Nice little Cantonese Chinese restaurant in the Salt Lake Shopping center. Conveniently located next to Safeway and Shaka Shaka Tea several other eateries like McDonald's. Food is good, prices are fair and portions are decent. Been going here a while and occasionally that change in cooks makes the food inconsistent but generally they are our standby Chinese food spot. Favorites are salted fish fried rice, mapo tofu, eggplant with minced pork, garlic chicken over cake noodle, black bean clams, salt and pepper dished (port chops, chicken or squid all tasty). Staff has been really friendly and helpful but speaking Chinese probably helps the cause but our friends who don't speak still get good service. Ever since portions got really small and Wah Kung in the old 99 ranch complex changed ownership, we have been coming here. You should stop if you are into traditional Cantonese fare.

I always like coming to this place; it's not the best but it can be tasty. We ustato go to Wah Kung but the change in ownership caused a decline in it's quality so we come here. It's enough and the Family's content.

I ordered the Mongolian Beef, Chicken with Black Mushrooms, Hot and Sour Soup, and two orders of rice (I can't believe entrees don't come with rice... that's new to me for a Chinese restaurant but maybe it's commonplace here). $39! The food was pretty good but i was so surprised by the price! I looked at their menu online and thought it seemed reasonable so I ordered but when i went to pick the food up it was over $10 more than I expected. When I looked the restaurant up I looked at the restaurant photos on Yelp and saw the menu pics. I guess the prices went up by like $3 or more per item compared to what they are on the actual restaurant's webpage. $9.50 for hot and sour soup seems really high. The rice price only went up like a quarter but I'm still kinda sore about paying extra for white rice (especially since one menu pic I saw online said the entree came with rice but I asked and was told it was extra). Oh well. Just a warning if you're on a budget and basing your choices off the menu on their website!

I would say that I wouldn't even serve this to my dog. But then again their bodys are better suited for digesting cartilage and veins (which was the entirety of our meal), so maybe I'll save it for later. While I'd never eat here again, you should definitely keep this in mind if you ever want to passive aggressively suggest a restaurant to the workplace colleague that nobody likes or perhaps your mother-in-law.

We ordered to go for 9 people. We had 4 orange chickens and one chow mein, beef broccoli. My friend that had orange chicken got food poisoning and threw up 4 times last night. I didn't eat the chicken but it looked so greasy. Wouldn't recommend.

Alrighty, you're not going to bad food at this place, it's definitely good if you're just looking for a decent meal. However, you're not going to get anything that's really going to wow you. This place has more than 200 items on its menu, but none of them are really going to stick. It's all basic fare. It's good for a decent meal, just not that great.

Other comments said had a food poisoning here, we didn’t but we had a diarrhea. Food wasn’t that good either. Not worth to pay for food as a price.

Food was ok but customer service was horrible. After paying for my bill and I told her I was putting cash for tip at the table, she literally waited by my table and than demanded the tip. I showed her my money which I was about to leave, but after demanding it the way she did, I felt obligated not to give her anything after that. I still gave her the tip in the end, but told her people shouldn’t leave tips if they feel the customer service was horrible. Which she was and very rude. I’d suggest takeout instead of dine in or better yet, avoid this place. Never going back.

The General Tso chicken was drowning in sauce, yet had no taste. It was a truly impressive culinary feat. I did receive the food, so I gave it an extra star.

The bittermelon is made perfect. A little crunch but not as bitter. Snowpeas are good too. The cooking is good. Food is delicious and reasonable pricing. Food is not salty and has alot of flavoring. This restaurant is located in the salt lake shopping strip and has been here since i was a kid.

Stay Away! I’ve traveled around the world and have tasted numerous (General Tsao) dishes! This was the worst I’ve ever tasted in my life. We took one bite of our food and asked for the check. When I asked for a discount the lady said no, sorry. Please do not give these people any more money.

Very clean restaurant, good, reasonably priced food and generous portions. Quick, friendly, and accommodating service. We are vegan and it was very easy to get our food made the way we wanted it.

Aloha All, this is a great place for your Chinese fix if you live in this area. The roast duck is super good , comes with a duck gravy that's amazing ( Neva had this style before, Mongolian beef is awesome and so much more. Give it a try and let me know how you liked it.

We order here frequently, whether for dine in or take out. Our favorite dishes are the walnut shrimp, the orange chicken, rangoon, & egg rolls. I haven't tried all the Chinese food on the island, but I'm willing to bet this is in the top 5. If you're looking for filling Chinese food that isn't frozen & warmed up, this is it! Orders take about 15 minutes.

Excellent scallop soup and house cake noodle but, there kau yuk-tough and lots of grizzle and lemon chicken-alot of pieces with batter and sauce barely any chicken. Explained to the restaurant the last time we ordered kau yuk it was very tough with alot grizzle and I want to make sure it's soft before ordering again and she said no it's tough because the chef rushed cooking it.

Chicken wings were horrible and had what I would describe a rotten dish towel taste to it but I guess that’s what I get for ordering chicken wings at a Chinese restaurant. I just have to accept I’m no longer on the east coast and I can’t expect the “takeout” style wings here 🥲 My husband enjoyed the sesame chicken and he received a large amount. I will stick to ordering actual Chinese dishes from here from now on.

No wait, plenty of tables, very clean. The waitress was great and fast! She had tea hot & ready. When our duck and bao came out she served us. She also served us our first bowl of egg drop soup. Definitely going to be a repeat customer ❤️

6/10/21 I went today with a pal. She wanted the Chinese Chicken Salad so I ordered that too. She also got the Spring Rolls to share with me. The salad was huge! It was a lot of iceberg lettuce & some shredded carrots, with a good amount of chicken. The salad was covered with chopped peanuts, fried & crispy won ton strips, and sesame seeds. I liked it because it wasn't drenched in dressing. The dressing was light and flavorful. The only thing that could've made it better for me, would be if it had cilantro. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a pic before I dove in! The Spring Rolls came with hot mustard sauce and a sweet sour sauce. I liked mine without any sauce. The rolls were stuffed with veggies and very crispy. Good stuff! Ordered the family feast special. You choose 5 items off their menu and get a complimentary side of white rice as well. Generous portions and delicious food. Great deal for $45.95!

We ordered take out and sat outside in the courtyard. The Broccoli beef was decent but not great, massive portions and well priced. Quick service

One star thanks to being told on the phone that they do still have the family feast where it's 5 items for 49.99 then showing up to pay and being told its 65. Last time going there. Edit. ******** Just ate the food. Holy Hanabusa what a bleep show. The general tso chicken was 95% breading, almost no chicken in there. The fried rice had clumps, CLUMPS of white rice where it wasn't mixed well or cooked evenly so it was 80% fried rice 20% white rice. It was also extremely dry, which is amazing seeing as how the other dishes were floating in oil. The crab Rangoon was also undercooked and the filling was cold. There was some oil or some kind of dark red sauce that tasted like it came out from underneath the stove. All in all wow. Maybe things are getting expensive so they are cutting corners but being lied to, then served horrible food was too much. Seriously go elsewhere, this place has gone down the toilet.

The price went up and the quality went down. I used to order their roast duck when it was bright red and crispy. Now the duck is brown and wet like it's been stewed. It's not crispy anymore. I also feel like they skimming off peices while it's on the chopping board. The picture is what was on the bottom of the order. It looked like scrapes of duck meat from somebody's leftover. Where is the skin? If you like your roast duck crispy and red don't come here. Also expect to pay more for smaller portions.

Consistently good when ordering the Chinese food vice the American Chinese food aka General Zho Chicken. Good price, tasty tea, and decent tables. We have been multiple times and recommend giving the food a taste.

AMAZING!!! The staff is so pleasant, and the food is scrumptious!! One of the actual few places you can get fried rice and I mean a lot of it!!! You can also get wonton broth and some great fried chicken!
