We had an extremely terrible experience with this company! I will explain the reasons as below. Firstly, we had an appointment for the shuttle service to Diamond Head at 6.20am but I was informed a half day before that Kaimana Tours changed the time to 7.20am. If I didn’t accept it, I’d have to pay for the cancellation fee. Their inexplicable change disordered our trip plan! Second, we arrived the pick-up place before 7.20am but the shuttle driver called me saying that he would be late for 5mins, but the truth was that he was late for 15mins!!! As he didn’t show up in the time slot that he promised, my husband went to the restroom. When the driver arrived after 15mins, he said that he couldn’t wait for my husband for 2mins. It is super ridiculous! Why could we wait him for 15mins but he couldn’t wait for 2mins??? If he didn’t arrive late, we would absolutely catch the shuttle! Then this rude man just drove the shuttle away and left me on the street. Third, this raffish company charged me about $11.47(reservation fee) and $73.3(tour fee) for no show! I understand that reservation fee cannot be refunded but the tour fee was included in the go city pass, why you charged me additional tour fee? We had 4-day go city pass, other experience were awesome and worthy, the worst one is with Kaimana Tours. As the other review said, Go city pass really needs to terminate the cooperation with this company. DO NOT waste your go city pass on any of this company’s program. The rental and shuttle service had poor value and you will bear the high risk of high cancellation fee even though the cancellation was due to this company’s fault. Never met such a ridiculous and disgusting tour experience like this, will let my friends to avoid them!

This experience left us feeling taken advantage of in several ways. Firstly, the snorkeling equipment provided was not a one-size-fits-all solution. While the company ensured correctly sized fins for everyone, the snorkel gear offered was substandard and more suitable for children than adults. Unfortunately, my partner had a larger nose, making the child-sized snorkel inadequate, and we had to pay extra for a full-face mask. This unexpected cost, along with the round-trip transportation and park fee, added up to a total of $180 for two people. Additionally, there was some misleading advertising. The tour promised to include the $25 park entrance fee, umbrellas, and chairs, which led us to believe our total cost would be $107 for the entire experience. However, this turned out to be false advertising, and we were quite disappointed with the unexpected expenses. A suggestion for the company would be to be upfront about costs from the start. Charging the park fee upfront and offering clear packages for extra gear would help customers understand the total expenses beforehand. This transparency would likely lead to more satisfied customers who are willing to pay for what they need without feeling exploited. After all, nobody enjoys leaving an experience with a sense of being taken advantage of.

We were picked up directly in front of Waikiki hotel, on time in a nice minibus that was labeled with the tour name. Our driver was pleasant and knowledgeable of the area! The drive to the trail was about 15-20 minutes from our hotel. I was amazed at how quickly we went from a neighborhood of homes to a rainforest! The sounds upon entering the rainforest were beautiful! There are restrooms in the visitor center so that was a plus. The hike is listed as a beginner or novice…although it is only .8 miles to the waterfall, so 1.6 round trip, I definitely would say the trail itself it more challenging than beginner, take the walking stick that is offered. The rocks are loose and there is a decent incline. So although there is a trail it isn’t smooth or easy walking, but I guess that’s why it is called a hike and not a walking trail! But the views were gorgeous and just as we got to the top it started to rain, which was fine with us. Our driver had explained a few movie site locations to look for but it was not super clear to me where exactly those were as they are not marked on the trail at all. Overall we had a good time, got some amazing photos and although the hike was more challenging for two non hiking people, we didn’t die and I am glad we were able to do it!

I booked the diamond head hiking shuttle, it was great. We didn’t have to worry about the parking, the parking spots are limited if you drive your car there. Recommend to have the early one since it may get hot on your way down, I had 7:15 tour so it wasn’t so bad. Our driver Adam is informative and punctual :)

I setup with Kaimana Tours for my Diamond. Head Crater Hike. I used my GoCITY Card which gave me my shuttle and entrance to the crater. My driver was on time and professional. He carried a conversation all throughout the short 10 minute ride. He gave let us know what to expect and where to meet afterwards, a bottle of water and of course our admission. This is the second time I’ve used Kaimana Tours and was happy to do so.

Such a lovely sunset sail! Captain John and Jesse were great — super personable and accommodating. Had a great time and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. I’d definitely do this again!

Family was visiting Oahu for the first time so I wanted to book them a tour to show them around the island. After reading through the many positive reviews, I decided to give Kaimana Tours a try and I am so happy I did! Our tour guide, Diogo, was awesome! He showed us amazing food spots around the island and gave us tons of recommendations for what to do for the remainder of our trip. We've done lots of tours around the world and they're usually hit or miss. This one was a hit! We encountered many issues along the way, getting our tours set up, however, they made a special arrangements for us to be picked up from one hike (Diamond head), and delivered to another hike (Manoa Falls) by the same driver, so that we could make the connection. Attached are a couple of pictures from each hike… the view from the top diamond head, and the beautiful foliage along the trip to Manoa Falls. (Wear proper shoes… not sandals, and both are worth the effort you put into hiking up) Additionally our driver Rogério (aka Roger) treated us like royalty! Mahalo to everyone at Kaimana for making our adventure in Hawaii special!

They picked up on time and led our group around the admission line of Diamond Head without delay so we had a full 2 hours to enjoy our hike and complementary bottle of water.

We used the shuttle service from our hotel to hike Diamond head. Our driver arrived on time and shared information during the drive up and down the crater. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful sunset cruise with very capable captain and crew. Beautiful views of Honolulu from the water and of course a gorgeous sunset. They made sure to take photos of all of the guests with the sunset behind. Very accommodating and attentive.

Our driver was awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable! He got us to our destination and back to the hotel so quick and efficiently. He even had cold water for us after our hike! The views were breath taking!

Had an amazing experience snorkeling at Hamauna Bay thanks to Kaimana Tours. They provided transport to pick us up from the Hotel we were staying at, provided us with basic snorkeling gear (googles, tube, and shoes) for rental, and provided transportation back to our hotel. They can provide extra amenities such as chairs, umbrella, life jackets, etc. Our driver was very friendly, funny, and shared a lot of useful information and tips. Of course, Hanauma Bay was beautiful as well. The 9AM-2PM tour is perfect as well as the tide is low and the waster isn't too cold around that time. Would love to go again and wouldn't hesitate to use Kaimana Tours services again!

Diamond Head first thing in the morning is simply breath taking from the hike up to the amazing views. You'll feel the burn in your legs for a day or two that reminds you what a hike it is but incredibly well worth every step. It was so nice to have someone else drive to it. This tour was certainly worth the money and time!

An amazing spot to snorkel and relax. Not too many people generally and the life guards don’t harass beach goers. The perfect blend!

We did the Diamond Head tour and I would 100% recommend this company to anyone wanting to hike Diamond Head. I loved that we were picked up right at our hotel and dropped off like 50 steps from the entrance to the hike. We didn't have to worry about parking or waiting in line for tickets at the gate! The van was comfortable and our driver was friendly (he even gave us some tips on great places to eat on our drive back!)

We used the snorkel and beach gear rental service. Their store was really easy to find. Their customer service was awesome. Great prices and Carla Marcio and Monique rock. They were super friendly and very helpful. I went with a big group and they helped us out with our rentals, we were in and out of the store no hassle. Prices are great also. Would recommend to everyone who is in Waikiki area to go check them out. They also do tours all around the island.

Went on the Manoa falls trail with Kaimana tours and absolutely loved it ! Diogo, our tour guide, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, shared fun facts on our way up to the falls and kept the group laughing. They provide you with all the supplies you might need like bug spray, walking sticks and water. The hike is absolutely worth it with stunning views throughout. A very well thought out service, would highly recommend !

We used Kaimana Tours twice. They provided transportation for us to Diamond Head and to Moana Falls trails. Both of our drivers were prompt and friendly. They taught us a little about Hawaii and provided suggestions of places to visit, specifically restaurants. For the Moana Falls hike, they also provided us with bug spray and a walking stick, which came in handy. They provided free bottled water for both hikes. If you need transportation to reach your hikes, Kaimana Tours will get you there.

Fantastic time and we had the absolutely best tour guide! Diogo was attentive, easy to talk with, and extremely knowledgeable. He pointed out some cool things during the drive but most importantly provided great conversation with a few jokes and recommendations for things to do doing our vacation. We truly enjoyed our time and would recommend his services again and again.

Everything Kaimana planned for us was amazing. Transportation from our hotel in Waikiki was very efficient and arrived on time right next to where we stayed. Our driver Diogo was very knowledgeable and had some great fun facts about the area. He also helped us out with an overview of the hike before we started even including some spots where movies were filmed. They also provided us with walking sticks, bug spray, and water. The hike itself was breathtaking and a great experience in the rainforest of the island. The falls were amazing and we were able to see so many different trees and plants along the way. Definitely one of the best hikes we did and would 100% recommend Kaimana to anyone looking to explore the island!

It was a wonderful trip to Majapu'u Light House. Our driver was very informative. He pointed out many other places we could visit. He was also very knowledgeable about the lighthouse and it's history. We are using this same company today to go to Pearl Harbor and fully expect it to be just as wonderful.

Koa was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable! Had the best experience and the Diamond Head Trial was breathtaking, especially once you get to the top! The whole experience from booking to pickup and drop off was seamless. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again next time in Waikiki!

This was an amazing experience! Manoa falls hike is so pretty and I would recommend it to anyone going to Oahu ! It’s pretty easy too so that’s good ! Kamaina tours provided very good service! Pickup/drop off was spot on and timely ! Diogo was excellent about providing all the info about the hike !

Our driver was on time and courteous. He was very knowledgeable, not only concerning the Diamondhead area, but also local cuisine. He provided great referrals and advice from a locals perspective.

This tour was amazing. We had rain for most of our tour so plan on it. The rain was not uncomfortable. Please wear tennis or hiking shoes. We saw people in shoes that were so bad for this activity. The walk was not hard it was doable and I'm not a young woman. Our guide loaned us sturdy walking sticks they were very helpful.

I'm extremely satisfied with my experience with Kaimana Tours. The entire experience was A1!!! First, the driver was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. Second, the tour bus was clean and not at all overcrowded. When we arrived at the rainforest site, we were blown away! Such a great time and the only suggestions I have are to: book early, eat before you leave, carry water, and wear hiking boots or old sneakers that you don't mind getting muddy.

Our driver was Mike Brazilian and he was very professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant! He had entertaining jokes and was a safe driver. Highly recommend and would tour again with this company! Thank you!

We booked 3 days of hikes and it was absolutely worth it. Good price and also they are a part of the GoOahu pass which is also a bonus. Their shuttle picking us up made everything much more convenient and they also provide free cold water. What made these trips even more amazing besides the views, we’re the kind and fun drivers. They were full of info, friendly, and very helpful with providing suggestions on what we can do and eat on the island. Very nice people, in person and on the phone. Will definitely recommend to family and friends! Hope to come back soon!
