Stunning. Water is beautiful and warm, and you can see surfers and various boating activities in the background. Just a heads up at night there are tons of homeless sleeping on the grass and on the beach. Not to mention the strong stench of marijuana. I was offered party favors a few times walking around there at night.

The beach is very beautiful, now I understand why they say it is one of the most beautiful in Hawaii; It is easy to access, there are showers, umbrellas and the sunset looks incredible from there. It is very popular so although there are not many people, it is one of the most requested spaces so you have to arrive in time to reserve a good place either to be during the day or just to watch the sunset.

One of the most beautiful beach I have ever seen! You can bring a towel lay down on the beach and enjoy your time! It can get crowded but I still love it! They are beautiful restaurant, hotels and shops around and you can hear musics all over the shore! If you want some quiet time you can come early in the morning and enjoy the view! The sun rise and sun down is beautiful here! Waikiki is famous for its surfing areas. So if you are in surfing like me you can enjoy it all day long if the weather permits! Which normally it does let you enjoy during April, June and most of July! They are water stations to clean your sandals or body from the sand and ocean’s water throughout the beach! You can also rent chairs and umbrella with reasonable price not too expensive at rental boots! Definitely recommend surfing, sun set, and night life here!

One of the most well known beaches in the world. That tourist from all around the world come to visit for it's soft sand and crystal clear water and Panoramic views of Diamond Head, shops and restaurants all within a walking distance. This is a must stop beach when visiting Oahu. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.

Love Waikiki. Yes, it's crowded and busy and the traffic is a nightmare but we love the clear blue water, surfing, restaurants, and people watching. Park close to the zoo where there is a large park.

Can get extremely crowded but still gorgeous. Plenty of homeless people, some of them are aggressive so be careful

One of the most picturesque of views in all of Oahu just be aware it's going to get crazy crowded as the day goes on this is not the beach to go to for quiet and comfort but you're here already and you would be doing a disservice to yourself to not go see the amazing view this beach offers

Great view, great ocean, great beach! It gets a bit crowded with all of the tourists, though. The streets nearby are filled with souvenir shops, restaurants, and whatnot so it's a great location. The only negative thing is that the homeless people here are really aggressive and can be pretty scary. I had to call the police on a crazy lady who stole someone's bag.

I learned to surf here. I don’t get enough practice living in Texas but I’ll surf when I’m here and not injured.

One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been too , just to lay back in the Pacific Ocean with waves and enjoying nature, surfers everywhere and to see such a beautiful sunset in the evenings was an amazing experience @ wakikiki Beach .

Spectacular beach. When we were there the waves were really tame. Curious what others notice. It's crowded. The sand is perfect. One of the things I look for in a beach is no or few rocks in the water at wading depth. This beach is great, at least the small section where we were. Almost no rocks to contend with while wading in.

All the beaches are public and there are lots of food and gear rental places nearby. Close walk to a large shopping center too.

This beach is crowded and hardly any space for you to relax. There are tons of activities going on and is a fun beach to visit with families

Beautiful beach, beautiful waters. If you can avoid it do not drive to this beach as parking is pricey even a good trek away. It does get crowded, both the beach and water. Be prepared to step on uneven ground when in the water, coral is spread out. Water is shallow in parts even for a vertically challenged individual. Can get kind of noisy thanks to the proximity to hotels and tourists.

We stayed nearby to Waikiki beach so it was very convenient to walk down and go for a swim. The water temperature was perfect and there are many good food options around. Even though there were a lot of people it felt really relaxing on the beach.

Beautiful Beach to get a Tan, Chill and Relax. It can get a crowded at times. Google says “White” sand beach. Waikiki Beach has “Tan” coloured sand.

Nice beach overall! Lots of people sunbathing and surfing. Always busy even during the early morning. If you don't like big crowd or want to spend a relaxing afternoon on the beach this isn't for you. Personally, I prefer beaches on the east coast for that reason.

Although pretty small, it's one of those beaches you gotta visit before leaving Honolulu since it is so popular and in a great location. Water is nice and fresh. Most beaches we went to have rocks, so I'd recommend getting waterproof shoes if you want!

Tourists trap beach, so it’s like any others beach. Nothing special 😇

Great place for surfing at all times of day! The beach is always crowded but it’s to be expected considering all of the hotels around. And the sunsets here are amazing!

Great beach! Last time I was here they had crushed coral on the beach, that sucked. Now it's all gone and is just sand, so nice! Had 2 turtles that came into the beach area a few days we were their. Hard to see in the photo but one is popping up.

👍 Decent little beach located on the south end of Sand Island. Lots of history down in this area. There are also local fishermen, homeless, and stray cats. 👍👍 Fort DeRussy Beach is a beautiful beach along the Fort DeRussy Park. The location has restaurants, restrooms and showers nearby. There are picnic tables, BBQ's, and park benches. 👍 Great place to surf mid spring. Paddle boarding is also great. Life guard is on duty. Also fun for the kids to bring their body board on the shore break.
