I
really
liked
this
little
beach.
Homeless
people
at
the
pier
end
on
the
street
but
the
beach
felt
really
safe.
I
read
some
reviews
that
during
covid
things
got
a
bit
crazy
with
homelessness
around
this
area
but
I
think
it's
back
to
normal
levels
now.
Beach
felt
clean
and
safe
with
only
tourists
in
it.
Rental
of
a
beach
umbrella
and
chairs
was
easy
from
the
beach
hut.
Ideal
for
young
children
and
families.
Calm
clear
water
with
no
waves.
Close
to
everything
on
the
strip.
The
showers
were
broken
do
you
need
to
walk
up
the
beach
a
few
yards
towards
Waikiki
beach
for
those.
I
would
recommend
this
beach.
Overall
I
saw
a
lot
more
homelessness
and
mental
health
issues
in
Maui
and
Oahu
this
visit.
I
think
COVID
has
really
hurt
the
homeless
community
as
much
as
the
rest
of
us.
Everything
had
been
turned
on
its
head
and
that
usually
tourist
only
areas
were
empty
for
two
years
etc.
Things
slowly
returning
to
normal
and
hopefully
the
homeless
and
mentally
ill
will
get
the
support
they
need
too.
