I booked at this hotel for a trip in early 2020. However due to COVID I was unable to travel. I was planning to go back to Hawaii when it was safe to so I asked if I could receive credit or a refund and it was denied. I paid for 5 nights and was not to get anything back because of their policies, prepandemic. This place is very inconsiderate. There was no way that i could travel due to the trip being in early March 2020. Everything was locked down. I would have even settled for credit but no they just took my money. Never book this hotel!

WOW the rooms are so clean and this place is so close to International Market/Waikiki. When I had any questions I called the front desk and they were very friendly and helpful! I would book again. Worth the price, it's better than the hotels.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to stay at Waikiki Garden Villa due to the global COVID-19 crisis. However, management at the Villa was incredibly understanding throughout the cancellation process. Even though their policy is only a 50% refund when a reservation is cancelled, they worked with Expedia (the agency I booked with) to issue me a full refund for my stay. I will definitely be staying here in the future when all this craziness dies down and I can finally get out to Hawaii!

I had the pleasure of locating this hotel and had low expectations. What a pleasant surprise! It was a convenient location next to convenience stores, restaurants, shopping, and a quick walk to the beach! It almost felt like a little apartment! The staff was excellent and I felt comfortable the entire time. Sometimes you don't need all the extra bells and whistles when you're staying in paradise. Will definitely revisit!

Booking was easy and the reps were responsive and easy to contact. I will update during and after our stay this weekend! Update: great spot right next to the best udon in the world and the international market (think mall with all your favorite things).

AWFUL place! We booked from WA state and received address and photos of our hotel. When we arrived they told us we were staying a mile away. This put a real damper in our plans. They do not clean at all! It is not part of their service- not sure what all the fees were for then. There was a car parked a foot outside our door at night because of the tight parking spaces. Cash only for parking $30 a night- doesn't seem legit. Bait and switch tactics-show you a nice place and we stayed in what looked like a renovated parking garage in a much less desirable part of town.

Warning! Cancellation will cost 50% of all charges. No refund of the 50% deposit. This includes daily rate, extra person rate, sales tax, and cleaning fee!! I cancelled 3 months before my arrival date. Booked the stay through Travelocity. Learned my lesson the expensive way.

The late check in process was a bit bumpy but even at 1130pm the manager was able to pick up our phone call and guide us in. The room 204 was nice with bathroom, kitchen, and king size bed. The staff catered to our requests but note this is more like an Airbnb than a hotel. Location is superb for city ventures and shops. Would recommend but again have mindset of it being more Airbnb than hotel.

Apartment/condo complex, very clean with daily essentials, laundry on site, free WiFi and perfect spot to walk around Waikiki to Ala Moana. Highly recommend this hotel if you just need a bed and a roof over your head, enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back to this hotel on my next vacation!
