Not only was all the food we bought bland and soggy (everything just tasted like nutritional yeast), but it was also way overpriced and deceptively marketed. The wraps ($8.53) contained a just spoonful of filling, but we’re presented to appear full (see photo). We felt extremely ripped off. Will not return.

A little pricey but a real good place to get some good vegan and vegetarian food. I love their chili. They sell some of those Bronners organic shampoo (you can find it cheaper at Costco sometimes). We come here often since this is the closest one to our house. The other thing I really love about this place is that they sell art from Heather Brown. She has some crazy good art products for sale in the back. The best thing about this store is their clean bathrooms. Cleaner than what I have at work...

This store is an average size Down to Earth store on Oahu. They have different items mixed in occasionally that are on off items so look around while shopping. This store has the best vegan gluten free donuts of all the DtE locations on Oahu and has started making raspberry flavored donuts in addition to the traditional vanilla and chocolate. They also carry them with gluten too for those that have that preference. Biggest downside is they finally started making vegan and gluten free muffins again after almost a year, but now use an a common allergen with almond flour.

I like this store because not only do they have typical market things, they also have Fresh produce, groceries and a prepared food section They also have quite a few aisles dedicated to health goods and nutritional items Their hot food section is noteworthy. There are salads, wraps, sandwiches as well as lasagna and vegan/veggie pizza Ample outdoor seating if you want to sit outside and enjoy your food/drinks Located within a small strip mall so ample parking available

Down to Earth is located in Kapolei Commons. They are wheelchair accessible, no lines to get in, no temp check, face mask 😷 must be worn. (COVID guidelines still in effect) I gave this store ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. This store is the only place I know of on the Westside of Oahu, that offers a variety of vegan food. I go here to get vegan food for my brother. The people here are just so friendly, and always help out when I need things. The store is VERY clean, and the options for vegan food (whether it's hot/cold food) is always fresh. I shop So I pick up all of my brothers meals from here. This time, I picked up his lunch and dinner. (see pics) I even got him dessert!! All vegan!! I really enjoy shopping here, even if I don't eat healthy and vegan food!!

Down to Earth is more like heaven on Oahu! I cannot get over how much delicious prepared vegan food they have. I thought I was going to starve while visiting Oahu. All the places in Ko’lina that say they have vegan options, barely do! Down to Earth has a huge prepared food bar, plus all kinds of sandwiches, wraps, a full market and omg the desserts! I wish I could take this place home with me, thank you!!!!

I love the products, freshness and variety, but the pricing is pretty high. I would shop here more often if, by example, the smoothies were not nearly twice as much as another sources in the area. This rating would easily be 5 stars if prices were lower.

I tell everyone to go to Down to Earth to support local, but when supporting local gets too expensive, go to Whole Foods. While DtE is great, some items are severely overpriced. Their cafe is amazing (slow service though so order online to pick up in store). The coffee bar has great options and the hot cups are plastic free.

Prices are on the high side but everything we purchased was good quality. A good place for some specialty items not full of ingredients we prefer not to eat.

I have heard about and passed this store multiple times, and decided to give it a look today and was not disappointed. The fruit and vegetables looked really good, and unlike most shelves in most stores in Hawaii, the shelves were all fully stocked! Anyone looking for organic and natural, this is a must stop for you.

Always enjoy shopping there. The cashier is super friendly. However I wish there were a bigger selection, but its a smaller store, so its understandable. I would love if they sold fresh juices that we can grab and go. Love their little juice wellness shot drinks in the beverage case.

Pitaya Bowl $9.99. Good size, could use 2 fruit toppings, otherwise pretty good. Salad bar now open for self serve:) Always a good option for healthy food. A bit expensive, but healthier food always is🙄. A few tables outside to enjoy your food👍

Just love their selection of goods for vegans and vegetarians. Plus it's not part of a huge conglomeration from outside of Hawaii. Their selections in the ready to eat, while a bit pricey (sold by the pound) is so tasty and mostly vegan, which makes me a very happy camper! It was a nice treat to pick up something that I didn't have to cook!! 😁 their produce is very good as well. I support Down To Earth 👍❤️

This is such a great place for all things vegan! We found some vegan chocolates and chips that are not available in any of the big box stores. Their deli is next level! Pretty much everything on the menu can be made vegan and their ordering system allows for all kinds of customizations. In our one week of stay in Oahu, we probably had 5 meals here. Some of the things we tried and absolutely loved - Grilled cheese, Mediterranean panini, Pitaya bowl, Quesadilla, Mexican burrito. They also have fresh juices, shakes and an extensive salad and hot bar. Compared to how pricey food is in Oahu, eating here is very economical and tasty as well.

Great selection of organic and natural products. Prices are much higher than the box stores but great choices of hard to find items. I always come for their deli items too! We love the vegan donuts and spring rolls.

Good selection of natural foods and supplements, but not cheap. The hot food bar wasn't worth the cost, in my opinion, but I feel that way about most buffet food. Apart from only carrying vegetarian products, it's a good alternative to Whole Foods and a business you can feel better about supporting.

Down to Earth Kapolei had a lot more than the one in town. Very clean store. I gave a four star because cost for some things that you get at a regular store is higher here. They would have gotten 5 stars if their customer service was better. No one greeted customers and no one asked if we needed help when we were looking confused.

Like I said in my review about the Down 2 Earth by University; “I LOVE ALL THE DOWN TO EARTHS ACROSS THE ISLAND !!! Especially their hot & cold food bar and their incredible veggie burgers are perfect to take to the beach for a picnic.”

When your looking for healthy foods or foods for certain dietary restrictions such as keto, vegetarian, or vegan, Down to Earth has those items to fill your pantry, refrigerator, and freezer. There also have fresh baked goods, a restaurant, and a hot food bar for those getting something while on the move. The only downside is that the pricing options is more than Whole Foods and other places.

I'm finding some really fresh produce that is organic and such a great variety. It's very clean and well organized too. I'll definitely be shopping here more often, so glad they're in Kapolei!

Asked two people what isle I could find wheat bran, both had no idea, my response was ...uhhhh might be in grocery... I have a disability and thought it would be easier to inquire so I don't have to walk the whole store to find it... The guy that helped me was shelving product near cooler/deli area, the lady was shelving in beauty. Are you workers not trained to know where products are located store wide?? Every other grocery store associates are aware of where items are! Not very friendly staff, they keep their heads down and don't even ask if you need help......so sad, guess thats why they never last in Hilo...
