This place was okay. Similar to Mac 24/7, this the reviews for this place I think are higher than I think they should be. The food quality was pretty generic. Service was fine. Make sure you put your name on the wait-list online, as a 1hr wait time is normal for a party of 2. This place has a nice beach view though. Just wish the food quality was a bit better when comparing to nearby restaurants.

Food was ok, nothing great. The strawberry pancakes were *sweet* Eggs Benedict with potato and veggie omelet were usual. The person who took our order warned us about the runny egg in the Benedict, we said it’s not our first time and we are aware about it. Bummer!! the egg was not runny at all. we went there at 11:30 there was a 45 minute wait time. When we reached later the person just told us we will get the next available seat which was… well along 12:45 😕. The food was definitely not worth that wait!

Sweet staff, the restaurant is small but the food is good and that makes the wait long. You can wait list on yelp then when you arrive check in with the host and then they call your name when the table is ready... however from the time you check in to the time seated was 39 minutes. When we put ourselves on the wait list we were #54. When we arrived an hour and half later, we were #6. The downside to eating there was birds flew in the window and it was fine seeing this one bird walk around but then it flew directly over my head and food, which is less than ideal. I thought it was great they had vegan beyond meat breakfast pattys, so good.

I figured I would give them a full 5 star rating. (They did the best they could while working with Covid restrictions while I and my family was there.) It was about an hour and 15 minute wait. (15 minutes earlier than what we were quoted.) I can’t remember what the service capacity was at the time, but I do know they are operating under more strict guidelines because of Covid. Staff was very friendly and professional. Special shout-out to Bryson! Mahalo! The food was very delicious! I would recommend trying one of their signature menu items. The “Hawaiian Loco Moco” is heaven on a plate. Well worth giving them a try!

The long wait is true, but once you're inside you'll see forget about that and will crave anything on their wonderful menu. Their pancakes is where it's at - fluffy, flavourful, and a perfect portion size; the pork chop was also delectable. Pro tip: the wait time is less than expected due to many people not being present for their reservation 😉

Worth the 98 minute wait. Basic but delicious. The Loco Moco it better with a little acid like salsa. Can't go wrong with Hawaiian French toast and an omelet with Portuguese sausage and home fries.

We just had to stop her after seeing those delicious pancakes and waffles served with mile high whipped cream and fresh fruit of your choice. We had about 1hr wait but I’m telling you it’s well worth it. Once seated it went quickly, service was great and the food outstanding. Wife and I shared a basic egg and meat breakfast and shared a amazing thick fluffy waffle garnish with fresh strawberries, blueberries, nuts and whipped cream with chocolate drizzle....OMG deliciousness. Definitely recommend this place

Best meal I have ever eaten in my whole life! Be aware the wait is long! But it is well worth it. The view? Breathtaking! And service is just as good as their food 👌🏼

4.4/5 stars. Sitting along the Waikiki boardwalk is this breakfast mid-century throw-back. Lives up to its name as far as the eggs are concerned. My choice of Portuguese sausage and eggs was a little basic to my liking. Other dishes like the Hawaiian Loco Moco, were tasty and the short stacks were very good. Wait staff were very friendly and service oriented.

Be warned, this place has long wait times around 8-9am but it's worth it. The food was absolutely delicious! The service is also fast and friendly. It has a great view of the ocean and its close to many stores. We put our name on the waitlist and went to do some shopping while we waited, which was about 1 hr. It is a small restaurant and close to all the hotels, so I assume that's why it gets packed, everyone wants to go here. We got the island fried rice, loco moco, rainbow pancakes and the kids waffle. If you have a stroller or wheelchair there is a small area to put it unless someone else is already occupying the space. There are 2 bathrooms in the back but only 1 was working at the time. We were a party of 8, I told the hostess and she put us in 2 tables, which were next to each other.

Great local diner-style place right on Waikiki beach. Very friendly and attentive staff, reasonably priced and delicious food, great cold brew coffee, however.... COME EARLY (before 07:00), or else face a long wait. They have an electronic sign-in sheet which works well. The food portions are generous, if not very large. We went there several times!!! Never needed lunch, until late afternoon. Definitely try variations of eggs and SPAM! :-)

Great food, friendly service. Try the chocolate milk. The Waffles are amazing. Would recommend use Yelp to schedule ahead of time it fills up quick

A few locations on the island. The food is good. It's more of a feeling like a Denny's restaurant. Book ahead instead of waiting in a long line. Somewhat limited in space for people to sit. Overall average in food. The cost of food is decent as to be on the island. You decide. Mahalo.

In my days in Honolulu I've always done my breakfast in Egg 'n Things! It was amazing and very good! Directly from Italy I ate tasty typical American breakfasts! I've tested many kind of panckakes and french toast! :P I'd like to return for sure!!! Workers are very kind and friendly! Gorgeous place in front of Waikiki beach! :) it was a dream, fabulous!!!

Wow this was probably one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had ! Amazing cooked to perfection cheese bacon and spinach omelette. The potatoes were just perfect- crispy and tasted fresh! We did come at around 9 am and there was an hour wait but the Yelp app was very useful (we just went to our hotel room instead of waiting around for an hour outside) . Make sure you go on the Yelp app and check for wait time and add yourself to the wait list ahead of time. We will be back before we leave our vacation for sure for more ! Our server Kent was very nice and friendly!

We loved our breakfast. The portions are large and lots of choices. Prices are reasonable for the area. We ordered the egg omelette with three cheeses and it came with pancakes. Which tasted like real cake. Another plate was the pancake sampler and consisted of coconut, macadamia and pineapple with whipped cream on top. And finally the breakfast burrito the size of your arm. It was packed full of goodness. The most important thing to know about Eggs n Things is: it’s a really small diner, expect tho wait and don’t forget to “self check in” your party.

Fun place, super tiny. We got there around 7pm and it was 20 minute wait. Our entire party was there and we seated. Service was good and the food was delicious. No issues at all. Good food. The potatoes were awesome

Great place for breakfast in Waikiki. This is extremely popular, and you'll generally have to wait to get a table. Food is great, can definitely recommend most breakfasts. On this day we had the scrambled eggs with bacon and potatoes, very good. My partner had the eggs Benedict, and that was also great. Try the pancake stack as well. Recommended!

Amazing breakfast! I had the crab cake eggs Benedict and my wife had the strawberry whip pancakes. It was all incredible. Very fresh. The hollandaise sauce was not too rich, the crab cakes cooked perfectly, and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. And more food than we could finish. It was very busy, I recommend going online and getting on a wait list before going, but well worth it!

2 hour wait from putting name in to sitting down at table. Had Hawaiian bread french toast and their sugar donut/funnel cake things. Both were absolutely fantastic. They stopped taking names on their list around 11am die to wait times. Would suggest trying to get there earlier in the morning

The food was average, nothing over the top, but it was good. There is a waitlist and you can expect to wait about an hour and a half when their not busy or you can expect to wait longer during their peak hours. The service however was pretty nice and the staff are very friendly!

Decent food, not amazing. Prices didn't seem to as bad as some the of the other places but still pricey as to be expected. Wait staff was great and attentive even at the 6am opening. Decent view of the beach. We arrived just before the 6am opening and there was a line but we did not wait to be seated. It is a small building and only has about 12 tables. Of course there is no reliable free parking nearby, so it's more for those within walking distance.

A couple of things. The waiting time is always over 1 hour after 7am. The service and food are excellent. Ms. Morgan, a spartan racer and Bryson ( I hope am spelling it right), just to mention 2 are the best waiters ever. Everyone in the place are excellent. Your cup of coffee is never empty and you will leave with a full belly. One little thing, change your salsa recipe. Is not spicy and we Mexicans like it hot.

Long waits but worth it. Very tasty and unique options.

Delicious super fast breakfast. Really enjoyed the Portuguese sausage. I wholeheartedly recommend getting that if you're interested in pork sausage it had a very nice flavor to it. The potatoes are also really nice they have a good seasoning and crunch to them while still being soft in the middle. The only thing that wasn't that great I felt that the coffee was a tiny bit bitter. Seating inside is also very limited which is too bad. you also have to have someone let you into the bathroom as they have a lock on it so that's kind of annoying, but I guess it keeps the bum bois out of there...This place is usually extremely busy so try to get here right when it opens.

Bryson was awesome! He gave us great recommendations and really took care of our group. Get the Loco Moco!!!! I cannot state this enough. We made the mistake of going to other touristy Loco Moco spots and the Loco Moco here just blew it out of the park. If you're feeling indulgent, the Mac pancakes, Mochi Waffles, and cappuccinos will hit the spot. The price here is extremely fair for the area the restaurants in and the quality of the food was superior to other places.

There's a reason people start lining up at 5:30 am to get in when they open at 6am! The food is that good! They are only open until 6am-1pm and the line is ALWAYS long, so send someone early to get in line, then have them msg you when they're getting close, because everyone in your party needs to be there before they'll seat you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Had the Salmon Benedict & Crab cake Benedict, sooooo good and totally worth standing in line for. I recommend going early. 530 maybe sooner, because the restaurant is small and fills up quick. They close at 2 and I'm telling you, great food. You get big portions and the fruit bowl is fantastic. Stop in!
