This place is one of the worst places a tourist can come to. This area has high crime activities drinking, drugs, bad homeless people living behind the bathrooms fights breaking out, filthy language being heard throughout the park disgusting bathrooms, the park has never had any renovations done to it since it was constructed many moons ago until recently with a roof having to be repaired because it was caving in over the gym. Where does all the money go every year that waimanalo gets from state and federal money? We get a lot of money every year hundreds of thousands one year it was over a million to keep our community looking it's best and to improve on our facilities that our kids can come and learn, play, develope good relationships with their neighbors and to be able to do this in a safe environment. Look around you then go to your yearly waimanalo budget report thats available for public viewing see what we get each year and tell me wheres the money going? I'll tell you where its going in someones bank account!!!!!!OVERSEAS!!! The community of Waimanalo has to pull their heads out of the beach and start taking back their town before its too late! Before the white man get every inch of nalo then see what they do nalo will never be the same they want our facilities to crumble so they can come in and get control of them that's why the ones in charge of our budget Isen't doing anything their being told what to do and that's nothing! Other than that the park is lovely come on down bring the kids and don't forget grama too!! God bless waimanalo. Have a nice day.🕵️‍♀️

Not crowded! Its still nice and inviting. I think they need more kid friendly activities or sports events happening here.

There is plenty if space for kite flying, Frisbee. Volleyball, and picnics. Also available is baseball diamond, men/women bathroom, outside faucet.. I was here on a Sunday and went with hand sanitizer and t.p in hand but was pleasantly surprised to fine clean bathroom with t.p.

Great park. They just redid the parking lot. There's a play ground and a bathroom and a big gym. Kid friendly for sure. Good family destination

Love the gym and community but after the state, well, taxpayers spending so much money and the time it took to fix the roof of the gym, the gym roof still leaks when it rains. So sad!

It's a great space for the dozens of soccer games that are played on Saturday morning, but there isn't much shade. It goes without saying that a tent, umbrella, shelter, etc is critical if you're going to watch a game.

Spending every weekend at parks around the island for kids sports I feel like a good judge of parks at this point. This one is huge, incredibly beautiful, always has a nice cool breeze and shade.

A surprisingly peaceful and fairly clean public park in the heart of Waimanalo town. Large open fields to do what you choose. A few resident vagrants in the area that usually loiter nera the restrooms.

Made a brief stop while rerouting around traffic. Very large quiet park. I stopped midway midweek so large parking lots almost empty. Plenty of green grass. Really not that much shade. Great views of the mountains. If beaches seem over crowded this is not a bad second choice for a round the island picnic stop. No tables or benches seen.

Large grassy areas, small playground, and almost empty basketball and tennis courts! This park was just what we needed this afternoon!

Great open fields for sports. I'm not sure of the activities in the gym.
