I grew up in Kahala, played at this park and visit it several times a month. My mother planted a Banyan tree at 745 Hunakai street in 1953...its still there and big as life. Our house was one of the 1st in the neighborhood when Farmers road still has chicken farms on it. Love this neighborhood...

Nice complex w tennis , a playground for kids, and softball fields. The fields need attention, very rough playing surface. Worried about injuries due to field conditions.

Nice playground equipment, benches for parents to sit down on, no public restrooms.

I feel like this is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods on the island of oahu. If I could buy this house in the picture I would there are definitely bigger houses around but this one is super classy and Just plain awesome!

Went to Kahala Elementary in the 80's and the park & rec center will always feel like home. Still hasn't really changed in 40+ years.

Just went there to watch a dear friend play a flag football game all girls all soon to be lawyers against real lawyers , the soon to be lawyers killed the lawyers I think it was 47-7 . They had football jerseys with there names on the back , so I'm thinking league of some kind ? No it was just one game they have done this a few years now this year no one got hurt bad I heard last year someone got a shoulder out and one got a head injury sad playing flag football but it means they took it seriously and this year was pretty good for lawyers that is , I've been to this park only two times , this being my second and the first time was about 18 yrs ago to watch a friend's son play a Pop Warner football game, it hasn't changed a bit that I can see it's very nice and the lawn was in great shape well keep was the whole place no litter no dog poop just family's having fun .Great place to watch a fun football game .

No follow-up with parents of children supposed to be attending classes and then my son was turned away after trying for a second week to attend class because he was "too far behind". He was sick the first week and then wasn't picked up from A+ for the second week and he and his A+ leader couldn't find where he had to go. He's been begging to go to this class for two years. He was too young last year and had a conflict last term so we were so excited that he would be able to attend this term. Now this. There are only two other children in the class so I am not sure why he couldn't have been helped to catch up. UPDATE: The teacher called me back and said that she would "tutor" my son individually until he could join the class. Thank you!

This park is situated in a thriving community, just a couple of streets off the Kahala Mall. Very well maintained, it boasts a baseball field and resurfaced courts, one volleyball, and two tennis.

Daughter goes to the near by preschool and when there's baseball there is no parking to pick up our kids. Very inconsiderate as they don't pay attention to the signs that say loading zone either.

Love this place. Good place to go just to clear your mind and go for a run or to have lunch or just to simply sit under the trees and have some cool breeze blowing on you as you read a book...great place to bring kids too.

Great views from this park. They should add another set of bleachers though.

A nice park in the Kahala neighborhood next to the elementary school. A jungle gym is also available for use. Not to be expected in the east side atea, but like most public facilities, the park seems run down and uncared for. The main pavilion is old and the restrooms are in need of maintenance. The field is uneven and dangerous for youngsters who can easily lose their footing when playing soccer or baseball. Tennis courts and basketball courts are available but in desperate need of care and resurfacing. Although I reside in near proximity to the park, I will choose to go elsewhere due to the aformentioned issues.

Very clean large well manicured park. Something for everyone. This park even had places to just sit and rest, something that seems to have been removed from just about every other venue in Hawaii.

Great community park with courts both tennis and BB. Located right in the heart of Kahala.
