Beware of the reviews! They are gaming the system. Do not come here. We're from Seattle and love Pho and we eat it regularly. This was the worst experience ever... We ordered the imperial roll, pho, vermicelli and fried rice. The only thing acceptable was the imperial roll. The fried rice was so salty our kids weren't able to eat it. The owners said just add water/soup and wouldn't make us a new one. The pho was the size of a small bowl back home and there was only five pieces of meat... the owners were very rude and not considerate at all. Do not come to this place and try Saigon across the street!

Don't go if you're after atmosphere and tourist town food. DO EAT here if you're a foodie after the real real. The dine-in is small and clean. Wear shorts, t-shirt and flips as there was no A/C. However, the food is real real sick delicious yum, and that trumps everything. The owners are sweet, and know they're serving up the real real. Again, don't go if your after tourist town food. DO EAT here if you're a foodie after the real real. The hater reviews make no sense because the food is real. I cannot wait to eat here again on my next escape. See you soon!

Food so good forgot to take a pic before eating it. 110% 5 stars. We had the tofu pho, bbq beef lemon grass, and veggie fried rolls. Great service at a small local hole in the wall. Park at safeway and walk over, not a big deal. Enjoy!

BE CAREFUL! Hidden fee! They act super friendly with smile and poor English. The food is alright - prob 4 stars for the food, but they charge some “cleaning fee” without telling you! For us, it was $3 on top of only $22 bill, then they will let you tip over the total of $25.

I found this place while looking for vegan options in Waikiki and I'm so glad I stopped in! The lady that served me was so sweet and welcoming and happily accommodated our request for the meals to be made vegan friendly. She even bought me a glass of water while I waited, which wasn't long at all. I got the food to take away and it was absolutely delicious! The food was incredibly tasty and authentic, the tofu and black bean was nostalgic, reminding me of dishes my Chinese grandmother used to make. It's not a fancy place, but if you're after amazing food at reasonable prices I absolutely recommend it. Will gladly eat here again.

If you want some of the best pho and Vietnamese food in Honolulu HI and even the USA mainland, it is this place. Talk about authentic, magical flavors, and undeniable aromas. You have found the perfect place. The grandma who makes her food true to the culture. Must visit if you're in the area!

One of my favorite hidden gems in Honolulu, though its ambiance and utilization of fans rather than AC might trick you into thinking you’re in Ho Chi Minh City. The service is wonderful, the prices are hard to beat ($12 for a bowl of pho) and, most importantly, the pho is delicious. I always leave Pho Kapahulu feeling full and happy.

Came in with a friend yesterday, and so glad we did! Food was delicious!!!! cute spot, few tables inside. I got the lemon grass tofu Bahn mi, my friend got the tofu vegetable pho, and we shared the veggie spring rolls. Everything was so tasty! I tried her broth and I will definitely have to get that next time I want pho. It was so flavorful. Not a huge fan of lemon grass, but I downed that bahn mi. And I’m going back today for another😅 menu prices were really affordable as well!

I'm partial to my favorite spot in Chinatown, but I was really wanting some cold noodle and BBQ pork. So, I walked down to this place and ordered up. The lady was so sweet. My sister and I ordered pho, bun ma with BBQ pork, and a pork chop plate-- yes, we were hungry but took home the leftovers. Also got a Thai tea that was good, too. The lady also gave us a small plate of fried mochi ball topped with powdered sugar. That was delicious! Our total damage was not bad... given our appetites (haha!). Go check it out for yourselves.

This is our go to for Beef Pho and Vegetable Pho. Broth so tasty and love the fresh veggies. Everytime food is consistent and delicious. It is a family ran business and the owners are so nice and have great customer experience everytime I go and we have been going for a couple years now. Got to check it out.

Amazingly good food in a cosy, charming and peaceful atmosphere. Old-school classic. Delightful, personable service at this tiny & tidy Vietnamese restaurant. I loved my clean & flavourful sour soup with perfectly cooked shrimps (canh chua tom), and my dining companion wanted to (but didn’t) drink the sauce that enrobed her peanut curry (spice at a minimal level) with beef. Both dishes came with rice and were perfectly as requested.

Great food overall, had the spring rolls and a bowl of pho with rare beef and brisket. Unfortunately, the brisket must have been a day old and stored on the fridge, as it had a bad taste that comes from unsealed fridge storage. The broth, noodles and rare beef were super, so I would go back and order just the rare beef.

We’ve tried pho in several places in the area and this one is the best. Service was great, made you feel like you were eating at your families house. The service was great! The pho was delicious as well. Highly recommended.

The ladies working here were really sweet, with genuine interest to know more about you. The shop is a bit more rustic/spartan but it’s an experience in its own. I ordered the oxtail pho and the value was amazing for how much I was given. I also ordered the chicken/eggplant peanut curry for takeaway and it was delicious that I could eat it every day.

Tried the vegetarian sour soup and my partner had the chicken curry! Delicious food and lovely owners! Would love to come back to try more things.

Don’t believe the reviews! It’s a really small run down place. Only 4 tables. It doesn’t even have a restroom. I went out of my way to come here because of the review. The older lady there seemed irritated and wasn’t friendly. I don’t understand why it has good reviews. I don’t mind that it’s run down as long as the food is good. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I tried pho, pork chop rice dish, Vietnamese Spring rolls and a green papaya with shrimp salad. The papaya dish was pretty good. Pork chop was just okay. Pho was the worse I have ever had. Soup wasn’t good and noodles were soggy. Also I don’t know what is with the Vietnamese fried spring rolls. It tasted bland. If you want good pho try them in Chinatown instead.

Small homely shop. Authentic Vietnamese food without the jacked up prices of being in Hawaii. I loved all of it from the friendly waitress to the delicious comfort food. After being on deployment for 7 months without any Vietnamese food. I'm glad this was my first meal I had off the ship.

Visiting Hawai'i from Colorado. It's kind of my thing to find new pho restaurants in whatever city I find myself in. I was walking around Honolulu, exploring, when I discovered this little diamond in the rough. I almost walked right past it, it's facade is so unassuming and humble. But I smelled the delicious scent wafting out the open door and decided to go in. So glad I did! Inside were almost all locals. And I got really excited when I realized the staff speak mostly Vietnamese (you know it's going to be authentic food!). I ordered a Veggie and Tofu pho, a Honey Dew "Green Jelly Drink," and a to-go cabbage and chicken salad for my Mom back at the hotel. Let me tell you, we have a lot of pho restaurants in Denver, but this was some of the best pho I've ever had. The broth was so dark and savory. The tofu was cooked to perfection (chewy and well cooked on the outside, soft on the inside, like a medium rare steak). And I had never had a "Jelly drink" before, in CO they have Boba shakes. The Jelly drink is not a shake and the jelly is basically lychee pressed into worm-like shapes. It's good. For such a small and unassuming little restaurant, it has everything that really matters. Two thumbs way up! Aloha!

Great pho place! Super friendly service. Welcome from the onset. The food arrive very quickly. It was fresh and delicious. I ordered the rare beef/tripe pho and added beef balls. They also let us know that their vegetarian pho is made from vegetable broth - I can bring my vegetarian friends next time!

Love this little Vietnamese place. All of their dishes are quite good, from pho to vermicelli to chicken curry. It's all tasty. I like the variety of spring and summer rolls they offer and their dessert items are nice, too, like the coffee jelly served with creamer.

An excellent hole in the wall restaurant. Their Local Spring Rolls are highly recommended! My favorite. I been coming here every chance I get when on this side on Honolulu. Almost everything on the menu is home cooked to near perfection and tastes amazing!

This place was delicious, the food came out fast and the pho was tasty. The prices were really good especially for being in Honolulu

Although the location is not the greatest, this small, family owned pho restaurant was amazing! We were served right as we got there and even given the homemade mochi! This place truly makes you feel at home, as the environment is warm and peaceful!
