Wailupe Beach Park is on the small side however there was plenty of parking on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely not an area for swimming since the shoreline was rock. This would be a great picnic spot since there are tables, nice grass and restrooms.

I've been past here on the highway many times and never stopped to check it out until today. It is nicely maintained and the restrooms were fairly clean. It must have been low tide because the beach was very rocky and shallow. I wouldn't swim here, but it's a nice little park.

My O'Neil shorts served me well for ten years. The pockets were ripped out and my wallet kept falling out so I flew to Oahu and layed them to rest in a changing area. It's my hope that someone without a wallet can put these legendary shorts to go use.
