I had an extremely bad experience at this hotel. I checked in late at night and left early morning around 6am. The entire night I was smelling mold and mildew in the room and kept coughing. To protect my health, I checked out early and left the hotel. The hallways smells of mold and mildew too. I had no hope of moving to another room because the entire hotel was nasty. I gave them a feedback and I have not heard back from them yet. I would greatly appreciate a response from management regarding my concerns. Please improve the environment for the health and safety of your customers. It's 2022 and people don't have time and money to spend after such hotels. It's easy to get better customer service, good experience, great hotel room for the same kind of price somewhere else and the competition is huge out there. Lastly, the bathrooms were literally from 1960s. I really hoped I had a better experience, but I it sucked to be there for a night in Hawaii staying at a hotel like this.

I found the room to be acceptable considering the price point. Not fancy but clean enough. Checking in, the front desk staff was competent but spoke very fast making it difficult to understand them. The building is a bit down-at-the-heels but the location is outstanding. Sadly, the noise level from the street is quite amazing. Between the street noise and the noisy air conditioner you will wear ear plugs anytime you wish to sleep. I can overlook a lot of shortcomings in hotel accommodations but I cannot overlook theft. During our stay we lost over $200 in clothes (some brand new with price tags still on) and electronics. Lock your suitcase if you are not in the room! And don't expect management to even return a phone call about it. STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

I highly recommend spending a little more money and not staying at this location. The pictures are incredibly deceiving, and you will receive a dingy, dark and mouldy smelling pad for a similar price of a much nicer hotel across the street at the beach. The cleaners did what they could with what they had, but an exorcism couldn’t save this place. The wallpaper is peeling from water damage, rusty metal fixtures and dust and mould in the ceiling vents. The one amenity we did use was the washer drier available on the second floor of the building. I was assured (due to me being an out of town resident, what hotels are for…) that there is an app to pay for your laundry service. There is, but only partly. The detergent required exact change which I did not have as I am not an American citizen. I took what money I had in my own currency down to the lobby to ask for four quarters, willing to pay them 5x the amount to pay this machine. I was met with snarky replies and a very rude front desk agent who told me he would get fired if he did so. Another hotel guest had to step in and exchange the cash. It was an embarrassing altercation and I was left really unimpressed. Also be aware parking is not free at this hotel. I was met with a hefty $28 American a day charge to park the car which I was not aware of until I got there. It adds quite a lot to the hotel bill. Parking is also first come first serve but you still have to pay. We ended up down the street. Horrible!

Good location as we were within walking distance of everything we needed. Price compared to other hotels was ok. They hit us with a $25/day parking fee for our rental; first time I have ever been charged parking at hotel we were staying at. So much for the better price. Room service didn't show up until late in the day, but were quick to meet our request. Staff was good to work with. I would stay here again.

Nice clean room. I was right next to the pool so it was loud late into the night. (Just something to consider asking about if that will bother you). The little store they had was closed the entire time I was there but there is plenty of shopping in walking distance. ABC store across the street has everything, gifts, medicine, good, and whatever else you might need. The parking was strange. I didn't have a vehicle to park the whole time but my friend visited and wanted to park for a couple hours while we walked around. There was no parking attendant on duty for us to get a parking pass. Overall it is a nice hotel and great option for Honolulu/Waikiki

Had the pleasure of calling the Ramada home for two weeks while on a business trip. It was very clean and extremely quiet - I don't think I heard my neighbors once. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location is excellent - plenty of food options on the same block, and a couple of ABC stores nearby. The pool area was very nice as well. Beach is about a 10 minute walk away. I would stay here again!

Great location across from the Hilton. Room decor a little dated but very clean and comfortable. No breakfast but there are restaurants next door. Paid parking $23 per night in their lot or their overflow lot. Parking attendant will help you. Everyone was very nice.

This hotel is in a good location for food and walking to the beach. The bus stops right outside the hotel and also a few blocks away. Waikiki is a longer walk, but very manageable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Parking on site is reasonable.

Had a pleasant stay on my trip here. As others have stated, you should keep your expectations realistic with this hotel. For the price however I was very pleased to have a nice clean room in a great location. Parking can be difficult since it is small but if you are smart you should be able to snag one. I suggest not staying out too late (6pm or so) with your car or you might need to go to the garage. I did not have any trouble at all and the staff were very courteous and polite. They did provide house keeping as well.

The only thing I hated was that they wanted to see covid vaccination cards - totally not needed any more mid March 22. Besides that all was perfect. Reasonable price for Waikiki - nice room and extremely clean and comfortable- great location- parking -…. Very happy I stayed here and not in a resort hotel. This was just so much more in sync with what we find important while traveling.

It's a simple Hotel that is clean, fresh, and very friendly. The pay to use parking lot had spots available each night. The pool is 3ft to 7.5ft deep with wide steps going down into it. Unlike the big resorts pools it was never crowded (often empty) and had plenty of open chairs to use. Our family enjoyed it alot. We saved alot of money going to this hotel as opposed to the "fancier" and crowded hotels and with that spent that money on the many wonderful activities available in the area many of which are accessible from the Hilton just across the street. Which we often walked too. I recommend getting a room with a balcony so that have a space to spray on sunscreen outside, and more room to move around. During our stay was only $20more a night.

The staff was great an hotel was clean but for a big name hotel this place is long overdue for a remodel. Gym equipment didn’t work and no breakfast or room service available. It was a good price but I should have paid another $50 a day to stay at the Hilton across the street.

Enjoyed our stay, however the decor is very dated and our room had a damp smell. Daily Room service brilliant, fridge was fantastic. Balcony views of the city were great. Air com great but rather noisy. Reception desk very friendly and helpful.

Great place for the price. The rooms were very clean, can’t complain at all. The rooms were a little dated, but didn’t mind because we weren’t there much due to touring Waikiki/Honolulu. Not a far walk to the beach and shopping. No issues getting transportation such as Ubers or Taxis. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel was wonderful. We walk in and smell the fresh pine scent of a live, decorated tree in the lobby. The staff, friendly and helpful. The rooms, clean and large. It is right in the middle of Wakiki with a variety of restaurants, stores, etc within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your resort. They compare countless hotel sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed. This place is hidden gem surrounded by newer hi-rise hotels. Our room was modern and super clean and comfortable. The staff were some of the friendliest I have encountered in all my hotel stays. I would highly recommend this place!

Rooms - Has everything you would expect. WiFi was good enough for both me and my friend to work from the hotel, including simultaneous video calls. Service - Everyone here is SO NICE. Location - This is the real reason why this place deserves 5 stars. As someone who wanted to spend a lot of time in Waikiki AND also wanted to explore other parts of the island, this location is IDEAL. Biking: The hotel is a few mins away from one biki station, with a second station another few mins away. Biki was our main source of transportation to and from Waikiki and it’s a very easy and pleasant bike ride (most of the route is on a bike path). Also not a far ride to Ala Moana Park and mall. I think the $30/ 5 hours ride time is such a great deal. Buses: Bus Route 20 to and from the airport is right outside the hotel. Bus route 60 is at Ala Moana Mall and can take you to North Shore (though it is a 2.5 hr trip). Buses are $3 per person, cash only, or you can buy the bus card (with cash) at an ABC (there’s one across the street). We took the bus several times and it’s a great affordable way to get around - though they do pump the AC so you might want a sweater. All’s this to say, this hotel really made our entire trip so seamless. The people were warm and friendly, the location and accessibility to places was great, and it was everything a standard hotel should be.

Excellent customer service. Pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms had microwave, frig and safe. Location was great, short walk to the trolleys and the Hawaiian village, price was right too. Enjoyed our stay.

The managers Johnny and Bo. They were fantastic. There was an error with my booking and they made it right. I was in Hawaii for a convention and this hotel is centrally located and has easy access to everything you might want to do. The hotel was a perfect for what we needed and if you can get a balcony I would recommend it.

When I'm on a budget and have a layover in HNL, this is my go to. The rooms are very clean. The staff are super nice. Yeah it looks a little bit dated in style but it's not in bad condition. It's a little bit of a walk to the main part of Waikiki but there's a lot of good little places to eat nearby, especially this one Acai bowl place about 5 mins away. Also easy walk to the big mall near by.

My stay here at the Ramada was horrible. The customer service was poor, hospitality was at an all time low, and the quality of the hotel room was nothing like we expected it to be. My dad, my stepmom, and I were planning on staying here for our week long vacation, but unfortunately, things didn’t go to plan. All three of us are vaccinated and we tested NEGATIVE for COVID two times each but were still forced to quarantine in our hotel room. My dad contacted the state of Hawaii and the head of the CDC Administration, and in THEIR own words, the hotel was completely at fault for treating us the way they did. The general manager, Mr. Kevin had a very nasty attitude and was very rude. We spent entirely too much money on this vacation, let alone the hotel itself. So of course like anyone would, we left the hotel on Tuesday, August 31st and checked into a much better hotel. 0/5 stars- would not recommend staying at the Ramada.

Great staff, good location - near the beach and other city attractions but not as busy/noisy as the "big" hotels along the beach. I was in town for work spending most of each day on a jobsite so I just needed a place to sleep, do some quiet work each evening and come/go easily. I found the Ramada quite suitable - clean, well maintained, safe.

Well it’s pretty much a motel in a high rise and with a brand name. Non-smoking room was smelly and toilet was leaking. Front knew that room had issues but I think they did not care and still rented it as is. Security followed you everywhere. Parking attendant was not happy and followed me to the car because i did not ask him before parking. Overall horrible experience. Save your money and go elsewhere even if you have to pay little extra.

Just finished a two night stay at the Ramada Plaza near Waikiki. 5-star stay for the price and the proximity to Waikiki. Gene at the front desk, Linda with Housekeeping and the parking attendant (didnt catch your name, sorry!) were all very friendly and very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again because of them and because of the value. The brunch restaurant, Aloha Kitchen, was within walking distance and the souffle pancakes we tried were excellent.

This is a standard room, nothing fancy, you get a comfy bed, 4 walls a small decent restroom, clean room every day, not over crowded like the big hotels. And the best part , everything is walking distance. This is a perfect hotel if you only need it for sleeping, they also have a small gym, laundry room and a pool with several tables that were always open. Excellent hotel if you just need it to sleep. Parking $23 daily with Wyndham rewards.

Very nice location, walking distance to the beach and shops. Right on the bus line, no need to rent a car, pretty accessible to everything. Rooms are okay, a little small, but I didn't go to Hawaii to spend my time in a hotel room! Staff was great! They helped with directions, extra towels. Attractions & even helped find a place that delivered pizza after an exhausting day at the beach. Great room prices, would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a week. One of the best values in the area. Decor was old but the staff kept everything in tip top shape. Gym, pool, coin operated laundry on site if you need it. Parking is $23/day if you become a "member". Only complaint is the air conditioner, which sounded like a jet engine. We didn't need it too much in March but it would he hard to sleep with the noise in the summer months.

The place was ideally located in the center of Wakiki. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and spacious. Not the most modern but neat and had a cozy feel to it. The area around it felt safe too. Housekeeping was the best!!! I would stay here again! The only thing is be repaired to pay for parking on top of the reservation fee. It was 23 dollars per night. Surprise charge for us, although that seems to be the norm for the area?

We had a great stay there, the staff were friendly, room was great and clean, and The location was great. And near a couple of a couple of bars and restaurants. Definitely recommended.

We stayed 8 days June 2021 and were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. It was very clean, comfortable beds and accommodating staff, the front desk, security guard & housekeeping, all of them! Location was excellent. Close enough for walking to beaches and many bus lines right outside the door of the hotel. ABC store and also tour bus pickup/drop offs right across the street. If you’re looking for a great nights stay at an affordable price, this is the hotel for you!

Good for the trip. I was disappointed the bathroom was not cleaned nor was the floor vacuumed during our stay. When I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned, the front desk was nice and said we will get on it right away. But, it was poorly done. This will need to be done because of the sand, etc. The bed was made everyday with towels provided. Front desk nice people. The owners need to upgrade the rooms. It was walking distance for EVERYTHING. You will not need a car! Bus service was good! I will stay again, but will speak up next time about the poor cleaning of the floor and bathroom. The washer/dryer good. Pool area decent! Plan and schedule ahead for all events before you get there.
