I slipped and fell on the way down from the Diamond Head hike and hurt my foot/ankle. We stopped at this urgent care on the way back to the hotel. They seemed confused when I hobbled through the door but they did see me - for about 2-3 minutes - never had me take my shoe off (I asked several times if I should remove it). My foot was gently rotated and touched in a few spots around my ankle (one place hurt). I was told it was sprained, to ice it and rest it. Well, just got home and went to the urgent care at my local orthopaedic clinic and my leg is broken right above my ankle and I most likely need surgery to fix it. I hobbled around on my broken leg the rest of my vacation - a week - and iced and rested several times a day. Even a boot would have helped protect it some had I known it was broken. I do not recommend this urgent care location. I wish I had read the reviews before going there.

This incident happened on 7/28/20. My father who is about to turn 71 years old and is a veteran went to this clinic because he had an extremely low pulse rate and high blood pressure. He came to you in an emergency and you turned him away because your issue with the VA. That issue is not his fault, you are obligated to treat people in emergency situations. You are lower than low and you will be reported to the VA and to action news for what you are doing. Shame on you! Would you like your family to be treated the same? I hope they never are. You should be ashamed of how you treated him today.

Is it 1 or 5 stars? I think I can see why it's so divided. I'm quick and efficient, so some people think it's sloppy. I thought there would be a difference between people who thought it was quick. We can provide sufficient medical care if the ER is not necessary, but it is common in America to refuse treatment if the patient is unmanageable or not covered by insurance. The people who are angry because of the reviews probably have really good family doctors. I show my insurance and ID before the treatment. The only hospital I know of is to check if I can pay. In Japan, you also have to present your insurance card first. I may not be able to use general American insurance or travel insurance. I think that can't be helped either. Spend a lot of money and get good insurance that will allow you to go to the ER at a general hospital without hesitation in case of an emergency. Then you shouldn't have any complaints. If it's mild, it's fine, but if it's severe, it's best to go to another hospital. Because it's not a big hospital like a general hospital. Those who were able to get insurance coverage for a simple test, fever, or minor injury were given a 5, and the rest were given a 1.

I decided to go to Urgent care Clinic of Waikiki after mistaking some directions given to me by a lifeguard after slicing my hand open on the coral reefs of Waikiki Beach. I was referred to the Urgent Care inside the sheraton but could not be happier that I stumbled into this Urgent Care Clinic instead. Before arriving I was anticipating a long wait time, I went up to the front desk receptionist who handled me with professionalism, kindness and warmth, and I explained to her what had happened. After giving her identification, my insurance, and a credit card, I waited no more than 2 minutes before being taken to the back where an assistant helped me right away. After taking off the gauze and tape that the lifeguard had placed onto my wound, she began to disinfect and prep the wound. Shortly after the doctor, showed up to take a look at the wound. I was amazed at how quickly he was working-- he determined within 30 second of initially looking at the wound that there was no remaining skin to sew over my wound to stop the bleeding so he quickly numbed the wound and began to cauterize it until the bleeding stopped. I felt completely safe and in great hands the entire time I was there, from start to finish It couldn't have been more than 30 minutes from when i had first shown up and I was out of the office. I was met with the highest standard of care every step of the way. I feel very guilty for not catching any of the staffs name for helping me out on that day, but I want to give my fullest thank you to the receptionist, nurse/assistant, and doctor that helped me. Thank you and I would highly recommend this Urgent Care.

Visited this clinic while on vacation , and experiencing what I thought to be strep throat. Explained symptoms, at which point he looked at my throat and said "It's not that bad, do you want antibiotics?" and walked out. He ended up giving me a prescription for Amoxicillin for 7 days, but only supplied enough for 5 days. He did not ask any questions, did not look in ears, nose, etc, check lungs for wheezing. I returned home to be diagnosed with bronchitis. This doctor has zero interest in patient care, or at least did not the day I was there.

So thankful for this urgent care. My fiancé was sick while visiting Oahu and the Long's/CVS was not able to take any walk-in's. They recommended Urgent Care Clinic of Waikiki which was located in the same building. We were in and out of this place in 20 minutes. Thank you to doctor Hori and his staff!

Friendly, helpful, and simple. I called this morning and was able to make an appointment for this afternoon. I parked at the Royal Hawaiian Center parking garage ($6/hr) and was quickly in and out with a prescription I needed for a chronic condition. All staff was friendly and helpful. Afterwards I was able to go downstairs to the CVS and fill my prescription. So easy! Very appreciated as I was feeling pretty rough and didn't need any unpleasant surprises.

Moved to Waikiki from Maui and didn't have a PCP on Oahu yet. Called this Clinic for an appointment due to a UTI. Was seen immediately upon arrival and everyone was wonderful. Love the lady who answers the phone. When initial RX was not knocking out infection I called and the doctor changed my RX. Thank you UCC of Waikiki.

I was in a situation where I was in danger of not being able to return because I had forgotten to take a negative certificate when I returned to Japan, but they responded quickly and courteously, even before the opening. Thank you very much. thank you very much!

Dr. Hori did our antibody test for Covid and wrote us letters to be able to travel to and from Europe without problem. I was away in Europe and realized I didn’t ask him to include his medical identifier number on the letter so I emailed him and he promptly made us new letters with the correct information we needed. He is a great Dr. who cares about his patients and also helped me immediately when I fell and ripped my knee open pretty badly on thanksgiving a few years ago. I couldn’t believe he was open on thanksgiving at 2pm but he was! I’m glad I had that accident and discovered this urgent care because I will continue to come back. This is the type of caring medical practice we need in our community.

I was feeling weak, off balance, my face looked grey, and I was out of breath. If it weren't for the doctor's here I would be dead. In a matter of 30 seconds the doctor told me I was anemic and performed a hemoglobin test. He literally just looked at me , looked into my eyes and said I was bleeding internally. I had internal bleeding from taking too much advil and was sent to a hospital for a blood transfusion. I am very grateful that they knew, that quick, what they thought was wrong with me. They nailed it !! 1 zillion stars.

WORST URGENT CARE!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS, THEY DON’T FOLLOW UP TO NEXT DOCTOR THAT THEY REFERRED. EVEN THE RECEPTIONIST HAVE ATTITUDE WHEN YOUR EXPLAINING WHAT HAPPENED. WASTING OUR TIME TO COME HERE. I WISH I READ REVIEWS FIRST ABOUT THIS URGENT CARE. BUT THEN WE DON’T HAVE CHOICE SINCE IT’S THE CLOSEST TO MY SISTERS WORKING PLACE WHEN SHE GOT ACCIDENT FROM WORK! ASK THEM FOR VALIDATION FOR THE PARKING AND THEY ASKED US FOR VALIDATION “PAYMENT” ALSO LIKE WTH!🤦🏻‍♀️ NO UPDATE ON WHAT IS GOING ON AND THEY GIVE US REFERRALS THAT IS NOT IN THE OFFICE OR HOSPITALS ALREADY AND PRESCRIPTIONS TO PICK UP BUT THE LOCATION IS PERMANENTLY CLOSE. WASTING TIME AND GAS!

I got Covid test here so it was smooth but the reception lady was not very nice. I saw bad reviews here but I totally understand that because I’m from Japan and went to many hospitals and Japanese doctors are just horrible. They don’t have any medical knowledge (You have to be the doctor and ask for the medicines) and rude as soon as they think they cannot fix you right away they just send you home.

They were super clean, kind, saw me immediately, appointment only at moment to be extra safe for sick vs emergency visits, covid test results in minutes. I will be recommending others. I was recommended by work office.

Terrible clinic. They are just after your money. They will try to avoid/talk you out of your insurance, and talk you into paying out of pocket. If you choose to use insurance, they will try to point you in another direction.

Was seen within 10 minutes of signing in, then got a diagnosis and script. Total time less than 30 minutes. Very satisfied with this Urgent Care facility

It was used to issue a negative certificate to return to Japan. We had a Japanese teacher and a Japanese office staff assist us. (Both of them were also fluent in English.) Also, I had to change the time many times due to my own circumstances, but they were very accommodating each time. It was a very good clinic.
