It is one of our favorite strip malls because of all the ono food options. Perfect place for when we don't agree on a place to eat. It's also a great one-stop shop before going to the beach or a get-together. Home of the classic Shiros Saimin Haven as well as an Okazuya, Chop Suey, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian food. There's also pho, Palama Supermarket, and other assorted specialty shops. Hopefully, another tasty option will occupy the old Zippy's located at the east end of the shopping center.

Ate at the Kapiolani Coffee Shop for their excellent oxtail soup. Food, service & prices are always good and reasonable there.

Love this place because of variety of restaurant. Like Thai, Korean, Hawaiian, Japanese and Chinese. The only downside is the parking. Always full most especially on a weekend.

Some good food here! They say that this location is going to be redeveloped. In the meantime it's a bit on the ragged side. But great grinds!

I like the place cos it's easy to know where to eat. You have the choices right infront of you, which restaurant you want to eat. And they have a market for a quick grocery shopping.

The parking is a problem. It is hard at best to get spot in the early evening. They need many more handicap parking spots. However, they have a good selection of places to eat.

Would be nice if they would have picnic tables placed outside these stores. So you could sit down rest a few minutes.

If your not sure what your in the mood for food wise they should have you covered. As well as a small store and a cape store, as well as a tattoo establishment..

I love the Kabuki Okazuya lunch takeout shop. Waimalu Chop Suey has good Chinese fare. Shiro Saimin is popular but always seemed to be understaffed. Baldwins shaved ice is one of the best on Oahu, - right up there w/Waiola's. Chun Wah Kam makes decent dim sum but seems to round out quite often and quite early with choices.

I went 2 Kabuki for take out food the 2 server's were very rude! I'm a senior I do not need to be told how I want my plate especially since I told them that I've never had it served that way & still complains over & over again I hope they don't talk to their grandparents the way they talked to me . Then on to Palama Market asking for a certain noodle dish they showed me a couple & I told them it wasn't the one I wanted & again they argued that it was so I left so my afternoon wasn't the greatest

I personally love to eat at Waimalu Chop Suey. I can't help but to observe the cleanliness of anywhere I shop or eat so here it is....Waimalu Shopping Center needs to have the place cleaned up better. Get the walkways pressure washed. Maybe have someone cleaning overnight when the businesses are closed. I'm sure it would be appreciated

First I went to my friends lacquer store, but he wasn't there. Then I was walking pass Kabuki's, and I saw the food, so I backed up, and stood in line. It took about 35-40 minutes to get inside. Making my order, and the food was outstanding. So anyone want to eat okazu, make a stop at Kabuki's. From 5'30am to 2'00 pm
