WOW. We booked the Halepuna for 6 nights to celebrate our honeymoon. From the moment we drove up to the property we were kindly greeted by the valet staff. They truly set the tone for a very welcoming stay. The rest of the staff is also so warm and welcoming! Hotel exterior and interior is gorgeous. The rooms were clean and modern. We loved to relax on the balcony every morning and evening, a great way to start/end the day. Book the especially for you package as it's great value for your money! We took advantage of the breakfast buffet at the Halekulani across the street... breakfast was fresh and so delicious. And the views were incredible! Location of the hotel is very central to shops and restaurants around the area. Also the beach is just steps away! I highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return in the future

We recently stayed for 6 nights in an extremely clean ocean view room on the 14th floor. Everything was wonderful! ALL of the employees that we interacted with were very warm and welcoming. We spent Easter morning at the beautiful pool with a friendly pool attendant. We had a rental car for 2 days and the bellhops remembered us whenever we parked or even walked by. Check-in, check-out and requesting housekeeping was so simple. The location is so convenient to plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a beautiful view of the ocean. We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is amazing! My husband and I stayed there for 8 nights and I can tell that nothing disappointed us. Staff are the most kind ones, the food is spotless, and cleaning and valet staff are awesome. Every time I returned to the hotel, I got this feeling that I arrived in a spa, a very calm atmosphere (very different/rare compared to other hotels in the area) that brings peace immediately. The pool is also great, I just wished they had a complete food & drinks service which was not possible due to the pandemic. I will definitely go back soon!

My family travelled to HI November 30 through December 7 2021. We stayed at Halepuna… and can I say I was overjoyed with my stay. I can’t express how the staff was really pleasant, courteous and friendly. From housekeeping to the front desk staff. I want to thank Wendy (front desk) for her hospitality and her endless efforts informing us of places to attend and dine. She was AWESOME!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!The rooms are just as you see them in the pictures. Clean, spacious, awesome views from the beach the ocean to the mountains / volcanoes. The furniture was modern the beds slept heavenly and the bathroom was modern with bodees. The infinity pool and the gym facilities was nice and clean (as you see in the pics) The Halepuna was just minutes from the ocean but tucked away from the hustle and bustle (which I preferred) but minutes from shopping. Everything was literally walking distance. I highly recommend this gem.. you will not be disappointed.

MY FAVORITE HOTEL STAY EVER. The staff were incredible and so welcoming! Special shout-out to Princess, who was able to help me get my wedding dress steamed in time for my wedding. (She was also super sweet!) Also, the valet staff were so welcoming as well! They would always greet my husband and I so excitedly - they even remembered our names! Lastly, the room was perfect! We had an ocean view room and we were in awe of the view. We spent so much time finding the perfect hotel to stay for our wedding, and I’m glad we stayed here. Thank you!!

What an amazing experience at this hotel 🏨. By far, a five star experience from the service (going as far as offering free Apple TV for our room!) to the rooms themselves. At arrival, my partner & I were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff; Gunn in particular was incredibly helpful with tips for local attractions to visit. The pool staff were also fantastic. There was an incessant with an incredibly loud/ misbehaving child and the staff handled the situation quickly, with grace and professionalism. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to couples and families looking for a relaxing and quiet holiday experience. Thank you for great service! Note: there is no food served at the hotel however the resort is surrounded with copious amounts of restaurants and food outlets to choose from.

Great hotel. Great experience. Tuesday evening managers wine event was a treat. The bakery was a stop for us almost every morning. Great to go salads for the pool. Pool service was fantastic. They were attentive and helpful and super friendly. Front desk staff was super helpful and friendly, always answered our questions and shared local advice. The two water bottles that were complimentary were great to use on our trip. Loved the fill up stations. They were even great for adult beverages to keep cool! Ocean deluxe room was worth it. The beach pics were of the area directly in front of our hotel.

Truly outstanding property in Waikiki beach. Rooms are somewhat small, but hey you’re in Hawaii so you really only use the room to sleep and shower. Very much a boutique type feel hotel. Beautiful decor throughout the property. Fabulous bathroom with deep soaking tub and gentle cleaning bidet’s on the toilets. Our 12th floor ocean view room did not disappoint! Exceptional service from every single staff member we encountered. Carl at the pool was especially helpful and friendly. The breakfast package that came with our stay was fabulous. It’s served at their even more upscale sister property across the street. I loved the Halepuna and you will too!

We stayed at the Halepuna for 6 nights with a 2.5yr old. From the design to the staff 5 stars is not enough. Before check in, we requested an early check in and a room on the 8th floor with the larger balcony so our son can play and we can relax when he naps. Our room was ready when we got there and the balcony was amazing, we were right next to the garden which was perfect for relax and play. The room was IMMACULATE, clean and beautiful interiors, bed and linen were so comfy. The room had a nice fridge, coffee machine and kettle. Each day it was serviced early and quickly. The pool is beautiful and clean. Filtered water machines everywhere and complimentary water bottles just added to the ease and sophistication of the hotel. If you’re going to the beach, don’t bring a beach bag as they supply one. I mean you couldn’t ask for more. The bakery was delicious and the staff were just so helpful, always smiling, throwing shakas and an aloha every time you walked by anymore. The location is great! 2 min walk to a small beach or 5 min walk to the bigger beach, right next to the lewers st and royal hawaiian Centre. This is by the far the nicest hotel in this price bracket in Waikiki. Don’t hesitate to book here, you won’t be disappointed.

This place is a GEM and will be our go to place to stay any time we are in Waikiki in the future. The hotel has a calming vibe, the rooms are very modern and recently renovated and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved having breakfast every morning at the restaurant downstairs and the fresh baked pastries were DELICOUS as was the fresh squeezed juices available each morning. The hotel is tucked away enough that it is quiet at night and you don't get the influx of tourists just wandering through but you are just steps away from all the restaurants and shops. It was super easy to access the beach as well. We rented a cabana at the pool for one of the days we just wanted to relax and it was perfect and the Lava Flow I had there was the best I've had anywhere in Hawaii. We booked a Waikiki View Room but we had a fantastic view of the ocean as well, which was a great surprise. Can't wait to come back here!

For your reference, I’m writing this review while staying at the hotel. I have absolutely enjoyed the experience up until now, but this gentleman working the front desk this morning absolutely ruined it for me. I had a quite a few clothes to wash after staying on the island for a week; I was wondering if I could attain any assistance from the hotel as I am staying on the top floor and the laundry detergent was available only at the front desk which means a trip from top to bottom of the building with two full bags of clothes and also to the floor where the laundry room is. I called the front desk and politely asked if it is possible to maybe bring up the detergent to the 8th floor(where the laundry room is) only to hear “you can get the detergent at the front desk” in a snappish tone. A simple “sorry ma’am, that would not be feasible.” Would have been appreciated. I would understand such response if I was staying at a motel 8, but not at a 4 star hotel. I would have given 1 star if it were not for other staff who were kind and amazing(especially Davide at the front desk. You’re the best!).

My favourite hotel in Waikiki. I only stayed one night but will definitely stay again. Not having to pay any amenity fees was glorious, especially when the hotel actually has worthwhile amenities. I loved being able to chill at the pool, swim, have some drinks and snacks while I waited for my room. The gym is small, but decent and has the needed equipment for a quick workout. The hotel is super clean and the room was comfortable, spacious, and bright. Staff were professional and very friendly and helpful. Also great that i could go to Halekulani restaurants and bars and just charge back to my room. Access to the hospitality suite was great as I needed to work after check-out with a late evening flight. Definitely recommend.

Loved our stay by far the best experience we had. We stayed for 2 nights and chose the early check in and late check out package. The staff here is exceptional. The rooms were so clean and our view was beautiful. Everything is conveniently located near by. The beach and the stores are steps aways. I definitely want to come back here again. The rooms are bit on the smaller side but I promise you, you won't even notice it. They really know hospitality.

We were looking for a refuge of sorts before tying the knot. A quiet, elegant and minimalist hotel that would keep us calm before we got married. This hotel was just that and more. The three high-speed elevators ensured people did not bombard us; in fact, we often felt alone. The hotel is elegant, intimate, minimalist, artistic and extremely clean, making it even more thrilling to be in a heavenly place. I would have stayed here my entire trip and wish I had! The only downside is no breakfast place on-site serving elevated cuisine so that is my one challenge. I love this hotel and hope in future to return. Thank you for giving us a quiet room on a high floor with an ocean view - just simply divine.

Wish I could stay here forever. Top tier service, super clean, wonderfully friendly staff, and so many amenities! The Hospitality room was beautiful and I was able to take a work video call , so wifi connection is strong! The pool was was dreamy and also had wonderful service there, too! I can't say enough about them! Every time I look at my complimentary water bottle, I wish I was there again!

Stayed here for a week. This place is terrific. Location is great. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The entire building is clean, quiet and well taken care of. Rooms are well outfitted. The pool/bar is awesome and the staff there go above and beyond. We will without a doubt be staying here again on our next trip back!

Lovely hotel. Used to be the Waikiki Pac, and an old favorite. The hotel has been completely renovated and upgraded. Unfortunately, the price more than tripped. Staff are amazing, rooms are of the same old footprint and are on the smaller side but have everything you need. The location is super convenient with no resort fees.

Stunning hotel in a great location! Short walk to the beach and tons of shopping and restaurants. The service was fantastic. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped us plan excursions. Room was smaller but beautiful, clean, and had a nice view. The rooftop pool and hot tub are beautiful with a view of the ocean. Bar included and plenty of lounge areas. The whole floor that the pool is located on has plenty of places to change, relax, charge your devices, etc. on checkout day when you no longer have your room and waiting for your flight. I hope to be back!

An exceptional hotel in an excellent location. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Our room was tidy and it was serviced perfectly. Everything else about the hotel was immaculate. A five star experience and we would definitely stay here again next time we are in Honolulu.

Our stay at the Halepuna had it's ups and downs; you're greeted with somewhat chilly chic lobby, but the front desk staff were great especially Noah who set up couple of activities for us and was great to get to know. The room was amazing with floor to ceiling windows and full view of the ocean. As well as the 8th floor infinity pool, great view of the ocean while getting some sun. Breakfast was lame, fixed menu with limited choices. Find a better place. On one occasion we were going go to the Halekulani to sit poolside...main towel folder Doug told to finish our drink as we weren't allow at this pool a need to leave. We enjoyed our stay but would recommend a different hotel to get the Hawaiian feel.

Absolutely amazing. I cried when it was time to leave. I stayed in an ocean view room on the 22nd floor and it was perfect. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are amazing, and the facilities wonderful. I can't wait to get back there. Fifty stars out of 5

The room is super clean and beautifully designed. I love the in-room equipment - bidet, automatic curtain and blackout curtain, and remote control of the lights. Due to COVID, they also paid extra attention to the details of cleaning an providing guests clean supplies, and overall services were great. The bakery on the first floor was just AMAZING and probably one of the best I've ever visited! The location of the hotel is also great and very easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and stores. We'll definitely stay again next time when we visit.

I loved our stay at Halepuna. Service was great, the room was clean and perfectly appointed for our stay. We got lucky enough to get on the 18th floor and had an unobstructed ocean view. The balcony was great to relax on. The pool and pool staff were a delight. I didn't expect the pool to be as nice as it was but it was amazing, 8th floor infinity pool and hot tub with a great team handling chairs and towels for guests. Truly enjoyed all the nice technology in the rooms too, the light switch controls, the charging cables, automatic blinds, the toilet was just amazing with the heated seat. Loved how the lobby area was simple, only thing I needed was the ability to buy coffee that was not drip, but I think the coffee shop isn't open yet? We used valet parking and our car was always ready for us. This location is truly a hidden gem in Waikiki.

Very new hotel (I think it opened October 2019), great location, and not too crowded and noisy. Boutique vibes. The rooms are veryyyy clean and have sheer/blackout shades (motor controlled), so great privacy too. Front desk and bell desk staff are super nice and sweet. 🥺 they greet you with a big smile everyday and would try their best to help you out with anything. I feel very welcomed here every time I come back. 😊 I know this hotel is not the closest to the beach, but it’s literally a 2.5min walk and I can totally compromise it with all the other great things I get. 😜 Will definitely come back to Halepuna next time thank you for such a great experience!🥰

Just returned from 8 nights at the Halepuna! What a fantastic hotel. Where to begin, very nice hotel, boutique in scale, very clean, excellent staff. We were on the 20th floor ocean view - simply stunning! Very comfortable room. A small bar fridge is included and so good to have! Great pool area, exercise facilities and more. The bakery/restaurant is not open yet, but, because it’s a Halekulani hotel, right across the street is the resort you can use with excellent dining and pool area, direct access to beach. We have been to Waikiki 5 times and absolutely will only stay at a Halekulani property! If you are on the fence where to stay, I highly recommend you book here! 🤓

The staff is amazing and truly hospitable. They are attentive and really bring to life the meaning of Aloha (welcome and love). Our room was beautiful and well maintained, many thanks to the housekeeping staff. The infinity pool has a gorgeous view of the ocean. The garden became our favorite spot to eat lunch. The location is exceptional, close to everything! Thank you, Halepuna Waikiki for making our 14th anniversary amazing!!

Great stay. Spacious well equipped room, super comfy bed. Great location right next to the beach. Excellent service from all the staff. Came here for the back half of our honeymoon and they were very gracious with some complimentary bottles sent to the room. If we ever come back to Honolulu this is where we will stay again.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Halepuna! The rooms are comfortable and amenities are thoughtful. The location is fantastic—just a few yards to the beach and close to everything Waikiki has to offer. Everyone working at the hotel was incredibly kind and accommodating and the housekeeping staff was very helpful. I am grateful we stayed here and will definitely be trying to return!

Our stay at the Halepuna was excellent. When my friend booked our trip, I was NOT very excited about going to Oahu again. Last time I visited Oahu, Honolulu and Waikiki were filled with homeless people and filth. I was pleasantly surprised this time around and The Halepuna only made our trip more enjoyable. The staff was second to none. RJ and Myles were absolutely WONDERFUL! Very knowledgeable about activities and the surrounding area and so incredibly kind. The hotel is very clean and in close proximity to restaurants and shopping. They provided beach towels and Boogie boards FREE of charge. When I slammed my toe into a curb and was bleeding everywhere, in less than 5 minutes, the staff had bandages and ointment at our door. I would say the only, minuscule issue was their restaurant was closed for renovations, therefore there was no room service. Other than that, we had a fabulous experience at the Halepuna. I was ABSOLUTELY stay there again.

The hotel is spotless and exceptional in customer service. The rooms are standard in size but beautiful decorated with high-end modern furnishings. I highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at the Halepuna!! The hotel and rooms are just beautiful! I could tell it was very newly renovated. The staff was absolutely wonderful from the door man, to the front desk, the maid service, and the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and so convenient, we could get a hot meal to go or stay and eat in the restaurant. The juice was was all fresh squeezed and so delicious! They have water refill stations which I liked, and they provide each guest with a nice, aluminum water bottle. The location was perfect, shopping and dining were a stones throw away and the pool looks out at the ocean, it was so beautiful! We had such an amazing stay and would definitely stay here again!!

I wanna copy Erin Hansen's comment down below because it is all true. We went to 3 islands and this hotel although the smallest, was the one we felt the best taken care of and the most welcoming. Their services is outstanding, bell guys where amazing at all moments, pool staff also was amazing, the equipment in the room was great with the automatic black out as well as toiletries, you would have anything you needed right there in your room, we also got reusable water bottles which we totally loved and carried around for the rest of the trip. You can tell they are very serious about covid prevention as everything is marked cleaned. Room was new, spottles clean and location although on a small alley, very close and walking distance to everything you needed. They truly made a memorable trip and have that wow factor that business trainings or books talk about. Congrats to all of the staff and leadership for this excellent service. And of course, bakery is out of this world, you should definitely try the Dijon bacon bread, amazing!!!

We had a 4-nights stay at Halepuna and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Wendy was so helpful and kindly upgraded us to an ocean-view room which was absolutely stunning. Everything in the room was so clean, beautiful and high-tech, and their lobby was just like an art gallery. Their breakfast was also delicious and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch and I couldn’t find any fault, even a tiny one. My only regret was that I couldn’t visit their bakery more than once due to it being closed on Monday and Tuesday. Their cream pan was really something to die for 😋 We originally wanted to visit Halekulani but it was closed due to renovation. But Halepuna definitely exceeded my expectation. This is hands down my favorite hotel out of all I’ve visited so far ❤️ Will definitely go here or their sister hotel when I’m in Hawaii again!

Convenient location that was easy to get to since it's on one end of the strip. Service was very friendly and we felt comfortable with all of the precautions they took to keep everyone safe from Covid. The restaurant and bakery were great places to get a bite to eat which we usually ended up taking out to eat on the beach. The towels they give you come with a cooler bag to borrow for your stay. It was the perfect size for our refreshments and a nice touch.
