Basically not a bad corner, but in my opinion the general pollution and countless cats roaming around don't necessarily invite you to take a bath or spend a long time here. The sanitary facilities are in a terrible condition.

A very nice area on the south end of Oahu, near Waikiki. It’s just far enough away not to be too touristy. If you’re looking to get away from the hubbub of Waikiki, and still swim in calm waters, this is the place to go. Along with that, there’s a great park with lots of trails for running, walking, biking, and riding all the electronic mobiles you want. Best part is there are lots of areas to sit and take in the surrounding beauty, and there’s lots of shade. So, spend some time here and enjoy the island life!

The water at the Magic Island beach and the Ala Moana beach were calm and the sea bed was not sharp and rocky. It is a safe place to swim for beginners. It was not crowded at all on a December morning.

Magic Island, also known as Ala Moana Beach Park, is a popular beachfront park located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It is a man-made peninsula that provides stunning views of the Waikiki coastline and Diamond Head. Magic Island offers a wide array of recreational activities, including picnicking, swimming, jogging, and sunset watching. The park encompasses beautiful sandy beaches, grassy areas, and walking paths, making it a fantastic place for locals and visitors to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Hawaii.

A nice calm park with access to the beach and water that seems to be a great location for you to do scuba diving practice or maybe some snorkeling if there's anything in there. There are quite a number of picnic or barbecue stations with assigned numbers so I'm not sure if there is any reservation required or do you just attend and utilize them. I thought that I could Walk around the pool of water based on the Google Map setting. As I approached the water, it seems like the Walkway is not connected as u can see in the picture. I record seeing a no dog-allowed signage when I enter the Park area. however, I also saw people walking the dog in this park so I'm not sure which is more accurate.

Magic Island is a great little beach. The wave breaks keep the current in check. Not many people go there so it is rarely crowded. Great for kids to swim.

Beautiful place with a beach that has a break wall so you aren't pounding against everything while you swim or snorkel whichever.

Very nice place for walking.... Lots of trails. Swimming I'd recommend wearing reef walkers as there is a bunch of scattered rocks and coral but the swim zone is calm and great for a chill swim. Outdoor Showers available for rinsing off. Gorgeous views, lifeguard, and a safe vibe.

This is a recent walk course with pets. The Ala Moana condominiums across the ocean are very nice.

The parks on Magic Island are a great place for people to gather for picnics, for children to play in the water, for walks with pets, and for gatherings of family and friends. You can watch the fireworks show on Friday night.

A wonderful place to watch the sun rise and see the city wake up. I enjoyed watching people fishing and those rowing out of the harbor. You can get involved with many assorted exercise groups.

Magic Island is a wonderful and beautiful multipurpose park in the heart of Honolulu. Magic Island has plenty of free parking, large open green spaces, miles of paved walking trails, countless park benches, picnic tables, several restrooms, outdoor showers, sandy beaches, lifeguards, tennis courts, restaurants, fishing areas, and beautiful ocean and sunset views. Magic Island is well maintained, and there are many events held here annually. Do yourself a favor and check out Magic Island; you will not be disappointed! I went for a walk around 10am. There were benches here and there, so I was able to sit comfortably and watch Diamond Head. There was a dedicated path for running and walking. It looks like it would be fun to run while traveling. The cats were also friendly and cute.

The water was so clear I could see my toes. There were no waves so we were able to venture out really far without being concerned. One of the best beaches.

Good vibes and a great family oriented Beach were alot of locals hang out, showers, bathrooms and parking available here, it's very relaxing and has more of a home feeling to it, a propose to the tourist vibe, and feeling you get when you are down at Waikiki.

My favorite walking and running trail. Sunsets are often breathtaking. Good spot to watch the Friday night Waikiki fireworks @ 8p. Lighted surf yogas on the water look fun too.

One of the better beaches in Honolulu. Although it's quite busy it has wonderful City scape views of the city. You can even get lunch here at L&L. There are plenty of lifeguards here during the day, and this is a great place to bring kids to swim.

The waves were amazing due to Hector. A really nice park, but watch out for the construction, looks like they may be doing some upgrades??? Its all good.

Great place to take a walk and look at the view. Great park for running, surfing, swimming, paddling, fishing, barbecuing or just hanging at the beach doing nothing. Free parking I'd also a big plus. It does get busy during the weekends and holidays just get there early to get your spot.
