Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Very lowkey park with an insane view. It’s a little bit hard to find parking but it is just a small walk up the hill to get to the park. I would recommend the park for a nice picnic either with your family or a date. The Christmas tree is also pretty cute. People often mention park, Honolulu, views, view, nice, city, night,

I do not recommend this place for first visitors and tourist. So many people are coming since 1980’. SNS say that very beautiful secret spot, but in fact, many trouble happens. 《Reason 1: ☝️: that park mixed up Honolulu city&county property and private property. It’s hard to understand exactly No trespassing zone. (See below the reviews) 《Reason 2: ✌️private property owner is calling Police. (See below the reviews) 《Reason 3:🤟 police get arrested people for Trespassing second degree and go to court. Police! Honolulu city, think about it. If you wanna keep safe the this Christmas 🎄 tree park.

Once you make the small hike up the access road you have a nice 360• view of Honolulu, Daimond Head, Kaimuki, Kahala, n Koko head. No handicap access or public restrooms. Just a nice view.. Enjoy

Definitely my favorite park in Honolulu. I took a girl here on our first date and we had the best time ever. Incredible view. Perfect for a picnic, but keep your food in a basket because there's a lot of dogs (which is always fun) during sunset. Also the park closes I think after dark but stargazing there was epic.

Nice park to get amazing views of Honolulu/Kaimuki and circle all the way around towards Hawaii Kai. Too bad the park is so small and you most likely won't ever really have the place to yourself due to kids and/or homeless being there.

***DATE NIGHT APPROVED LOCATION!*** Most locals know this park by "Christmas Tree Park" The reason being is because there is a man-made pole there from the remnants of a once radio tower that is lined with Christmas lights that are configured in the shape of a Christmas tree. As winter comes and the holidays is approaching after thanksgiving usually the lights are turned on at night in green and can be seen from different areas in Honolulu. Its quite beautiful. FAST FACTS: Please be mindful of the residents that live near this park, especially when going in the evening. The park does have hours, and there have been incidences of police coming in at night because of noise complaints but other than that if you come here and practice respect, by not being too noisy, obnoxious then you'll definitely avoid having to be put in that situation. PARKING: Its residential street, so you can only park along the side streets in front of homes. DAY: This park is really peaceful with breathtaking panoramic views of the city, Manoa, Waialae, Kahala and also Hawaii Kai. I recommend coming here as later in the day around 1-2hrs before sunset. Its much cooler and if your a dog owner its a perfect time as other dog owners also come around this time and play around here. There are trash bins so no problem not having a place to dispose of garbage. There are lots of room here to place a mat on the comfortable grass. Perfect for picnics, and just lounging while waiting for the sunset. NIGHT: In the evening you'll be surrounded by the lights of Honolulu. When it is not winter time this park is pitch dark and is only lit by the surrounding city and neighborhood lights. As breathtaking as it is during the daytime, the night view is another treat on its own. Its another story when its a full moon, a view worth seeing. Overall this park is one of a few date night spots I recommend on going to after dinner or dessert (Via Gelato down the road). It's a great place to talk, reflect, relax, and just to find a peaceful place to just unwind while looking at the quiet and peaceful ambiance of the city in the evening.

Fantastic hiew of the diamond head & downtown Honolulu , accessible cars can drive on the foot of the park and just a couple of minutes uphill walking you will reach the top, its a perfect place to get fresh air, cool breeze, have your tent too, and it's famous spots for fireworks viewing

No restrooms, no playground, picnics on the grass and dogs walking through does occur. Late night police are vigilant. Great views.

Parking is a pain, but there are beautiful views from the top. You can access this ridge from two sides. From the back is a closed access road, and on the other side is a terraced field and stairs.

It’s a great place to take your edgy girlfriend to impress her. She will think you’re super original. Take some 35mm pictures too because the views are based. I bet nobody ever thought of doing that before.

It's a nice park, great view and everything. The only downside is that recently a lot of tourist and other people have came so it's always crowded now. It's a nice park if you live close because it's a short walk. If you do go there please don't trash the place.

A treasure! Great views in all directions. Maybe bring a sunset picnic for the grassy lawn. A short walk up a paved service road could be a barrier to the physically less abled, and no facilities.

Cool smaller park but massive cell towers. Good views. Local park.

Adorable little hilltop park that requires a good, steep walk.
