Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Nice place to chill out with kids or not, hold parties, space jumpers etc. Basketball courts, benches, playground, some homeless but they don't bother you and they post on sidewalk. Not alot of parking, lucky if you find a street spot, you can park on side streets. People often mention park, kids, playground,

There arw a few park beaches under the trees but not too close as to get bunch of bugs. Good place for kiddos

You can watch for the giraffes from here. Great place for a picnic or playground time with kids.

Decent playground under the shade and has restrooms. There was one homeless person screaming nearby but he didn't bother anyone.

The playground appeared to be newer or at least better maintained, no graffiti. There was a bathroom there, but some of the other parents were saying that a homeless person hit one of the kids inside so a bit sketchy.

One of the somewhat decent parks on Oahu. I see the occasional dum-dums who still wear masks outdoors though. Stop muzzling your kids!

Nice place to enjoy and play with kids or grandchildren, too. Seems to be well maintained. Close to the beach if you want to do that. Tends to have a breeze coming off the beach area makes it even a nicer experience.

Awesome park. Great shade and the people whom we met were nice. Restrooms were kept clean and with t.p. the playground is great with soft foam base and sturdy equip. There are giraffes right across the street from the park so you get a sneak peak every once in a while. We highly recommend this park.

Rating parks is hard, unless it's extraordinary in some way. This one isn't. it's just a park. A nice park, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There are public restrooms, and they're usually pretty clean, though a bit dingy and stained (it IS a public park bathroom after all). The playset structure is cute, and the kids I see playing there appear to enjoy it. It seems like there might be a core group of parents/families that meet up and hang out over on that side. Everyone has been friendly whenever I cruise through. I once saw what was either a breakdancing class, or club?, practicing in the covered concrete area by the building. That was pretty cool to watch. I'm not sure if they meet regularly or not. The only drawback (and I admit that it is actually really silly) is that the seed pods falling from the trees can be startling. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they were whipping them down on us as hard as possible for funsies. It makes my otherwise super chill Mastiff mix a bit jumpy and skittish. "Mean" trees is a dumb reason to ding an otherwise perfectly nice place, so that's why 5 stars.

Fun park and your kid always find his class mates or random kids to play with. Awesome climbing trees as well!

I love that it is so near and the fire station is literally next to it. The only thing I don't like about this park is that the light post are not working and the ones that are are barely lit. The restrooms needs to be clean too. The bonus is you can hear the monkeys doing monkey business and see the giraffes

This park is absolutely beautiful!! It has a huge open feild with a few picnic tables, a restroom in the center and a small playground on the other side. You have a clear view of the diamond head crater along with a beautiful view full of green lushness.
