The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hygienist did an amazing job with my cleaning and took her time.

I do not like the dentist in general but I like Dr. Lisa and this clinic. Apparently I have dental anxiety n that’s why I haven’t been to the dentist in years I was way over due for a cleaning. Dr Lisa did a great job she was thorough and kind and so was her assistant. It’s hard for me to have dental work done I freak out and it’s embarrassing but they helped me and I would recommend them.

The dental assistant (unfortunately I don't know her name) and Dr. Cross are both extremely skilled and friendly. My last dentist who I've been seeing since I was a kid has always been rough with my teeth and never explained anything in depth with me and I just thought all dentist appointments were uncomfortable, painful, and scary. But I felt comfortable and like I was being listened to at Hawaii Dental Clinic. They take Medicaid and I had no issues with insurance. I appreciate all the staff at this clinic!

Hawaii Dental Clinic is a great place to go for all your dental needs the people at the front desk are the best so helpful and the Doctors are very good so is the assistant .They all made it such a great experience not scary at all very comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Believe me I'm a chicken when it comes to going to the dentist but going there no problem. Thank you all making my visit great looking forward to seeing you soon. Aloha.

Excellent and friendly service. You may expect a month long wait between appointments. Fill out forms digitally. Tangent- Beautiful place though aquarium needs maintenance and why I don't keep one anymore xD. A month ago it was clean. Small waiting area with 7 chairs. Keys to the bathroom. Bring something to do while you wait a bit. Gives you optional sunglasses to wear during cleaning or bring your own. Dentists recommends electric toothbrush as a game changer. Look into it as CVS labels which ones are covered by OTC catalog. Look for ADA approval symbol.

I've been coming to Hawaii Dental Clinic for years now. Location is in Kukui Plaza in Chinatown, they have public parking underground and entrance is behind of the building, and once you park there you just take elevator goes right up to the clinic. Not the new dental clinic with new facilities but the Dr. and staffs are amazing people. They always accomodated me with my request, sometimes i have to cancelled my appointment few times because work/kids schedule but they always help and re-schedule without any questions. Recently Dr. Cross is directly cleaning my teeth and tell me any concern. Most of dental clinic I've been Dr was only look at my teeth and not the one doing cleaning job but hygienist. I felt like Dr takes more time and more careful cleaning my teeth and also can check right away if there's any problems need to fix. I'm very happy with the service and care at HDC. Highly appreciated.

She was able to give me a same day appointment, give perfect directions to the clinic, was so sweet when she greeted me and was so gentle with the X-ray and assisting the dentist! Wow! Definitely need more people like her! Thank you Maria! Dentist was nice too. The procedure was quick and painless! Loved the whole experience today! Definitely recommend this place and I will be back in the future.

I was initially a little scared after reading reviews about insurance complications, but I had none! They were upfront about my charges and the doctor/assistant are so sweet and incredible. It was my first time having a cavity and getting it filled, they dealt with my nerves so well and were amazing at making sure I was comfortable. Loved my experience here, have definitely found my new dentist.

This review is on behalf of my child whom the visit was for. Her appt went as I would expect! She received a cleaning and the doctor gave us a full breakdown of her X-rays. To be by my daughter’s side during her appt is comforting for her since her prior appts with another provider didn’t allow it. Doc was gentle and also walk my baby through each step of the cleaning which put her at ease. My daughter also needs to see 2 specialist and both process was smooth. This was our first visit and I’m so happy with the turn out that we scheduled her follow ups at the time of the visit. I would definitely recommend these guys for minors, great experience from mom and daughter! Big Mahalos to the team for providing excellent services!
