Pearl Harbor Hangar 79

👍👍 One of my favorite aviation museums I have ever been in. Seeing the bullet holes in the windows made it really hit home how horrifying it must have been there on December 7th, 1941.

Wonderful, historic place. So proud to have stood where so much happened on 12-7-1941.

It’s an eye opening experience to see the WWII aircrafts and the bullet holes on the top window.

Not a big hanger and only few aircraft are displayed, but a B-17 told a story only the young man in WWII who flown them can tall of their courage and patriotism. It was quite hot inside the hanger, and you need to make sure you look up to the window of the hanger door because some of the window still show the bullet hole that shot from the Japanese attack Zeros. So don’t miss that.

Wonderful aviation exhibits and historical displays from 7 December 1941 to the present day. Watched an early premier of Top Gun: Maverick in the hangar... what an exciting and memorable experience!

👍👍 A fantastic tour of Ford Island, the USS Nevada, USS Utah and USS Arizona memorials/ships. There is a 23 minute video and museum tour prior to shoving off, both of which are very good. Total time of the tour is about 1.5 hours. Well worth the price....which is free. Military ID required for tour. M...
