Bring
earplugs
if
you
stay
here!!
On
Friday
and
Saturday
night,
a
club
across
the
street
blasts
dance
music
until
1am.
The
noise
insulation
in
the
rooms
is
bad
so
the
noise
was
incredibly
intrusive.
Plus
if
you’re
by
the
elevators
you
will
hear
them
all
day
and
night.
Staff
did
not
have
earplugs
for
the
noise
and
didn’t
warn
us,
otherwise
we
would
have
happily
prepared
by
picking
some
up.
In
addition,
be
prepared
for
the
additional
$40
daily
amenity
fee.
It
covers
beach
towels,
coffee
in
the
morning
(which
ran
out
by
8am
most
mornings),
a
few
snacks
on
arrival
(which
we
couldn’t
eat
half
of
because
of
allergens),
the
tiny
pool,
etc.,
but
we
didn’t
have
a
proper
water
station
until
half
way
through
our
stay
and
were
not
offered
a
Dole
Whip
sample
upon
arrival.
Plus
the
restaurant
where
you
get
a
daily
$5
credit
did
not
seem
happy
with
us
trying
to
use
it
for
small
takeaway
items,
despite
their
food
being
pretty
expensive.
It
would
be
so
much
better
if
the
hotel
just
absorbed
this
in
the
price
of
the
room,
or
offered
this
additionally
if
you
wanted
to
pay
for
it.
The
rooms
are
tired
but
were
clean
on
arrival.
AC
worked
fine
and
walking
distance
to
all
the
touristy
bits
of
Waikiki
is
good.
The
mini
fridge
worked
for
us
but
the
freezer
wouldn’t
have
kept
much
frozen.
Another
con
is
that
no
fresh
bedsheets
were
offered
during
our
week-long
stay.
Overall
the
experience
with
the
noise
really
drove
my
rating
down.
It’s
not
hard
to
warn
guests
or
just
have
some
ear
plugs
to
hand.
