The location is good, just a 15 min walk to Waikiki beach and many places to buy and eat. The valet parking folks are great, you get your car quick compared to other places. The rooms are a little dated, but the beds are very comfortable...I'd definitely stay here again

I'm staying on the floor with private owners - I'm not sure if these rooms mimic hotel standards but all of the finishes are... were gold (bathroom fixtures, outlet/switch covers) they are all extremely old/tarnished and need to be replaced. I know it seems small but it really makes the rooms feel go from a 4* to a 2*. Paint and deep cleaning would be helpful as well. It's just a lot of money to feel like you need shoes to walk around and shower. There is visible rust and the sink/bath catchers are not being cleaned. Parking is also $38 a day when you stay with a private owner. The location is awesome though!

Pros: The rooms are spacious , clean and have a kitchen area and a nice balcony. The service is great and - you can’t beat the price. It’s truly a great low budget option that still offers a nice clean feel with those delicious clean hotel sheets good AC and blackout curtains. We really loved our room. It’s not too far to walk to things, like a 10-15 minute walk to get to most things in Waikiki. Cons: If you want to be right in the middle or things and super close to the beach, this is not it- Which is probably why you can get a good deal. Not AMAZING views as it’s close to the Green and dirty Ala wai. The pool area feels like someone’s backyard pool, and is on ground floor with apartment buildings surrounding it. Not a great place to chill like other resorts. Overall - definitely worth it !!!

Beautiful hotel. Not a ton of amenities, but you're in beautiful Waikiki! Decent little pool, beautiful Lobby! The front desk was very nice and welcoming. The valet guys.. awesome! They always greet you with a smile on their face. They hold the doors for you like true gentlemen. We've been to a lot of Wyndham locations and this is definitely in my top three. Thanks for the memories!

Fantastic hotel to stay at in Waikiki. Loved the service and amenities. They offered luggage storage and access to the shower and other amenities even after we checked out. Affordable and in a VERY walkable area. Also has nearby scooter rentals if you want to venture a little further. Would definitely stay here again.

A Honeymoon Ruined by Disastrous Management If I could give zero stars, I would. Our honeymoon, which should have been a dream, turned into a nightmare the moment we stepped into the lobby. Imagine the scene: we arrive, hearts full of joy and excitement, only to be coldly informed that despite our confirmed booking, the hotel was overbooked. No room for us. They had not even given us the courtesy of a call ahead of time to figure it out BEFORE we flew in from mainland. This was not just a minor hiccup; it was a catastrophic failure on the part of the hotel’s booking system and management. A honeymoon is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and for us, it was irreparably tarnished. We were left stranded, with no assistance from the staff to find alternative accommodations. Their lack of empathy and responsibility was appalling. The distress and frustration of being left in the lurch without a place to stay is indescribable. There we were, in our most vulnerable moment, and the establishment couldn’t have been less concerned. It’s clear that they overbook without considering the impact on travelers who trust them with their most precious moments. To couples dreaming of a perfect honeymoon: steer clear. Your special time deserves respect and certainty, and from our harrowing experience, I can say without a doubt that this hotel cannot provide either. They might promise you the stars, but they won’t even offer a compass when they leave you lost in the dark. Our honeymoon is a time we can never get back, and this hotel has made it memorable for all the wrong reasons. HORRIBLE doesn’t even begin to cover it. Here’s a picture of me standing in the parking lot on a call for the last 1.5 hours trying to find an alternative.

The lobby is gorgeous and the staff is friendly. The location is also handy, with a lot of things in walking distance. However, Wyndham only owns the lobby and parking garage - the rooms themselves are independently owned and as a result, the company won't be held responsible for misrepresentation or room discrepancies. The room we booked and the online pictures that accompanied the listing were wildly different and did not fit the luxurious atmosphere of the lobby even in the slightest. Be very thorough when you book and call before you make a payment so you can be sure you're getting what you're paying for.

A very clean and well-maintained property. The stuff is super friendly and nice. Many, many thanks to the nice front desk stuff. Especially many thanks to Karla!!! She was super nice and explained all the required and important information about the Hotel and the accommodation benefits. Please be nice and gentle to her and her coworkers. The property offers BBQ, pool and laundry at no cost. By the way If you think car parking is expensive at the place, which I did, please compare it to other places in Waikiki and you will figure it is a fair price for the area. Sure, not cheap but Wyndham does best efforts to make you happy. The property is located close to the main Waikiki shopping street. Again, many thanks to Karla she was very helpful and nice. I wish all hotels would have such nice employees. Remember it is compared to other places in Waikiki a great place and affordable deal. Thank you, Wyndham, for such a nice and rememberable vacation! Keep up the good work!

Loved staying at the Wyndham Royal Gardens. We had presidential suite that was very attractive and appealing. Both the living room and kitchenette were spacious as well as the bedroom. The location was perfect too, close to the bus and trolley. We didn’t need to have a car. Cassidy helped us plan our tours and gave us helpful tips. The service we received from the front desk was outstanding. Whatever we asked for, we got immediately from towels to other items we requested. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful, charming hotel.

Since our arrival we could see how much all staff delivering great service! We appreciate Shane on the registration, he could make a great accommodations for our stay. Wyndham employees provide great activities every day, whatever depends on them we have been pleased. We like the location of this resort, not so crowded as a beach front, but at the same time - easy to get everywhere from the resort! It was great stay!

We rented the 25th floor penthouse for 6 of us and the views were amazing. The 3 rooms were all separated with maximum privacy and all of them had astonishing scenery. However being an air BNB the rooms were little dusty and the jacuzzi had mold+rust on them so we decided to skip that part. They also won't provide towels for the pool since we were booked through air BNB. Overall had a good experience

This is a good hotel to stay with. It is kept clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the amenities are pretty good. Parking is only 38 a day if you have a rental car, which is not bad for Waikiki. The beach is about a 10 or 15 minute walk though, so location is not ideal, but it's still close to to the main Waikiki strip.

I think I found the perfect place to stay during my combination business/pleasure trip to Honolulu/Waikiki Beach. For a great nightly rate I got a clean, spacious room with kitchenette including refrigerator, full size coffee maker (that was key!), microwave, sink, dishes and utensils, paper towels, and dish detergent/sponge; balcony, lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff, nice pool, excellent location away from the craziness of Waikiki but close enough to easily walk to where the action is. Keep in mind this is a vacation club, not a resort, so you won't find restaurants or shops there. Vending machines are about it, but it was easy to find everything I needed in close walking distance: coffee, food, great shopping, convenience stores, lovely markets. I was only slightly envious of my colleagues and their beachfront rooms and balconies, but when I considered how much they paid for that view and the throngs of people that accompanied it, plus a daily resort fee, I was thrilled with my quiet slice of heaven. Mahalo to Shane, Nicole, and the whole staff for a wonderful stay on my first trip to Hawaii.

Beautiful building. Nice clean rooms. Ours is a bit small on this trip, bathroom is RIGHT next to the bed, but it works (can't really do much about the layout in some of the rooms and we're on a corner space so...)...Rooms are very clean and well stocked. We have a little kitchenette with microwave, toaster and mini fridge....Staff are INCREDIBLE. So friendly and helpful and feel genuinely happy to have you on the island...very short walk to the beach and shopping. Lots of local food and restaurants. There's a small pool, a sauna. Outdoor space with grills. Pool table, fooseball....Would absolutely come back.

Great place to visit. The resort itself is in a "neighborhood" but a short walking distance to the main strip for shopping and restaurants. I was a little disappointed that there was no restaurant in the resort but otherwise it was an enjoyable and relaxing trip.

Very nice resort. Very helpful and congenial. They were quick to respond to all the noise on the balcony at 1:00am when I called. I was surprised at the daily charge for taxes!!! Never, Across the mainland, have we had a tax surcharge on our stays at any Wyndham resorts. After the high maintenance costs, this is WRONG!!!

Lovely room with a lovely view. The balcony was an amazing place to relax and enjoy the Hawaiian air. I love the mini kitchen and the bed was very comfortable. Close to shopping, restaurants, and just a few minutes to walk to the beach. Everything was perfect. Thank you! We will be back!

Not a resort, but a nice hotel No. Hot tub, no movies to borrow, pool is small and no hot tub. Our "view room" was a view of hotels. No view of mountains or ocean. We may stay here again, but would prefer to stay where we can see the ocean

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏨 Home Away from Home in Waikiki! 🌴 Our two-week stay at this hotel in Waikiki was nothing short of fantastic. It's become our go-to spot and a true "home away from home" whenever we visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms are clean, spacious, and having a kitchenette was a game-changer. It added a level of convenience that we truly appreciated during our stay. The laundry services were an added bonus, making our long stay seamless and comfortable. We've stayed at a few places in Waikiki before, but this hotel has won our hearts. If you're seeking a cozy and welcoming place to stay with all the amenities you need, look no further. Can't wait to return to our Waikiki haven! Happy travels and Mahalo 🤙🏽

We had a great time staying here. The staff were all so friendly. They helped out a lot with Suggestions and the guys at valet parking were really cool.

The hotel is lovely and in a good location. Has a games room and pool. The staff are terrific, I have to give kudos to David and Mark who work in the Valet area for their wonder customer service.

Very friendly staff, couldn’t have asked for better. We were in the studio room and it’s really your basic hotel room but that’s honestly all we needed because we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. It was clean and had AC, good enough for me! The lobby area was really nice, the valet guys were the best. Probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a “hotel” stay. We did attend the timeshare presentation and the staff was super friendly there as well! We were definitely interested in investing in Wyndham, but unfortunately it’s a bad time for us financially and we couldn’t do it. While they of course try to pressure you into buying, they did it in the most subtle, kindest way, if that’s a thing lol We didn’t leave there upset or feeling uncomfortable and walked away with $125 visa gift card so it wasn’t a bad experience! The location is also walking distance or a short, cheap Uber ride to the busy Waikiki area which is great. The neighborhood next to the resort is a little sketchy but the locals living there have been really nice and we had no issues.

Good location in the heart of Honolulu. So many places you can walk to. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. They might try and force a time share on you. Be careful, the sales agents become quite rude if you turn them down flat.

This was my first investment property. Gorgeous lobby, unlike anything else in Honolulu

Peter was a great host & ee loved his place. The view of the city, canal, & mountains were wonderful & we could see a slice of the ocean as well. It's in an awesome location a short walk from the beach, restaurants, etc.

Awesome place to stay! Walking distance to Waikiki beach and shopping center. Convenience stores on every other corner. Bicycle rentals across the street. Metered parking outside (I think it was like $8 for every 2 hours) and free after 10pm to 6am. Or valet parking at $36 a night. Pool, spa, saunas and BBQ. Pool table in game room.

First place where the service gives you attitude and the manager agrees with them. I was frustrated because the valet kept telling me to move my scooter towards the sidewalk (even though I was a foot length away) when every morning a car was parked there. But God forbid a bike will block the way. He decides to give me attitude instead of being professional and threatens me that they don't have to let me park there. When I tell the manager, she pretty much agrees with them. This place is such a joke. I wouldn't waste my time with this service.

It's a nice hotel but huge dislike about the pool. It is under construction right now and a pool is a must! I understand it happens but they don't go out of their way to make it up to you. A discount, free food or something else. Considering changing hotels.

The concierge lied to get us to sit down on a time share presentation. The concierge told us it was a mandatory check in for covid protocol purposes and that it wasn't a presentation and that the office was just across the street. LIES. We had to walk IN THE RAIN to the other Wyndham closer to the strip and when we got there we were told it was a presentation and it wasn't a mandatory thing we had to go to. We obviously turned the presentation down and walked back to the hotel. Such a terrible way to try to get business. Will never come back and will never patronize a Wyndham again!

Really enjoyed staying here. Large room balcony kitchen. Comfortable place beautiful building and entrance. Beautiful balcony view. 😍 The staff was so kind and 1 guy has beautiful smile at front desk and kind hearted. I told him beautiful smile he said it made his day. He deserved it. They are all helpful and pleasant . 😊

The rooms are very nice, but need a bit of updating. Make sure you bring your own 110v adapter for charging your devices. None available in the rooms. Don't particularly like being charged to park in the hotel parking area.

Great hotel. Half is a hotel and half is private condos. Excellent service and facilities. Free laundry gym pool sauna games room and chill room. Just off the main street in waikiki about a 6 minute walk to all the shops and malls. Great location

  • 5/5 Paloma D. 2 years ago on Google
The staff here are friendly and helpful. The amenities (at least in our room) included a small kitchen area with a sink, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, and dishes and silverware. This is not one of the timeshares where you can cook but it'll definitely help out. It's a comfortable place to crash after a long day.
