This gym has everything you need and separated by rooms. Olympic lifts no problem, crossfit no problem and cardio!

Not the best on post gym I've been to, but also not the worst. Decent amout of equipment. May have to alter your workouts if you're use to a certain machine that they don't have or only have 1 of. All in all you can get a great workout in. Best part is the outdoor section.

Got accused of something I didn’t do and they pulled my 24 hour access. They talk about revoking passes like it’s an accomplishment. Trash gym and trash policies.

Don’t get a 24 hour pass they will mistake you for someone else then revoke your pass without warning and then once you prove it wasn’t you they won’t here you out worse gym by far on all installations across the army

I liked working out here. It's a nice clean facility that has good music playing sometimes. They have an awesome cardio room and I enjoy the open area in the middle of the gym where you can flip tires and do pull ups.

It's a well laid out and equipped gym however, like most Army gyms, the hours are not sufficient to support the population and the 24 hour access for the door is frequently broken, wasting peoples' time.

Decent gym, cool open layout, just need some more cables. Also they require a mask at all times, not their call im sure but it's still a pain in the a**

No need to force people to keep mask ON while excercising!. The WHO (World Health Administration) doesn't recommends wearing a mask while exercising. People should never wear masks when exercising because Masks reduce the ability to breathe normally!!. Additionally- sweat makes the mask becomes wet more quickly which promotes the growth of microorganisms. The important preventive measure during excercise is to maintain physical distance of at least one meter from others like most gyms do.

Great selection of weights, cardio, and CrossFit style equipment. COVID restrictions in place in the cardio areas. Gym is closed currently from 0930-1100 for a deep clean and from opening until 0900 is active duty only.

Great selection of weight training equipment you don't find in local commercial gyms. Large open area and abundance of racks and platforms. Could use another cable setup.

It's really nice and open. Feels clean. For a second I felt like this must be what the prison gym would feel like. There's different rooms with equipment. A basketball court and the middle has turf and tires, ropes etc. It was a little intimidating for me but i went with my husband, so if you don't like going to gyms go with someone for the first time and familiarize yourself with the layout. I'll go again. I'd like to inquire about a personal trainer.

For an old base, it's not a bad gym. It has everything you need. Can get crowded during usual PT, lunch and after work hours. It does have 24hr access (pass only). Not as good as some of the gyms in other overseas locations or back in the mainland but I can't complain about this place one bit.

Not too bad. Locker room get crowded but it's because lot of people, Soldiers or civilians use it to get changed.

The gym is good, lots of free weights and CrossFit type things, pullups bars, sleds, squat racks, Olympic rings, cardio machines. The only thing I found very odd is there is only one cable machine and it's broken.

It's ok. Equipment might break while using it and not a lot to choose from. More of a cross fit or hipster gym. Kinda disappointing for the size and being only 1 of 2 gyms on base.

Great gym. Gets busy when everyone gets off work especially the cable room. But they now have after hours access which is nice

I already thought it was a pretty fantastic gym. Then I found out they have a reverse hyper machine. Would give 7 stars if I could. Only complaint is sloping floor, but what can you do? 🤷‍♂️Still the best military gym on island.

Its clean it has weights for all types of lifters

  • 5/5 Reginald T. 3 years ago on Google
Great place to go and workout. They accept, military and Civilian at the same time. No separate time for Civilan and Military to work out. Unlike JBPHH Fitness and Hickam gyms. Really appreciate the Army looking for all patrons. Very spacious and clean.

I like it. I love that it's 24 hours and at night can have the gym to myself

  • 1/5 GREGORY T. 1 year ago on Google
One of the worst military gyms I have ever encountered. Just like every other facility on Schofield and in this division, it is second rate at best and needs an upgrade.

  • 5/5 Danielle J. 10 months ago on Google
For a 30min brief you can have 24hr access, limited to 6 rooms but definitely worth the 30min!

  • 5/5 I O. 2 years ago on Google
Great variety of equipment. Has rush hours, equipment hogs, and a-holes who don't re-rack their weights like any other gym.

  • 5/5 Bridget S. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of workout space and equipment that works. Variety of classes you can take for a small fee. Hand washing required before entering the building. Locker room reasonably sized.

  • 4/5 nick h. 1 year ago on Google
Nice gym has plenty of space and equipment. You can workout outside or inside and most of the equipment is newer. Definitely one of the better military gyms I have been too

The gym should really consider the workers attitudes and who they hire.

Decent size gym. They added more machines which is good but wish they would add another cable machine. Also the water fountain in girl’s locker room has been broken for weeks now and the main water fountain in the outside main area is always hot. Wish it was cold water. Overall decent gym for on post. Love the 24 hour access too.
