This is a very nice AFRC resort. The beach area of the resort is not super crowded, unlike the Hilton right next door, which is very nice. The Barefoot Bar and Happy's were also great for a quick drink or meal. The room was also quite clean and had a great view of the ocean from the balcony. There is also a Luau Garden that hosts a top notch show a couple times a week. One thing I didn't like however was how early the adult pool and coffee shop closed. The adult pool closed at 5PM and the coffee shop closed at 11:30AM. I would have expected both those areas to remain open for another three or four hours. Another thing is that some of the elevators were being modernized during our stay, which meant long wait times for the elevator.

Not too bad overall, but a little overrated. The price is what you'd expect from a military-affiliate hotel, so the higher rank you are the less value you're getting. The location isn't bad, but a little outside the main area (this may be considered an advantage). Parking is $16 is you're staying there, which is great for the area. The big hit on this hotel for me, along with the rough towels in the bathroom, was the pool. There's an adult only pool, a main pool with an infinity pool above it, and a splash area for children. The splash area is fun, but the main pool had so many rules it was hard to enjoy anything: - the entire pool is cleared at the top of the hour for "safety and training," whatever that entails (it wasn't obvious) - a child must know how to swim to swim in the pool without a life jacket (which they will provide). I understand that's extremely safe, but then what's the point of the three lifeguards and the other rule to be within arm's reach of your young child all the time? Clearly this pool is not a good opportunity to have a child practice swimming. Overall, I'm glad I stayed a night, and I haven't discounted the Hale Koa entirely, but I will definitely do a thorough cost comparison with hotels in the area before staying again.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Hale Koa. The room was clean, the grounds beautiful and well maintained on the beach with many restaurants to choose from with great prices (for Hawaii). Our favorite part of the Hale Koa is the pool. We loved the adults only infinity pool and the pool slides. We have stayed at many hotels on Oahu and the Hale Koa has our vote for one of the best pools! The only downside of the pool was that it closed at 5 PM. Not sure why it closes so early. But besides that, we loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. We can’t wait to go back!

Our family went to Oahu for a vacation and we spent the day walking the streets and beaches in the area. Our 21 year old daughter felt sick so we went to the Hale Koa hotel so she could use the bathroom. She sat on the couch in the lobby and began to feel worse. The security and staff at the hotel noticed this and came over to offer their assistance. Out of nowhere a doctor came along who was a guest at the hotel. Not sure how they found her but then another doctor came along plus the medic for the hotel. They also called and ambulance to have her checked out. Long story short our daughter was dehydrated. The staff was amazing throughout the awful experience. The security guard which I can’t remember his name was telling us stories of when he went to school in Korea and helped us take our minds off what was happening. The staff was so nice to deal with. We weren’t even guests but they treated us as if we were. I would come and stay at this hotel the next time we go to Oahu. Thanks again to the security and staff for kindness and compassion.

Excellent Hotel. Proud to be with the Veterans walking around the property all day & night. The luau is Fantastic & so is the breakfast buffet. My daughter is the reason we are so fortunate to be able to stay @ this Warm & Patriotic Hotel. It's truly a Privilege & Honor to stay among her branch (Navy) & Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard I mean I met a 6x Purple Heart recipient the other morning just walking to the Beach. Stay here & Be Proud. No taxes, no hotel fees I mean this is a Steal & the location is Perfect. From retirees to young families make it your next vacation spot u will be Happy u did. Still here for another week! Bye

The hotel is beautiful including the grounds. The entire hotel is taken well care of. It is clean and very peacefully. The only thing missing is FOOD. there is NOT MUCH VARIETY on food options. Would like to see VARIETY such as Italian. Mexican. Chinese style foods so you have enough to chose from. Walking distance from many things is a plus. 🌴🌴enjoyed our stay here.

Hale Koa is a haven in the craziness of Waikiki. The grounds are stunning. The adult pool was so relaxing and quiet, with shaded areas which is a must for me. Liked the Barefoot Bar as there was a lot of room to spread out, and had good drinks for a reasonable price. Our room was very nice, we were on the end so had an extra large window which made it feel more spacious. Our friends stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian village which was beautiful, but it was way too crowded for us. We enjoyed the serene quiet of Hale Koa! The only thing I would change is for restaurants to have more gluten free options as I have celiac disease. The breakfast buffet was fine, but the snack bars really had very little or nothing I could eat. This hotel is a definite perk for those who serve/retire from the military. We felt blessed to have the opportunity to stay there!

It took a little while to find the fridge in the room. Unfortunately there was no microwave to reheat leftovers. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location on Waikiki Beach was very nice. It was within walking distance of the museum, bus stops, restaurants and other points of interest.

The ocean view room my family and I had was okay. And the hotel is well maintained. And it’s more affordable compared to the other hotels in the area! My biggest issue was the pool area which is not kid friendly and the lifeguards have so many rules which we never experienced at any other hotel around the world or in Kapolei area. We have traveled all throughout Southeast Asia, Europe and recently went on vacation to Colombia back in July and my daughter was able to swim whenever she wanted with no restrictions and not having to worry about a stupid swim test! What type of freedom is this Hale Koa? It defeats the purpose of having a lifeguard and parent around in the vicinity. It makes no sense. Getting paid to do less! They really need to be more lenient with letting the kids swim (on their own) and letting people have some fun with music, etc. The hotel was good, but the dumb rules got us. Don’t come here if you got kids that don’t know how swim up to their standard! Or you will be treated like an outcast! If you are on a budget, traveling solo, as a couple or with a group of mature military friends, then it is good to stay here! Again, it was an okay stay, it’s just not kid friendly. Too many restrictions! Lifeguards are too strict and too much in your business which we are not used to!

Was there on my way out of the service. Had never stayed there until then and it was fresh into the pandemic. Hoping to be able to stay there again now that I'm a veteran. They mostly cater to inbound and outbound military families. But I'd be back in a heartbeat. Great pool, food and the rooms and bathrooms were excellent

Friendly staff, very clean hotel and Omgosh the beds are comfortable as ever! There is a Starbucks in the main lobby which is convenient when you want to wake up early and just lounge in the lobby area. Downstairs there is the Exchange for military and hotel guest. Pathway downstairs leads you to the pools and beaches. Food was good I had a cheeseburger and fries for lunch which was delicious. Ocean view rooms you will not regret if you purchase it was amazing! Free parking and walking distance from the strip. I definitely would book here again!

My family and I recently stayed 8 nights at the Hale Koa hotel for the first time. We were very impressed with the property. The rooms were clean and spacious. The customer service is phenomenal and the Luau was incredible. The pools are magnificent. The spa is exceptional. HK is definitely an extraordinary Resort! We can't wait to go back.

Centrally located with a beautiful pool set up and beach access. The pools close pretty early on weekdays (5pm), but lifeguards are great, pool is well maintained, and the splash pad is awesome. The housekeeping staff is SUPER aggressive, though, and won’t take “no” for an answer. They even called our room after we told them we didn’t need anything. It made my older teenagers incredibly uncomfortable to the point that they didn’t want to leave the room

Ok, so the room was basic but clean, no balcony, so that was a little disappointing. The pool is great looking, no problem there. Even though the life guards were a little extra for no reason at all. And the pool closed at 1700, which is absolutely ridiculous. The price IS very good, especially for the location. Got drinks from there bar nothing to write home about, I would suggest never drinking from their bar, not worth it. I ate at the restaurant in the hotel, and it was horrible. Food lacked flavor, some parts overcooked, and their drinks were bad, too. So, overall, I probably won't stay here again unless I know I can get a different type of room. But the parking was cheaper here so that's good.

What a great trip. As a former hospitality industry worker, I recognize exceptional service when I see it. Several staff went "above and beyond" during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and you are allowed to bring your pool towels to the beach and back. Your kids need to be 48" to go down the water slides, UNLESS they can pass the swim test. For the swim test, your kids have to jump in the water by themselves (without mommy there to catch them), then they have to tread water for one minute, then tread water while spinning in a circle, then "swim" (or at least dog paddle) for 25 yards. They will then get a put on a special list and be given a new wristband each day that shows they are able to go down the slide, and able to swim without a flotation device. You are not allowed to go down the slide with a flotation device, and you can't go down the slide with mommy or a big sister. The BX shop on the ground floor saves you money, too. For example. micro-Lego (not brand name) kits to make a volcano, or a shark, ray, etc. were $14.95 at the many ABC stores around, but they were only $10.50 at the BX. A box of cereal at the ABC store can cost $9.50 or more, but at the BX they are more like $4.00. The only thing that I found more expensive at the BX than at other stores were the ukuleles. Get those at Best Hawaiian Ukulele, which is about a 15 minute walk. A very good, beginner Kona brand concert-sized ukulele was $164 at the BX, but only $110 at Best Hawaiian. The accompanying photos were from room 1109 in the tower right next to where the front desk is located. Can't wait to go back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and the view was amazing. The hotel backs right up to the beach. They do an amazing job at making sure the grounds are very well kept. They also have a lot of amenities at the hotel- the tiki bar stays open until 10. Definitely looking forward to the next time.

This hotel is a great place to stay while staying in Hawaii. I haven't had a bad experience while staying here. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you with any questions. The rooms are perfect size for a vacation and updated for the most part. Some rooms have stand-up showers while others have a tub/shower. I prefer the stand-up. The corner rooms are very roomy and have excellent views. Only complaints are the elevator situation. It always seems like 1 elevator is out but it doesn't ruin anything about the trip or hotel. And the adult pool times. I feel like the pool hours should go into the night because who uses a hot-tub when it's warm and sunny out. Having the pool open until 10p.m. instead of 4 would be a very big benefit.

Honestly, in Hawaii you can't have a bad time. There is something about the open lobby of this place that is just so incredibly soothing and enchanting. Obviously it is very close to the beach, with incredible views. To the right of the hotel there is a very picturesque jetty, where you will see fisherman at sunset with their headlamps on. The service was top notch, as well as the restaurant. I highly recommend this place, it's beautiful year round.

The Hale Koa has been our go to 2 weeks vacation place for 12 yrs. The prices are good comparatively. The food is excellent and the staff is courteous. The grounds are kept beautifully. It's perfectly located to the beach and the shopping strip. I understand the staffing shortage these last couple of years, it's every where....But, I would like to see the Jave coffee stand open past 1130am. That's just cruel :) :) I would love to have the lobby vendors back, the Comedy show and Sunday Brunch. They both were a big part of my vacation pleasure. Thank you to the staff for always being so kind and helpful. See you next November.

10/10 do recommend. I read the negative reviews, and outside of the understandable Covid related issues (which are apparently resolved at this point), I saw none of the “problems” noted. Staff were incredible. Accommodations were outstanding (pool, snack bar, restaurants, PX, bars, fitness center). Best beach on Waikiki, hands down. The Luau show and food was top notch. The magic show, also fantastic. The booking agent got us hooked up with the Polynesian Culture Center (a must see), a full Pearl Harbor tour, and whale watching. My only regret was that we stayed for 5 nights rather than 10. As an aside, get away from the beach for great restaurants - the touristy chain restaurants on and near the beach are pretty generic. We had great authentic Korean, Thai, Laotian, Burmese, Poke, and Turkish food - all off of the beaten path.

Great resort for the military and retired personnel. As well for DOD. One of the best resorts I've been too. I can't wait to come back. A must recommend!!! Friday nights there's a fireworks show right next door. Parking for guests at a slight price. Worth it. Beach is right out the back of the hotel. Great location.

Its a hotel with really small rooms. Its in a nice location, just a couple blocks from the main strip, and its right on the ocean. It also has a really nice pool, however in typical military fashion, it is extremely over-regulated. They are very strict with the kids in the pool. Children have to take a swim test or be "within an arms length" of the parent. Whats the point of the life guards? All they do is walk around yelling at kids and parents. The receptionist might as well been a robot. She didn't give me any information on the resort. I could barely understand what she was saying due to the mask (yes, they are still playing covid games). There are way nicer places in the area for the same price, so I would recommend looking around before booking here.

Overall, highly recommend this place. Overall I’d give it 4.5 but the star rating only allowed for 4 OR 5. Pros: - check in is super easy - huge property but easy to navigate - very nice rooms. No frills but very modern, clean, comfortable and heating/air work great - beds are very comfortable - everyone is DOD related so felt safe - property is clean, very well-kept and spacious - loved getting my bill and it was straight forward. No taxes, no hidden fees, nothing to challenge, nothing confusing - lots of eating and shopping in walking distance Cons: - Parking is across the street and not on property - restaurants are Hawaii prices but not quite quality for price - ran into one unhelpful worker but I’d consider him a “one off” - no microwaves in rooms. - no real frig. There’s a cooler in the bathroom under the sink. Had to call desk to even find it. Neither good nor bad, it is what it is: - Lots of foot traffic in area. Not the “bad” part of town per se but we encountered a few folks with clear mental health issues. Travel in pairs and you’ll be fine - things close early in this city I’d come again and again and highly recommend overall.

Me and my wife were very happy with our stay here. The staff were always very helpful and nice, the restaraunt options were great, the gardens were beautiful to walk through every morning and the rooms were nice. I highly recommend going to the Luau if staying here. The dinner you are served is delicious, and it's pretty interesting to see the various dances from different cultures. Overall it was a really good experience. My gripes would be that they still had Christmas music playing in the lobby areas, and the pool closes at 1700.

This review is based entirely on going to the poolside bar. Service was impeccable. I've never had faster service at a place like this. Fun tasty drinks and we didn't eat but the apps looks good from what I saw on others tables. The property was immaculate and the pools looked nice. Nice beach.

Can’t say enough about this hotel. The rates are excellent for being right on the beach and a short walk to Waikiki. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, the pools are nice with a separate adult pool and a separate kids water play area. The grounds are well maintained. A lot of the major shopping and restaurants are within walking distance ( about a mile). We’re already planning our next stay.

This resort is a beautiful and affordable option for military and DOD families. The rooms are nice and have been updated, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. There is an adult pool and a family pool and splash pad just steps away from the beach. An ocean view room in the Ilima Tower gives you views of the beach, planes taking off and landing, and fireworks on Friday nights. We can't wait to return.

We loved it here during our move off the island. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The amenities close by make it the ideal spot for walking distance. The only thing we do not agree with is the break every hour on the hour in the pool for kids. There are 2 adult designated pools and 1 within the larger pool yet they make all the kids get out every hour. If you live on any military instillation this is common but I think that was totally unnecessary with an adult pool in the large pool.

This place is in a prime location with full services and more. This Armed Forces Recreation Center delivers an excellent experience. The restaurants close early but deliver decent food at good prices. The best may be the live music at the Barefoot Beach Bar every night. The only significant problem was the elevators. Due to ongoing work, they were painfully slow.

Awesome location right on Waikiki beach. Next to the Hilton and the Submarine tour. The new pool area is very nice and has a wonderful kids area with a water slide. You can rent a paddle board and enjoy the water or just relax on the beach. I highly recommend this place!

occasion. Hale Koa is an amazing refuge. When we book there, we look forward to fun, sun, relaxation and joy. We have never been disappointed. We continue to feel grateful beyond measure. Our entire family was there March 2020. Our time there filled our emotional resource tanks. Over the last 2 years we have felt so grateful that upon entering the next 2 year, we had our time at the Hale Koa to reflect on, and find joy in that. We are so excited to think, we will definitely go again.

Regardless of what people might say, this place has amazing prices, no matter your rank. The amount of space, immaculate resort grounds, shops, pools and amenities makes this an upper tier resort in Honolulu. The Luau price is wildly cheap and so much fun (and so much food). The pool for children is fantastic, there are multiple adult pools, bars and restaurants too.

Amazing hotel on the beach. Ms. Laura and the dining staff were incredible and very hospitable. Because of my work with veterans, the dining staff sponsored me and this was by far the best breakfast buffet on the island. The lobby is beautiful and truly honors our veterans. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Took my family on the occasion of my daughter’s first Masters degree. We had a blast! The beach is wonderful the adult pool is relaxing and the main pool is amazing. The local travel office had an assortment of great tours. The staff were excellent. The Luau was a great time. We cannot wait until we go again in August 2024.

Love this place! The Hale Koa is an incredible location if you have the eligibility to stay here. This resort literally has everything you need and you'd never have to leave if you didn't want to. The rooms are a bit dated, but they're clean and the beds are comfortable. The concierge desk is awesome and have information on anything you might want to do during your stay. Hale Koa is a little far from the "strip" but that's what makes it nice. It's its own little compound of solitude. Love this place and we'll definitely be back!

Due to the circumstances of the Covid 19 outbreaks the Hale Koa was diligent in making sure our stay was safe and well accommodating. They took care in limiting crowds yet allowing us to enjoy the amenities offered. Our rooms were very nice, and clean. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the pools, bar, and restaurants.

Koko cafe buffet, great choices in a variety for mainland and local folks. Friendly attentive and accommodating staff. The food never disappoints. Safety 1st...no forget your mask each time u step away from your table. Oh and make sure you don't lose your receipt before you get validated at the front of the hotel, it's the difference of flat rate vs. pay by the hour. Tons of covered parking and lots of space to park your bike look left as u pull your ticket. The exit gate takes cards only, if you want the cash payment machines are to the right side of the stairs (or behind the red wall from inside the garage).

This is definately the place to stay for military members and families. The staff is very flexible and user friendly. The rooms are nice . Just remember to read that rooms are available depending on the reservations made. Book your rooms early and be patient . The line is long to check in. Great experience and check out the tours available. It would gave been a 5 star but COVID is in the way.

Stayed here many years ago and it was the best resort on Waikiki Beach for the money. It is strictly for Active and retired military service members. Now we are looking into a place to spend with our grandkids. It is even better than before! With more rooms and restaurants, pools and direct access to the beautiful beach. The staff has been very accommodating and helpful to all our inquiries. We wait with great anticipation for the summer of 2022!

The hotel is amazing! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pools are only open 9-5 and there isn’t any breakfast. It would also be nice to have a microwave in the room. But everything else is great. If you’re lucky enough to get a room don’t look anywhere else and thank me later.

It’s my first time in Hawaii and I loved this hotel that exclusive for military and veterans. They have pools that separate into two section ( for adult where children is not allowed and another section for family where kids can play). Adult pool section is for adult that who wants to relax in a quite place for reading and relaxing while family pool is for family with kids( slides and pool for children is available). This hotel also have bar, coffee place and restaurants.

We stayed in a standard two bed room for three nights. The bathroom and patio are decent sized. The room itself is the smallest we’ve been in at an AFRC location but still very nice and clean. The aquatic center was awesome and our children loved every minute of play at the main pool and the two splash pad areas. There are two adult only pools. The resort has several dining options which were all good and fast. The Luau was wonderful (food was yummy and plenty of it). You can’t beat the location. We look forward to our next visit.

Amazing DoD owned hotel resort, perfect for active, reserve, and retired military and their families. Many amenities, on site exchange, barber, salon, dining experiences, bars, the beachside barefoot bar is amazing and always has live music. Only place I know you can drink right next to/on the Waikiki beach! And always tax free! The luau was awesome! It was expensive but still the lowest cost I could find on the island. Great experience. They have military police patrolling the property to help guide non-military off the premises (in a friendly manner, of course). And you don’t have to be staying at the resort to enjoy the amenities, military are always welcome!

Great location in Waikiki. Good benefit for US Military and families. Reasonably priced. Decent Buffet. Families beware! It is very unfortunate that pools close at 5pm! And the pool snack bar doesn’t even open till 2pm. Times don’t make sense at all. Other hotels you walk by at night you see are still open, but Hale Koa closes up. Disappointment to the entire family. Also found very strange that with only being in room for 3 night stay that they are required to come in the room to do a “bug check” right in middle of stay. As military, privacy is important, but staff has to come into room and go through all drawers and everything. If just for “bug check” why not be able to do it the next day in-between guest reservations? Lastly, had a reservation with the Spa for a couples massage which got cancelled multiple times due to staffing and/or not enough rooms. All in all, service at the hotel was sub-par, except for at the buffet.

This is an awesome place for Veterans to come and relax and enjoy being in a 5 star surrounding in a 3 star budget. Beaches, pools, restaurants and so much more available at a fraction of the cost. I will always stay here when in Waikiki. The staff is spectacular and cleanliness is super. My only disappointment is rooms aren't as spacious and only a single vanity sink.

Awesome things too numerous to list...my favorites were convenience to most things you want to do and my 3yo loves the water park. Room is becoming a little dated, but I'm in my 40s so I don't mind. I also still hate the mandated plandemic mitigations, but that is more iges doing. Over masking affect on mouth, throat, and lung health, and distancing affect on elevators made the trip a bit of a pain.

Cons: 1st time to Hawaii. Paid for full ocean view, got a disappointing partial view. We were a few floors above a roof, everyday at 0800 hammering, sawing and pounding started from construction workers. Beds in the room were rock hard and very uncomfortable. Fridge was hidden in bathroom. Only 1 microwave per floor which was found accidentally by my husband next to the vending machines after 2 days stay. My 7 year old got yelled at and threatened to be kicked out of the pool for walking along the edge of the spa to sit closer to me during the mandatory 15 minute break every hour. Then he was forced to wear a life jacket and have adult present by him while swimming at all times even though he was over 48” tall (per their rules). Pool closes at 5pm. Dumb. This place is not kid friendly. The exchange staff treated us like escaped criminals when asking for ID. Breakfast buffet mediocre, overpriced, and fruit was not fresh. I would compare this buffet to a Hampton Inn breakfast, but at least there the cost was included. None of the staff were friendly and I was made to feel as if I was bothering them. Housekeeping changed bedding only once during our 7 night stay. There were 4 of us in the room and we had to ask for clean towels. Parking is across the street and we were surprised to learn it cost $20/night. No valet, no help with luggage. Had to traverse stairs to get to hotel after parking. Long waits at service desk. Elevator wait times awful and were often too crowded to get on. Friday night fireworks lasted all of maybe 10 minutes. Blah...skip it. Pros: nice location on beach. Beautiful well kept grounds. Not too crowded. Pool area is nice if you can hide from the beach masters who seem the enjoy humiliating and scolding your children publicly for being children and you don’t mind it closing at 5pm. I will not be staying here again.

My wife and I stayed here for a PCS, we used our 60 days of TLA here so all the military people I highly recommend doing this. Great spot on the beach. Great staff. They have a little exchange on the bottom floor that is awesome for cheaper snacks and some cheaper food. The gym is decent. The beachfront is amazing.

Barefoot beach bar! It's still the best place on the beach to get a mai tai and a lava flow! They have greatly expanded this beach bar from my last visit here 3 years ago. It's fantastically huge and still a number one go-to place to hang out!

Absolutely lovely resort! It feels like the resort is built in nature, not through it or on top of it. Tons to do, all of the restaurants that we went to were fantastic, and super easy beach access. The Luau was AMAZING. Seriously a must do if you’re staying. The activities and shows made it one of the top highlights of our entire 2 week, 2 island Hawaii vacation. We had a 48 hour trip before we resort hopped and so we will definitely come back to the Hale Koa.

Great location in Waikiki, we had a lot of fun with the family here. Wish there were more slides available for smaller kids, ours was just too big for the pirate ship but too small for the actual slides. Still had fun though! Friendly staff! Food was expensive but I think that's true of any hotel/resort on the island.

Hale Koa is an excellent hotel with an exceptional breakfast bar 🤪 that you will look forward to every morning. The hotel was very clean and everyone of the staff was very friendly! The restaurant has a wide selection to chose from and an adjoining bar that made delicious cocktails. Our entire stay was wonderful. I highly recommend the Hale Koa Hotel!

Absolutely loved staying here. Entertainment was amazing! Rooms are clean. Gorgeous grounds all around you. Right on the beach. Fire works happen right on the beach outside. My only wish for this place is that a microwave was in the rooms for when you bring back left overs.

We stayed here for almost a week on a staycation and loved it. The rooms deserve 4 stars, but the beach side pool is amazing. Adult pool as well? Oh yeah great place to start!!!

The Hale Koa Hotel (Pronounced; Hali-Koa) is a Military Sponsored hotel under the Shades of Green Program. The hotel is very nice and located in a great location. Even though it's in downtown Waikiki, it's also on a beach. There are several restaurants on property, but for the main restaurants that serves breakfast and dinner, you will need to make a reservation. The food was good but a tad bit on the expensive side. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs and is always willing to assist in any way they can. The hotel is well kept and clean. I would give it five stars. There is also a small PX on the premises. If you plan on taking tours and attending special events it would be advisable to schedule or make reservations prior to your arrival.
