Aloha, Absolutely beautiful! The white sand is so soft. We visited this beach twice, the first time we just drove by in the afternoon. Of course, we could not find any parking. The following day we arrived right before they opened @ 8 am. I believe or was it 7am? It was early! 😂 There are restrooms available, the parking lot has about 25-35 spots and there are a few benches facing the clear blue ocean. Lastly, it's located on the windward side of the island so you might want to layer.

It’s no wonder that this beach is still one of the worlds best. You have miles of white sand (fine) beaches with gentle waves. It’s not rocky but just watch the currents. Backs up to multi million dollar beachfront homes. I believe I just heard someone sold for over $20 million so you know the caliber of the neighborhood. Parking could be an issue so watch the signs or be faced with a ticket. Other than that enjoy the sun and water.

Aloha...We stayed here for around a week or so, it truly was a blessing !! Ask for the Cotton's on Kaumana Place, they should have you booked with no time... We didn't want to stay on the busy side of Oahu, but got this nice beach house , it only was 30 to 40 steps to the beach.. Not once did we regret..Very nice weather too, I think 28 C max...Easily one of the best places to stay in Oahu...

⚠️ Seriously read the signs⚠️ If you see signs for the Man of war jellyfish take them seriously and watch where you walking. Do NOT touch them even if you think they are dead they can still sting. Seriously pay attention to all the signs!! The jellyfish and Man of war travel with the tides and the storms so they tend to be predicted if they are going to be here. If you are visiting the island check the local news stations they can help let you know what beaches are more likely to have jellyfish and where the surf is best. The majority of the time when there are not jellies. The beach is absolutely beautiful and perfect for swimming, walking/running on the beach, paddle boarding, loads of people kite surfing, kayaking, ECT. The waves🌊 are really calm and it's fairly shallow for quite a bit so perfect for kids or less experienced swimmers. There are also lifeguards on duty. The is a bathroom, shower, changing area, picnic tables and benches in the park leading into the beach. Make sure to have your mask 😷 the bathroom and shower area can get a little crowded even on weekdays. There are multiple parking lots where you can actually pull off the road. You shouldn't have to just park in a random neighborhood or on the side of the main road. Not the best for sunsets, good for sunrise🌅.

It took me 35 min to get there but it worse it. The view is outstanding, the water is warm and tender, waves are calm and low, sand is velvet with white color. Perfect for standing in as it’s pretty shallow for some distance, not rocky at all. I’ve even packed my floaty to literally float for hours here. The waves lap gently, so if you’re into crashing waves this is not it (head to Makena for that action). Lots of sandy beach area for families to spread out. A few trees here and there for some shade too. Proper bathrooms and shower areas too.
