This store is the poster child for rudeness, incompetence and racially biased sales people ( and I use the term "sales" loosely). African-american customers are not welcome here and the employees are not bashful about making it known to the customer, especially at the cosmetic department. My wife and I stood at the Chanel counter waiting for service , while the sales girl completely ignored us , gave my wife a dirty look ,and gave her full attention to white customers only. It was the same experience with the Lancome and other sales counters. We could not believe this overt racism. It's clear that Macy's management tolerates this behavior and may even encourage it. I guess the employees at this store think that because they work in Kahala that they are special and don't have to show courtesy to African-american customers. We will not shop there again and I encourage others ,who abhor racism, to shun Macy's as well.

Steve at Macy's shoe department was very nice and knowledgeable. Explained return policy made sure my shoes were the correct size and matching. I appreciated the details.

Not good or bad. Went for a sale but items were sold out despite website stating available. Clear sales signs on other items but no actual price anywhere to be found, had to research online. Clothing not always in appropriate marked or easy to read areas. Not greeted at door or while roaming around lost, despite workers clear boredom judging by their conversations with peers.

Clean place, nice workers. Prices are reasonable

I believe Macy's is struggling in general. Friendly staff here and decent quantities. Carpet and atmosphere is old looking and feeling.

Such a bummers how time changes a classic. Always known to kahala mall just not as much product as before. MAC was removed and the Mens store was closed and the selection upstairs for mens apparel is slim. Just not the same, sadly it would make more sense to close this location and force everyone to go to ala moana. At least the shopping experience would have more items in the store. Staff always friendly and kind.

Mostly went to use the restroom, lol!!🤣 But decided to browse, and GLAD I did!! Found the 50% off section of women's blouses and slacks!! I got 2 blouses at GREAT deals. Will go back for sure n look around!! Was pressed for time.

We really just walked through. However, there were wonderful clothing and Christmas displays. I would really enjoy shopping here.

First time Christmas shopping in here but it was a good experience. I was asked twice if I needed any help. Customer Service Rep that checked me out was great. Very friendly and courtesy on high. Store is clean but has that old school dull dark feeling of old 80's lighting. Would be nice with a brighter feel being in such a nice location. Feels like a museum or library. Didn't care to stay longer to browse.

Black Friday sales are awesome. Multilevel site with ample parking. Enter from carpark or from Mall. Plenty to do and see here. They even have a salon on the 2nd floor.

At every single checkout counter I have gone to at this store, staff has been really slow. Good selection of products

Once again a typical large retail store with higher prices but latest goods. Service was helpful and friendly. No selling pressure or need to buy.

Nice, big 2 story Macy's at Kahala Mall. An "Anchor store" for this mall no doubt. This is notable as the much larger Ala Moana Mall isn't that far away and they have a Macy's there too. This might not seem like much, but they pulled another of the previous anchor stores "Barnes and Noble" which now forces you to go to Ala Moana since that is now the only B&N. Kahala is an easy to navigate inside mall with perimeter parking and a parking structure right next to Macy's so you can usually easily find convenient nearby parking. Being a large 2 story Macy's you have a wide selection of departments to shop in, and the store is kept clean and well stocked.

Less inventory these days. Fine jewelry too overpriced even when on sale. Shoe selection isn't that great.

Kerry at the mens department was full of energy and professionalism in getting 2 Kahala shorts sent to me on Maui bc our store did not have it. Again THANK YOU, KERRY, YOU ROCK!!!

Very disappointed. I was trying to buy a bag but couldn’t get any good help, the one person who helped was in a rush to go get lunch and was barely paying attention. I left and will buy online directly from MK’s website instead. I was there for about 30mins trying to get someone to help me. Do not recommend.

The store is big (2floors) clean and neat. They have a lot of sale for good quality and branded items.

Very well stocked and the sales associates are eager to assist. A sales manager even walked with me to the next department to introduce me to a sales associate to further assist me, just based off what I'd already purchased. Little things like that make the customer feel special and valued. Definitely returning to this Macy's!

This Macy's location offers a smaller selection compared to other locations but the customer service is top notch!

Visited Kahala Macy's around noon on Friday and couldn't y find a single employee when I wanted one. I circled the second floor and didn't see any employees. I went down to the first floor and two other customers were looking for employees to no avail. Super poor experience! If you need more workers then hire them now!

We had a very good experience a Macy's at Kahala, every station we went to was professional and courteous.. not to mention very knowledgeable of all the products there...we always like going there...she likes the perfumes especially

Yes, I did visit Macy's that day to complete the day's timeline . In visiting a friend at the Surfrider, I was invited to go swimming in which I realized I had no swimming trunks, or at least couldn't find a pair at that moment. Because of the time factor I needed to go somewhere close to pick some up, the ABC store was actually the closest place, but their prices on that idem would be like shopping at Nordstrom, I said I better go to Macy's I'm sure to find a sale on them, and I did. I found a good pair on sale for , 18.99 and because of the cheap price I bought two pairs. I don't think a moment goes by without Macy's having a sale on something.

Was looking for 1 particular item of clothing. I found item in my size on sale and purchased it at Kahala store. Had to look for a checkout stand, found a sales person available at one checkout but it was at opposite end of store. I only saw less than 10 persons in store including sales personnel. Great social distancing but sad for business.
