Luz is incredible! She was so accommodating and it was well worth the money to have her take us around. She told us background on historical sites, answered all our questions, took our photos and provided so many extras we didn't even think of! We really loved our time with her and we LOVED how fast we could get in and out of high interest/busy sites. We were able to do far more in a day than we would have been able ton on our own. She dropped us off and we didn't have to maneuver through parking and she was always easy to find afterwards or came with us to sites where it was helpful to have her. Each day was planned completely to what we wanted. She went above and beyond in every way. Luz even took us to a great place for dinner at the end of the day. REALLY so grateful for her and her expertise. We're hoping to see her on our next trip!

Excellent service, this agency has a variety of tours. Luz is a kind person, who knows very well the history of Hawaiians, their culture and customs. On the tour, we had the car to ourselves, we felt more comfortable that way. She gave good recommendations for lunch, snacks and so on. It strives to make tourists feel comfortable on the island, providing complimentary water and snacks, which makes the tour enjoyable. I recommend it 100%

This trip was awesome!! Literally the easiest way to see so many things and learn so much! We were picked up early at the airport and our journey began! We ate at all the local places and ended our day at Pearl Harbor! Best part of our trip!

This was my second time taking this tour; I liked it so much the first time I had to come back for more and share the experience with my guests. I feel like we conquered the island in a day. I have never really enjoyed the typical tours, but these guys were great! It felt more like they were sharing something with me then just reading off a script to a bunch of strangers. The guide interacted with us and was thoughtful of what we wanted to see and be a part of. Once they even turned around so I could buy fruit from a vendor that we had past. If you want a peace of Hawaii without the monotony of a big company just taking you for your money, I would highly recommend Tropical Hawaiian Tours as the best option.

As someone who’s never been to Hawaii, this tour hit all the best iconic spots to see and the guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the place itself and everywhere we went. With an attentive and knowledgeable guide that catered the tour to what /you/ wanted to get out of it, this tour was a full day of education and entertainment. It was a lovely experience.

Our family of six enjoyed a private tour with our awesome driver/tour guide, Pasha. Mahalo for the attention to detail and care of our family. I had a portable scooter and it fit perfectly in the trunk of his van! We had a nice greeting with seashell Leis and cold water bottles provided throughout the day as well to keep hydrated. Unbelievable! Our guide Luz was such a kind, informative, welcoming presence for our first day in Hawaii! My sister and I had the best Oahu Circle Island private tour with Hawaiian Tours. Our local guide, Keoki, picked us up at our hotel. He was the nicest, most knowledgeable, and helpful guide. He always dropped us close to the front, parked, met us inside, and then picked us up. First he took us through Punchbowl Cemetery, per my request. Then off to the Dole Plantation, so we could enjoy it before the crowds. We stopped at the coffee farm, nut farm, fruit stands, shrimp truck, Haleiwa town for shave ice and some shopping, Byodo-In Temple, as well as stops at beautiful beaches, lookouts, and other stops, then ending at Leonard's for yummy malasadas. The tour was everything we asked for and more. It was the best tour ever. Thank you!

Luz was amazing and provided a great private tour with my family. It was customized to do what we wanted and how much time we wanted in each area. She even went out of her way to help me get to experience Leonard's masaladas when the food truck closed early and drove to the main location.

Luz was so lovely, she was very knowledgeable about the areas we explored and even offered to turn around so we could explore an extra cave! We had such nice, easy conversation with her the whole day. It was a wonderful way to see more of the authentic side of Oahu, plus, she gave us tips and places to see on the rest of our stay!
