OK,
a
few
things
up
front:
-
There's
no
parking
provided
by
the
hotel
and
it's
a
bit
hard
to
find
even
paid
parking
nearby.
However,
it's
REALLY
easy
to
get
here
on
public
transit
from
the
airport
($3/person
starting
in
July)
or
other
places
on
the
southern
side
of
Oahu.
Once
you're
here,
just
about
anything
you
could
possibly
need
is
within
walking
distance.
If
you're
staying
in
Waikiki
for
a
while,
consider
saving
some
$$$
and
not
renting
a
car
until
you
really
need
one.
-
It's
an
older
budget
hotel.
Nothing
in
the
rooms
is
going
to
be
new.
-
It's
also
a
smaller
building
in
the
middle
of
Waikiki
with
businesses
on
the
ground
floor.
There's
going
to
be
a
bit
of
street
noise.
-
There's
a
resort
fee
of
~$30/night
that
will
be
added
on
to
your
rate,
but
this
is
required
by
law
and
is
standard
for
ALL
hotels
in
the
resort
area
in
Honolulu
(including
Waikiki).
Now,
if
you
are
OK
with
and
plan
for
the
above,
I
don't
think
you
can
beat
the
experience
here
for
the
price.
While
I
admittedly
got
an
exceptionally
good
rate
to
stay
here
($100/night
with
the
resort
fee),
the
room
has
just
about
everything
needed
for
a
comfortable,
budget
vacation
stay
(mini-fridge,
microwave,
kitchenette
with
pots/pans/dishes,
coffee
maker,
etc.).
My
room
was
on
the
third
floor
and
was
pretty
quiet,
but
packing
some
earplugs
to
filter
out
ambient
noise
when
sleeping
would
be
wise
in
any
case.
The
front
desk
staff
were
very
friendly
and
helpful.
Would
definitely
stay
here
again!
