Wawamalu Beach Park is a great place for watching the ocean waves, sunbathing, kite flying and just stopping to use the public restroom. A very scenic location with very hard and sharp rocks that can be very slippery if your not careful.

Clean bathroom and amazing views. God's creation is unexplainable. What a blessing to be apart of His day today.

Beautiful out-of-the-way location. No real parking lot it's all off road or you can park down the road at Sandy Beach. no public facilities like Bathrooms or running water a few trash cans are around. Great place to go fishing, walk the dogs, go for a run

This is a great place to hang, get a little sun, wade in the water and play around the rocks. If you look where the water makes little ponds in the shore rocks, you can find all kinds of cute little sea creatures. We especially love when we find stunning little tropical fish just hanging out and playing around. There are a couple areas to pull in and park off the road. The last one if you're driving towards Waimanalo, has showers and a restroom that are always nice and clean. It's typically always super sunny here, so make sure you load up on sunblock. You won't realize until night or next morning that you got burnt to a crisp. If you're visiting, I can't say it enough... I don't care how tan you are, you will burn and ruin your trip. Wear 50 and please use reef safe!

Sandy, rocky, surf, sun, shade, and pretty chill. A really nice beach option that’s tranquil on the south side of the island.

Great place to take a photo session. Nice views of the volcano on one side and the ocean on the other. Perfect combination

This is and excellent spot for many types of surfing activities. Watch as the locals show their skills. Also offers an area for swimming. Waves can be strong so dont go out far into the water. Lifeguards are on standby. Some areas might be rocky but you can walk to find a swimming spot. Parking is abundant but might still have to wait due to the popularity of the park or you can park further down. Nearby restroom offers outdoor shower for rinsing. Indoor to change and pee. Number 2 if you are desperate since cubicles has no doors

A quiet park down by the area where the volcanic rock juts out into the ocean. Plenty of cool little tide pools to explore and beautiful mountain views in the background. The other end of the beach was full of surfers and there is also a food truck on the lot!

This place is good for scenery and walking. The shore is full of lava rocks, which makes the shore a perfect landscape. Just sit there, listen to the waves, and have peace.

Nice little beach with a small shallow area right down from Sandy's Beach. It's a rocky area so be careful. Nice little bathroom that's decently cared for depending on what season it's a great sandy beach area or rocks galore.

Beautiful beach with lots of lava rock. Not for wading or swimming but just watching the waves crash into the rocks is so soothing.

Great sand and surf you can reach via bus from Waikiki. Change station and restroom at the west end, and a short walk from the Hanaloa Blow Hole and Koko Crater Arch Trail although the path is along the shoulder of a busy road.

Quite possibly the best beach to experience the Oahu sunrise!

As a 30 yr+ resident of the area, this beach is generally Not a beach for casual swimming, the inexperienced or small children. Strong currents and potentially wicked shore break. You've been warned, aloha.

You have to go to The Bento Box truck when you go here! We got the acai bowl which is a carved pineapple, nice & cold for our 85 degree day!! We also got the sesame chicken bento box & hamburger steak which was like a Salisbury steak w/ cooked onions & gravy bento box. They were great! We also got the carved pineapple smoothie. Everything was sooo good!!

Beautiful and stunning visuals on this beach, sign cautions against swimming but plenty of surfers at the break trying to catch the perfect wave.

Forget the homeless at the entrance. The beach is perfect. Nice sandy beach with waves that are just right. After going to sandy beach where the waves are too strong we were told about this one by a lifeguard.

A nice stretch of beach with peaceful views. We made a quick pit stop driving back from Makapu'u Lookout. You can keep walking northeast from the big parking lot.

Simply one of the best beaches to visit on Oahu to enjoy breathtaking views of nature at it's best. Make sure you pay tribute if you're gonna step on the lava.

This was also located next to Sandy Beach and it has lots of beautiful sand though out the beach. The water itself is very demanding and thrashy, and coral is out there about the first 8 to 10 feet you go, but the water is see though so you can see all of it. Lot's of locals and people laying out - boogie boarding with the wave's. There were rest rooms- shower's there, food trucks and vender's onsite, and lot's of parking around the area. I hope you have a great day and I hope this helps you out.

Wawamalu Beach Park There is natural beauty on the mountain and a lot of lava below. Just watching the waves crash against the rocks is so soothing.
