean.....We opted for the on site parking in the parking structure at $50/day.....yes - pricey but IMO, worth it! The ABC store on site was awesome! We shopped there daily! While the room had a mini fridge......wished there was a microwave. Checking out beach towels was super simple. Easy check out as well! Overall, our stay was wonderful! Great memories!

Stayed here for 7 nights, requested an ocean view, we got a view of the marina. Service was fine. Way too crowded, 30 min + wait for the elevators in rainbow towers after the fireworks. Location was ideal, beach was right there. Beds were too small, and the room was looking dated. Pools were gross, too many people, a layer of film was forming in the pools. One guest even found a pair of swim shorts floating in the tapa pool. Probably not going to stay here again unless it's free. Not worth the price unfortunately.

Aging (and a bit tired), but a great location and very good/friendly service. Plenty to do for the kiddos, but a but hectic / crowded for couples. Note: the beach is great, but with the protective structures, the break is wayyyy out there. So if you wanna surf or boogie board, hope you like to paddle… It’s a huge property with several towers + shopping + restaurants. Stuff is convenient, but pricey on-property. It’s a longer walk than most hotels to Waikiki attractions. Rooms are clean and spacious with great views. We stayed on the lagoon side of the Rainbow tower. Interesting remodel on the bathroom… they put in a sliding barn-style door, but left big gaps between track and door frame - so if you like privacy, might wanna pick a different tower. AC was loud and safe didn’t work (no big deal as property is very secure).

My husband and I stayed in the rainbow tower, and we loved every second of it! The tower is a bit out dated, but we really didn’t care because the room was clean and the view was amazing. From our balcony we could see sea turtles!! We left our curtains open the whole time so we could have gorgeous views of the sun and water the entire time. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the perfect location- lots to do around the hotel and super walkable! The property is also huge! A lot of great shops and places to dine.

This place is an absolute dream. We were here on our honeymoon and got upgraded to a newly renovated room. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast on the balcony every morning and watched the sunset from here (almost) every night. On Friday night they do fireworks, so we stayed to watch those and saw the sunset from there which was breathtaking. Everyone, from the front desk staff, activity guides, towel stand workers and house keepers were so kind, welcoming and friendly. You really felt comfortable at this place. The beach is gorgeous and there are so many pools you can choose from. There is a TON of stores you can shop at right on location, and the ABC store is a lifesaver for things you need to pick up. The tropic bar was great for drinks and live music right on the beach. We did the lei making activity and they turned out beautifully! We also HIGHLY recommend the Surf Bus. You get to pick 2 activities (i.e. snorkeling, biking, hiking and then you pick from paddle boarding, kayaking, or walking around a town with some shops), you stop at some local places, and get a tour of the entire island. This is an all day thing (we went from 8-5) but it is so informative, the views are breathtaking, and you really feel like you experienced all that Oahu has to offer. The only “downside” we ran into was there was no on site laundry area (my husband wore a lot more clothes than he thought he would). We were looking for somewhere to throw a load of wash in, but they only offered dry cleaning.

Honestly really wanted to like this place, and I almost never leave reviews, but for the price it costs to stay here I was expecting a bit more than your average cheap motel. Took about 30 minutes to check in, which explains why the line is always insanely long. Although we booked months in advance, the concierge spent at least 20 minutes looking through her computer frantically to find us any available room possible. Somehow they overbook the rooms and try to get you to "upgrade" since they don't have the room you chose or even one with the right bed. It really shouldn't be such a huge issue, as everyone books ahead of time you should have the rooms available for those who book them. When she finally found one we could stay in, we were beyond disappointed with the room. Ugly outdated decor/furniture, bright yellow walls, and the weirdest layout I've ever seen. Not even remotely close to the pictures shown online that we specifically picked our room out because of. The view was of other buildings, with a small sliver between them you can sometimes spot the ocean through. We didn't bother asking to switch rooms as it seemed that was the only one in the entire hotel they had with a king size bed. Also there is no microwave, only a small fridge that freezes everything in it for some reason. So don't count on being able to get groceries or eat leftovers. (Every other hotel in America has microwaves in the room or at least one in the lobby, come on) In terms of amenities, they would maybe make the price worth it if it was possible to use any of them. The seating options by the few small pools they have is very scarce, with maybe 20 seats for the thousands of hotel guests and anyone else on the island to fight over like wild animals. Saw families of 5 all having to share one pool chair, if they were lucky enough to get it. The other option is to swim at their "beach" area, which is so crowded you might as well head over to Waikiki Beach or one of the other nearby hotel's beaches instead for a better experience. Food anywhere on the property is overpriced with small portions, only plus is the walking distance to a few normal range places close by if you're willing to get a work out in. Overall, Found myself wanting to leave the hotel as much as possible to avoid our depressing room and the overcrowded resort. None of the staff were very helpful during our trip or apologetic about how they overbooked our room. If anything I had more rude encounters with staff than friendly ones. Would recommend spending less money at any other resort possible on the island, the bad energy and organization at this place might just ruin your entire trip if you let it. Know that the thousands of dollars you're spending to stay here is for the ugly room alone, and anything else is open to the public. A "four star" hotel should do better. Unfortunately it doesn't seem they ever will, as I've now been reading tons of reviews with the same concerns as me, which have all been replied to by staff with no following action.

Loved the location. Very central to great shopping. The beach access was good. The lagoon was great for younger children or people who want water without waves. All the pools were nice, but they could definitely use maybe 1 or 2 more pools with more chairs. They can get really crowded. The restaurants and shops in the resort were great too. I'll definitely be coming back.

Rooms are starting to look aged. Our bath tub wouldn't drain, water damage on floors, doors, and floor boards. We had a constant water leak coming through the floor. Service was good with some and not others. We asked the front desk for a water bottle and they gave attitude and said this is a one time exception. I mean come on, we are paying $1000 a night and you can't give us a darn water bottle!! They don't give out leis anymore. Location is a little farther away from where all the action is. The beach is very rocky and recommended wearing water shoes in the water.

Our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki was an absolute delight. The hotel's innovative text chat service greatly enhanced our experience with its swift and efficient responses, matched by the daily and efficient housekeeping service which was a significant highlight. Also, we found parking to be conveniently accessible. Once on the grounds the elevator system efficiently transports numerous guests to their respective floors, contributing to a seamless experience. The panoramic views from the hotel were breathtaking. Additionally, the on-site dining and shopping options were impressive. The meticulous maintenance of the grounds showcased their dedication to detail. This was my second stay, and each time has been a remarkably pleasant experience. The resort complex, complemented by the stunning surroundings of Waikiki Beach and Honolulu city, makes it an exceptional destination. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here for a truly memorable experience.

We stayed for 6 nights and had a good experience, especially with the staff they are all really awesome! At first, I was worried reading some of the reviews, and especially because we are a couple with no kids. However, our room in the Tapa tower in one of the higher floors was spacious and clean (I chose to upgrade for an extra $45/day to get a more newly renovated room). There was daily room service and the view was good. The check in process was about 30 minutes for us. The location is very convenient which is the biggest pro, we took the bus and shuttles everywhere and went to the beach often. The umbrella rental is $40, but worth it if you stay for a few hours. Tip the umbrella guys, they’re so helpful and friendly! I would say Hilton is more geared towards families, but we didn’t mind kids too much since we didn’t go to the pool too often. I wish other guests and reviewers here would be nicer to the staff because they’re really friendly and helpful!

This place is busy and lively. It was a lot of fun. We stayed in the Tapa Tower. It was clean and modern enough, which can be hard to find in Hawaii. There is a bar with live music at the base of the tower, which was a nice place to relax before ending the day. Kids enjoyed the pools and the beach. The food at the beach restaurant is mediocre but its a fun place to eat regardless. It's a little far from the main Waikiki Beach strip, which is the only downside of staying here.

Wonderful resort. The rooms are nice and clean. The pools are awesome and their is even a man-made lagoon for swimming and other activities. The resort is enormous and has multiple pools and hot tubs. Lots of food options, shopping and activities all located right on the property. The staff throughout the resort is extremely helpful and friendly.

I stayed here for 2 weeks back in March and it was pretty nice. This place is literally next to the beach and there were fireworks every week. Hallway and room quality could be better due to age but were still good. I didn't mind though as I spent more time outside than inside. There are 2 ABC convenience stores here along with a bunch of shops and restaurants. There's always the option to go outside the resort to visit the other shops/restaurants of Waikiki.

We've been coming to Hilton Hawaiian Village since 2004 and own a timeshare unit there. It is a very clean and classy resort and they serve their customers very well. (It's a Hilton, after all) Hotel rooms and timeshare units are very well maintained and the amenities are 1st class. It's an easy walk to the main Waikiki area and has several pools and several restaurants and eating places. The resort is right on the beach, so you're never more than a few minutes from the water at any point. The service is very quick and good for guests and they have always taken care of our requests quickly. There are a LOT of shops if you like browsing. They have a luau about 3 nights per week and an impressive fireworks show every Friday evening. The beaches are right there and surfing is available. There is a private Lagoon and you can rent all sorts of water sports and beach equipment right there. So, you really don't need to leave the resort, but as said, Waikiki is only a few minutes walk. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that you'll be happy with all the things available to do, and with the accommodations at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. I can say that, due to almost 20 years of going there and being happy with it each time. The photos were taken from my room in the Lagoon Tower, next to the Rainbow Tower.

Left something to be expected. The rooms are very dated. Saving Grace of this hotel is the view if u end up with a high room. There is no lotion avail in the hotel and no water fountains to fill up at. The beds are full size only which is small. The furnishings are very dated and it shows. This would’ve been a great hotel in the 80s. Update: we were over charged for parking. The hot water in the hotel room is unpredictable. Also the area is super difficult to navigate as the roads are all curved and google maps doesn’t work on the small pedestrian paths

Great experience at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The website could use an update as it was a little misleading on a few things. And heads up if you book an excursion, which I highly recommend, the service at the hotel is excellent, but you will be asked to go to a presentation on time shares and if you decline, the team becomes a little less enthusiastic about helping you. 😉 we enjoyed the many restaurants, the fun activities, and the shops at the resort. We really could have spent the entire week there and never had to leave. I appreciated the towel service and the hospitality crew were fantastic. Check in was easy and the staff at the desk were wonderful. Overall it was a perfect getaway for my husband and I.

The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The staff’s service was excellent. The location was perfect. My rating is based on the overall vibe. It was PACKED!! I know that’s just the way it is during peak season but it was rather uncomfortable at times to roam the lounge areas and pool decks. This is 100% a family-only resort. There isn’t much at all for young adults. Maybe my experience would have been more positive if I was part of the hotel’s demographic.

Very beautiful location, great hotel. We had a room on the 17th floor, and the ocean view was breathtaking. Room service is outstanding. However, customer service does need work. For the amount of money paid, you expect not to stand in line for an hour, also some people are not too friendly up front. Other than that, the location is perfect, with multiple pools, lots of shopping, and entertainment. Beach is right there in arms reach. Lots of dining places, many choices. Would definitely recommend it. I've been there twice already. The second experience was better in Tapa Tower. The first time in Diamond head was OK... we were facing the street and trash cans, switched rooms, and were facing the pool and bar. It was better but very loud, which we didn't mind. Beautiful resort over all, especially with family.

Where to start? The location was very nice. We stood in the rainbow tower. Highly recommend it for the beautiful view. Check in took a long time at the hotel. About 45 minutes. There was literally only one person in front of me. They couldn't find the reservation which my hotel was fully paid in advance. I went to this location for the fireworks and the swimming pool. They are no longer doing fireworks. They have multiple water slides in the same location. However, They all open at different times at different times. Which was very inconvenient. I woke up early so I could get a good seat to watch my children swim. Waited in line about 30 mins. However, when I got to the front of the gate to get in the swimming pool they told me we had to have wristbands. I asked the gentleman if I could please put my things down and I would gladly go to the front desk to get the wristbands. Unfortunately he did not let me. It took me about another 45 minutes to get wristbands. By this time there was nowhere left to sit in the swarming area. I had to literally stand up and put my coffee on top of trash can so i could eat my breakfast. I also called for room service 3 out of 4 days of our stay. NOT ONCE did they come to my room. So, I just walked up and down the halls till I found a worker and they were supper helpful. Mind you I stay at Hilton's everywhere we go. I must say their customer service here was poor. Normally, I highly recommend Hilton Hotels. Just not this location

Great spot to stay if you're into all inclusive resort style vacationing. Great location and lots of dining options within the village. Really clean and excellent staff to help assist you with all your needs. The only thing I felt that was unfortunate and would like to see change is the one time-use toiletries in the bathroom. Definitely not environmentally conscious. Refills would be much better especially given the scale of this hotel. Otherwise a great spot to stay.

Location is the best part of this hotel. Walking distance from the beach. Most of the staff is friendly, except the front desk can be stuck up. Parking is way overpriced. $65 daily & add $10 more for valet. Nice safe area & beautiful views. Swimming pools need upgrading. It's pretty cold for the hawaii winter & not cleaned routinely. It's pretty small for such a large resort.

Pros: Room size is decent. Great location. Lots of shops inside of the hotel. 3 minutes fireworks was enjoyable. Cons: - Check in line was way too long. - Staffs are not very friendly and no willingness for help. - No microwave. Never seen a hotel has no microwave (not even in the common area). I couldn't heat up the baby food or milk. - Room was not clean at all. Stains are everywhere. Coffee stain on mugs in the room. Black stuff came out in the bathtub when I sprayed with shower. Not sure if I want to recommend to anyone.

Real nice place to stay. Especially if you like to shop and do a lot of touristy things. You can walk to a lot of places from here and the masks etc are working walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfy. Views from some rooms are eh. Parking is absurd and costly just do valet. Resort fee and done other minor fees when you get there. Really nice people and service. Great valet team.

This place is fantastic for many reasons. The location is great, being right on Waikiki Beach and only a 10-15 minute walk to the nice shopping district. There are so many shops and restaurants right on premise, so grabbing a quick snack in an ABC Store or getting souvenirs was easy and convenient. I downgraded one star for a couple reasons, however: understanding the current pandemic, the place was very short staffed. The restaurant prices are absurd - Tropics wanted $30 for a burger…walk down the street and you will pay half that. You’re also charged a pretty high resort fee when booking but they still charge $50/night for parking. Overall, though, you can’t beat the price of the stay considering all that you get here. We had an awesome time and recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in O’ahu!

This resort is beautiful, well maintained, and HUGE. There are several buildings for rooms, and many different options for shopping. I bought all my souvenirs on site. There are two or three ABC markets on site for your essentials and for souvenirs. The staff was always very friendly and welcoming. Our room faced the water, it was spacious and clean and we loved it. We had breakfast three mornings in a row at the restaurant next to Wiki Wiki market (I can't remember the name) and the food was amazing! I would love to go back in the future. They also treat Diamond members really well.

The facility had so many hidden fees upon arrival. Parking was $50 per day along with a $50 daily resort fee. For every beach towel that you don’t return there is a $20 fee. This facility was extremely dirty considering we are in the middle of a pandemic. Most of the bathrooms were unusable. The rooms were very unsanitary. There were also many homeless people inside the resort using the amenities. All the restaurants, pools and bars in the hotel closes by 10pm. There were no microwaves accessible to customers. The wait for drinks and food were ridiculous. Overall very disappointed with our stay.

We were not told about the housekeeping, or lack of. Not really a big deal. Staff has little knowledge of property. We were sent today restaurants that were closed. They didn't know they had a car rental on the property. A guest had to tell me where it was. Food at Tropics horrible. 18.00 for nachos, that's what they called it, tortilla Chips(cold) on a plate with hot cheese sauce. Are you kidding! Over all value not there. I am sure they would blame it on covid. That seems to be a thing.

Aloha! I was just here this weekend and I had a great stay! As a Hilton Diamond Member they upgraded me at check in and even gave me options for my upgrade. Also, the staff was very nice and gracious on a late checkout! Definitely will be my go to hotel when I come back to visit Hawaii! Mahalo!

I heard that in pandemic, hotels must meet specific protocols in order to prevent spreading covid virus. Even without covid virus, we are expecting a clean room. The room that we had was super dusty and we've been worried about our little baby and ourselves. On the most of the surfaces dust was clearly visible and I feel regret of trusting Hilton Waikiki village hotel. The absolutely did nothing to keep their guests safe.

Brian @ front desk is a rock star. Hospitable, funny, and efficient. We had a amazing time on our 5 night stay at the resort. As a matter of fact everyone we encountered working at the resort was just tremendous. The Wiki store employees made me feel like home every morning going in for breakfast. Pool was kept clean and housekeeping was on top of everything. Extremely satisfied.

The view from the Tappa Tower was beautiful. And there was plenty to do or not do...just being on the nice beaches right outside the Resort was all I really needed. Everything was within walking distance or you could easily get the bus or a cab. Whatever you do don't let them book you in the Diamond Tower unless/until it's been remodeled. Be sure to be prepared to pay for meals, but they do have a nice variety of places right there to eat. Had a very relaxing time.

I have stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort 3 times. I keep coming back because it's a great hotel. As a Hilton Diamond member this resort gives you the best bang for your points. The rooms have all of the necessary essentials needed and are quite comfortable. The rooms in the rainbow tower facing Diamond Head/Ocean offers amazing views. I literally could sit out on the balcony all day and night if I allowed myself to. The staff is always courteous and if things go wrong they make it right. I can't stress the importance of this. Their management team is well trained. The resort has everything from a variety of restaurants to an ABC Store, Starbucks, Shopping etc. I totally recommend this place if you want a great experience in Waikiki. I can only come up with a few cons. 1) Self Park is expensive. 2) The website shows photos of a pool with slides which I have never ever seen. Management is this an old photo or something coming soon? What I saw was a fish pond completely empty and dried out instead in the lagoon area. 3) The resort is set up GREAT for entertainment but I feel they fall short on providing the entertainment. One outside bar had a band that played early but I feel they could do much more to create a better experience. 4) I ended up with a separate charge on my credit card that was not on the Hotel receipt. I called their Dispute/Accounting office 4 times and no one answered. I am sure this will be corrected or clarified but I'm disappointed that I can't reach someone. Those are my only 4 cons. Despite some flaws I am rating 4 stars. I will return for a 4th time.

Stayed for 7 nights, requested a partial ocean view, we got a partial view of the marina. The hotel seems to be open to the public, it’s way too crowded, most shops and restaurants close at 8pm. No umbrella or shade by the Super pool (main pool) and on the beach also no shade, no major trees and no umbrellas. For shade you need to rent and umbrella and chaise-longs, we did that mistake the first day and paid $90 USD. I would expect any major hotel to have umbrellas for the guests, but no. Anyone from the public could come and put their towel right beside you. So don’t expect a private beach or any shade for that matter. Location was ideal, beach was right there. The room was smelly and looking dated. Pools were gross, too many people, a layer of film was forming in the pools. Probably not going to stay here again. Not worth the price unfortunately and there is NO service offered unless you are in the most premium tower. The only service you get is room cleaning and towel service stands.

The location of this resort was perfect! The resort is right on the beach. I was here for work but I brought my family along. My family was able to enjoy the nice pools, the beach that is directly on the resort, and some of the tours through the concierge desk while I was at work. We stayed in the newly renovated Tapa tower and really enjoyed the large spacious up-to-date room. All of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating.

The Friday night fireworks was a great surprise for my kids

Hilton Hotel was the best hotel I've ever been to😍 I went on a honeymoon for five days at the Hilton Hotel two weeks ago. I went on my first trip to Hawaii with my husband. I was very satisfied when I arrived at the Hilton Hotel💙 The sea view of the Rainbow Tower was impressive. And everyone who worked at the Hilton Hotel was really kind and sweet. We were worried if we could communicate well because we were not good at English. But all the staff at the Hilton Hotel tried to communicate with their facial expressions and gestures, and we were very moved. I miss Hawaii, which was full of wonderful scenery and wonderful people. I want to remember Hawaii while thinking about the scent of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion I used in the shower at the Hilton Hotel. If possible, please let me know the brand and name of these. So that I can remember Hilton's happy memories for a long time. I bought various shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, but it's a shame that it doesn't smell like Hilton...🥺😭 I plan to go to Hawaii again next time. And of course, our accommodation will be the Hilton Hotel. Thank you to all of Hilton's employees for making happy memories💖💖 The sentence may be weird because I used a translator😢

The room service was fantastic. And Sophie our room cleaner was great. There was an issue in our room though with carpet nails sticking up and my daughter hurt her foot. She was in an awful lot of pain. The management did provide some hotel coupons which she used for breakfast. However, the food was terribly expensive. We looked for other places to eat after that so be prepared.

We had the most amazing stay at this Hilton resort. Everyone we met from front desk to the restaurants were so wonderful and personable. Housekeeping cleaned our room everyday which was awesome. They upgraded us to an ocean view room in the rainbow tower and it made our stay so enjoyable. I was expecting a longer line at check in but if you’re a gold or diamond member there is hardly a line even at the busiest times. We recommend the tropics restaurant if you eat at the resort, they had good food for every meal. It is a large property and in 12 days we never got bored, there is always something fun to do. I would absolutely stay here again and I recommend anyone else to stay here. The distance from the hotel to the beach can not be beat and I can not wait to come back!

July vacation, I didn’t realize this village has 7 different hotels which means very crowded and lots of people . Lines for everything from towels, bathroom, restaurants, elevators. The elevators gave me extreme anxiety with a strange system that assigns you a specific elevator with people packing in to catch a ride. Beach chairs and umbrellas cost 80$ a day :( beach is great, room was nice with house keeping daily and a gorgeous view. I enjoyed the stores and restaurant choices centrally located. Pools were just ok with no umbrellas. Looking forward to the fireworks tonight (Friday).

Great place with kids. It's big and may seem a bit crazy but if you're with kids, then it's great. The beach is nice and wide plus the semi-protected (reef) waters are great for splashing around and swimming. The lagoon is also great fun. You can rent paddle boards, kayaks, and water tricycles. Pools are just ok and a bit crowded but we go to Hawaii for the beaches not hotel pools. Nice little shopping area in the village. Couple of Starbucks, ice cream places, food, ABC markets, few clothing stores... 1 mile walk to main drag in Waikiki for more shopping and food choices. I just wished the hotel food establishments had more vegan/vegetarian options. Very very limited

The hotel is top notch but you pay for it. If you can avoid having a car as this will add about $70.00 per day to your stay for parking. Location is great and close to all kinds of shopping and beach facilities. The luau is top notch but a bit cheesy at times. Now a bit of the downside. Rooms are smallish, but very well-kept. All the upper floors have good views either city, garden or ocean. Honolulu has really slidden as far as a tourists safety is concerned. Pick pockets (our grand daughter had her purse taken) abound. No place is really safe after dark beyond the hotel grounds itself. Just beware of your surroundings. Several times when about in the city, especially in the International Market, we were on high alert as we felt unsafe. Just saying.

Pretty average for the price you pay. Pros: nice beach and lagoon. Room was fine, dated but clean, only double beds not queen or king which was it the most comfortable. Enjoyed the morning yoga classes Cons: Pools are gross, so crowded and dirty and looked like they had had a truckload of chlorine dumped in. 3 pools for 6 towers is ridiculous, just not enough and impossible to get a lounger, we gave up on trying to use them. Checkin is a complete farce, having to line up for almost an hour to get your room key is a joke, they are clearly understaffed. Then we were told our room wouldn’t be ready until 4pm instead of the advertised 2pm, not good after an overnight flight with 2 kids. Cost of the restaurants at the resort is diabolical. Yes Hawaii is expensive but prices at the resort were 30-50% higher than most of the restaurants we tried in the main Waikiki town area In general, the resort is away from the main Waikiki town area. Having now been there I’d always stay in a hotel in town in future- close to the nicest beaches and restaurants. Wouldn’t bother with the Hilton again.
