I love their Poke Sampler. It allows me to get the variety of flavors, and their fish is so fresh that I can buy it and have awesome meals over two days. I usually buy the poke sampler in the late afternoon and take it home to make a homemade poke bowl for dinner, and then another one for lunch the following day. I make the poke bowl with rice from, The Rice Factory. I also prefer eating my poke with room temperature or cool rice instead of hot (I don't like the thought of the poke getting cooked). The service is also top notch. Always cheerful and friendly! The one bad thing about Off the Hook is having to wait so long in line - the downside of having a great product. :-). The strategy of buying the poke sampler late helps avoid this problem; where I can pick up the sampler when it's less busy. Just make sure to call ahead of time to reserve one.

Not sure why there's such a huge hype here.. a 4.8 rating in September-22. I found this place with Google's recommendation and the experience was a total disaster. If you’re going based on the google rating, I advise not! I didn't enjoy any of the food here. Staff recommended the cold ginger ahi and the spicy ahi. The cold ginger ahi was the worst flavor I had on the poke in Hawaii, it was too gingery, and I am not sure anyone would enjoy the green sauce. Who likes deep deep ginger flavor anyway? The spicy ahi flavor was definitely better, but if you think about it, the spicy ahi flavor is also a strong kind, and most poke places do this flavor well because you just need to make a strong flavor. Foodland’s or Donquijote’s spicy ahi flavor is as good as theirs and they sell it at a lot cheaper than this poke market. Both flavors were too strong, especially the ginger one, that I thought they even could’ve used bad quality fish because any fish smell will be hidden by the ginger smell. This is a take-out poke shop so you need to eat food in your car or bring it to your hotel. As soon as you take out poke and let it sit in your car for a bit, it will be even worse. We ate in the parking lot and it was still not tasty. Their pricing isn’t cheap either, two large bowls and half-pound poke were over $50 before the tip. I’d stay away from this shop at all costs.

The thrill of trying this highly rated poke spot in Manoa was exhilarating! I had to try the Hawaiian style and my usual, the spicy ahi— the fish was chill atop a bed of sushi rice with all the toppings, and the ahi would just melt in your mouth with every bite! The whole meal was an umami of flavours and the right amount of savoury and spicy. You can opt for a small (mini) $13 or regular size ($15) with choice of white, brown or sushi rice, or salad. I’d highly recommend making a trip here if you’re looking for fresh poke with big portions!

I truly would give this more of a 4.4 stars… i love the toppings and poke is full of flavor. But some were slightly salty. One of the poke I ordered was amazing. Not sure what it was called but it had a whitish creamy coating.

There’s a lot of poké places on the island, some more popular than others but wow does this place deliver and so much more! You HAVE to try Off The Hook, it’s next to our favourite smoothie spot so do that as well. The Spicy Ahi and Cold Ginger Ahi was amazing — so fresh, no fishy taste, and the free toppings had us dreaming about it that we intend on going back every day during our trip.

Love everything nice and friendly service, quick too. Lines right now are long though but all good worth the wait. My wife's favorite is Hawaiian style, the Ginger and Japaneses style is mines over some sushi rice (poke bowl style). I always either get a Wasabi Tako or Kilauea on the side if you want spicy. I would definitely recommend to anybody hit em up if you in Manoa, It's GOOD!!!!

This place has literally the greatest poke I have ever had. So fresh and full of flavor, they really keep it about the fish and yet still have some amazing sauces. Spicy Ahi is one of my favorites that I get a 1/4 lb of so I don't overload on Mayo. Truly they use a great balance though. The one here is ginger and half Hawaiian style and it's so incredible, hard to decide between shoyu. They're all so amazing, I get it each time with all toppings and ask for extra furikake. They do have a sampler of 9 different poke I believe, grab it early if you want an adventure. The beverages are too sweet for me but they have several. There is usually a line unless you go early. There is no seating, to-go only and worth it!!! If you love poke you better stop here! I dream about it often. Mahalo Off the Hook

Cold Ginger Ahi is one of the tastiest and most flavorful poke I've ever had and we've been eating a lot this trip to Kauai and Oahu. Hands down the best so far! Small local place with big lines during lunchtime but so worth the wait! Going back again before we leave, for sure!

This place is only for takeout! They keep the poke’s more simple than what I’m used to, BUT the flavors and food was SO good!! Definitely recommend!

The best poke I ever had in Hawaii. I would recommend you to try cold ginger ahi poke. The cold ginger tasted like ginger scallion you got when you eat Chinese chicken. The best combination

Yep definitely great poke. I tried pretty much everything on the menu and would recommend it to anyone visiting oahu. I went 15 mins before opening and was about 5th in line. Line moved fairly quick.

Got the regular sized, with Hawaiian and spicy ahi poke over a bowl of salad. The portion size was big! Great deal for $15 and probably one of the best poke places I've been to as a local. Definitely going back!

Best poke we’ve had. We tried almost all of their pokes - our favorite was the wasabi furikake. All of the fish was high quality and the cuts were quite large. Everything was noticeably fresh, too! This is a must try.

Nice poke market providing a sampler box for inexperienced poke eaters like myself. Lots of really fresh fish served in delicious sauces. The various flavours didn't blend together well. Would go for a single poke in future.

We love poke here. The place is so humble, just a window to order, no seats. Fresh ahi poke, well marinated. We enjoy our Spicy Ahi and Miso Ginger Tako. Price is higher than some places just a bit. Overall, worth our drive.

Whenever I’m in Manoa I have to get poke from here. Always a wait outside, but for a good reason. The best poke I’ve had in Hawaii. Only a walkup counter so order fast! 30 minute wait from the corner is worth it.

This is a local food restaurant. It is only available for takeout, but the taste and quantity are very satisfying. If you want to eat poke on Oahu, I highly recommend this place. There is no parking lot, but there is a shopping mall in front, so it is convenient to park. Even if there are many waiting customers, they are all for takeout, so they will be gone soon, so you don't have to wait long.

We read some reviews and really wanted to try their sampler platter; I guess we got lucky because we got the last one in their case. Staff was awesome and poke tasted awesome! Spent $47.63 total.

I looked at some of the reviews and I am truly struggling with how anyone could give this place less then straight 5's. We knew we only had 5 days to travel to my favorite place on the planet (North Shore, Oahu) and wanted to make every meal count. After 12 hours of airports and flying, we were starving and our research had clearly shown this was one of the best poke options on the island. There is no place to sit as it is exclusively take-out but once you taste the poke you don't care if you are eating it in your car (as we did). Beyond the lack of a fish smell, you can tell that what we were eating today was swimming in the Pacific either yesterday or early at that morning. It was absolutely delicious. my wife did two scoops of the Cold Ginger Ahi and I did the Cold Ginger Ahi and the Spicy Ahi. We both did the Sushi rice. It was an absolute delight to the taste buds. We both loved it and will definitely go back on our next trip.

This is THE BEST poke I’ve ever had. Super fresh and the taste is unmatched. Parking is very limited at this location but there is a larger parking lot across the street. This is a takeout only place and 100% worth it. Service is super friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have. Please do yourself a favor and just go here.

Truly the best poke I've ever had. I had the Hawaiian Style and the Cold Ginger and I feel like they compliment each other well. The staff is super friendly and patient, willing to answer questions about the food. We had this our second day on the island and it was also the place we chose to eat before leaving for home because it was incredibly tasty. I'm going to need to wait a long while before eating mainland poke because nothing will compare.

One of the best tasting and freshest poke bowls I’ve had on the island. Asked for staffs favourite and she delivered! Huge portions and so flavourful. Wish there was seating, this is a pick up at the window style shop.
