Great little coffee shop right outside and connected to to Moana Surfrider! Delicious robust coffee and fast friendly service. Place is bright and spotless... definitely will come here every morning during our fabulous stay.

Very convenient location by the Moana Surfrider Hotel. Cute little coffee shop. Knowledgeable & friendly staff. I ordered the Hawaiian Latte. It was a tad sweet but delicious nonetheless. Coffee is organic. Pastries are made in-house. Will definitely have to try the cookie next time. I had my Latte to go and enjoyed it on my balcony with a decadent coconut sweetbread from the Farmer's Market -- such a delicious combo!

Very good overall, just extremely long wait given it’s location. Found everything to be good, got the chocolate croissant, iced Hawaiian latte, açaí bowl and a cold brew. I think the cold brew was the better option of the two. Very charming and bright interior, just a bit difficult to fully enjoy and take it all in with how busy it is.

I wish they have a different size options for iced latte. $10 for my Hawaiian oat latte. Very sweet. I normally don’t do sugar on my coffees and assumed it will be like a regular latte like anywhere else(without sugar) but came out sweetened :/

Loved the Hawaiian lattes! We went here our first day of vacation because it was the earliest coffee shop open near our hotel across the street. We ended up going every single day, and on the last day the baristas welcomed me by name. I would get the Hawaiian latte hot, my friends would get it iced with almond or oat milk. I also very much liked the Chia pudding and the chocolate croissants. It was quick service, clean, everyone was very nice despite them sometimes being quite busy.

Got a couple of their iced drinks and an acai bowl for breakfast today. The cafe is in a very convenient location (beside Moana Surfrider) so it’s understandably busy, but the line moves pretty quick. The acai was good, the drinks I thought weren’t out of this world but still pretty okay.

Adorable coffee shop (adjacent to the Moana Surfrider, but accessible from the road) with lots of charming touches and a great coffee souvenir section, BUT the actual coffee was a bit disappointing. Flat white turned out to be a latte, but that‘s probably to please everyone. Will give it another try as the service was super friendly and there is plenty of comfortable seating, too.

Loved the Extra Fancy coffee! Bought coffee and a Ham and Swiss breakfast sandwich. Clean and spacious interior, quality coffee selection including coffee beans for purchase.

We got the Hawaiian latte, we went back twice. We made sure to buy some coffee to take home. A little pricey but the Swiss and ham croissants were tasty!

Had their Hawaiian coffee , espresso and tiramisu today (21st of June,22) .The coffee maker (the tall boy with curly here) made amazing coffee and I absolutely loved it! He did mention it was sweet , And loved the macadamia coconut flavour . I will definitely go back and have coffee there while I’m in Waikiki 😀.

Had breakfast here twice. Ordered the cheese and ham croissant, and tried several of their coffee options, including the Hawaiian Latte👍🏽 Also they’re one of the few places open early enough, and not too crowded. A lot of places around Waikiki open past 11AM🤦🏻‍♀️

Used to live this place despite the high prices for its great coffee and yummy pastries. Things have changed in two years that we could not come here. Staff is mean. Espresso drinks are a bad excuse (Even drip coffee is better)! Prices are even higher. I will never come back.

I visited 2 days ago and absolutely loved this little coffee shop. It’s very serene, beautifully designed, and has delicious iced lattes. While I was enjoying the cafe the barista kindly reminded each table that the shop was closing in ~5 minutes. Because of that experience, this morning I called to place an order by phone to save time, but was politely redirected to place a mobile order via their website. It was an easy process and I got an email confirmation almost instantly. Fast forward to the pickup process and it wasn’t pleasant. There are no obvious indicators of where to pickup a mobile order. I asked the cashier & she mumbled that the barista at the front was making it. I waited for 10 more minutes and watched about 4 people order and get their drinks from that barista. After 20 minutes had gone by since my order was placed, I asked again. The drinks had been sitting on the counter, melting and ready to go. I could as well have just placed an order in person and skipped the online process and received fresher drinks. 2 stars because my first experience was awesome, but ~$7 per latte is too much to pay for a mishap like this.

came for the convenience, stayed for the coffee & vibes. The baristas here are the friendliest and most patient people I’ve ever come across. They flawlessly handle a line that goes out the door from 6am until about 10 or 11 every day. Majorly impressed by their customer service here. The food is good, my family took a major liking to the quiche in particular. The coffee is even better, the baristas know what they’re doing and you truly can’t go wrong with anything you get here. The espresso is amazing if you’re into that. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’ve spent a good amount of money and time here while using the space to study and anyone that continues to show this much hospitality in a pandemic deserves some recognition. Also, the music is mostly pretty solid.

It’s located right at the entrance driveway of Moana Surfrider. Really good Hawaiian latte with mac nut coconut syrup. Limited seating at peak hour, no bathrooms.

It is a good coffee spot. They have tasty coffee and great croissants that they can warm up. Croissants are delicious. And they have an açaí bowl that does not have a banana in its base (that was a challenge to find one as I am allergic to bananas). They always have a line outside, and they always have a weird order of giving drinks and food. You will get your croissant in a min after ordering it, but you will get your drinks in 15-20 min.. and you sit there and think, what’s happening to my drink. If you need to sit somewhere and do some work, it is a good place. They have some nice windows where you can just sit with your laptop and sip your coffee. Overall it is a great place, with great coffee and beyond-delicious croissants. What else do you need at 9 am? :)

The best latte I’ve ever had!! I absolutely love their Iced Hawaiian Latte, I wish we had them back where I’m from. The service is always super fast and friendly as well. My husband and I keep going back every morning, and will continue on the rest of our trip.

The açaí bowl here leaves much to be desired. Not a smooth melty bend, more of a thick icy blend… if you know what I mean. The matcha latte with oat milk I ordered was good as was the croissant. It’s a cute coffee shop that also has a nice retail section. It is expensive but everything in Honolulu is. $32 quick breaky.

Really enjoyed the Hawaiian latte; a coconut and macadamia nut flavoured latte. I found it’s quite unique (as someone who isn’t from Hawaii) although many cafes will offer a similar rendition of these flavours. I think the merchandise for sale is also cute, albeit overpriced. Seating is not many, but I guess most people do walk around on the street rather than sit inside.

Located in the front of the Moana Surfrider resort, Honolulu Coffee is a cute little coffee shop that serves various eats and of course coffee. Sadly, we didn't find this coffee shop until the last day of our trip to Hawaii. We stopped in shortly before our trek to the airport and picked a couple of coffees and my wife ordered the Fall Acai Bowl. We were told that it was the last day for the Fall Acai Bowl. My wife loved it. I'm not sure what all of the ingredients were, but it included banana, apple, various nuts, and a spiced honey drizzle. The coffee was very good. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly.

The staff are very friendly, and the coffee is good. I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of vegan options for savoury and sweet, also $1.50 extra charge for oat milk. Get rid of the surcharge for plant milks and offer more vegan food (pastries, sweets, savoury bites).

Waited 2 years to get back here to get that Hawaiian latte! Did not disappoint. Was a bit saddened when one of the workers accused me of stealing an acai bowl. I tried to explain to him that I had no idea what he was talking about but he didn't seem to be persuaded. It became a semi public spectacle and not how I envisioned my long- awaited Hawaiian latte experience to be. Also ordered acai bowl, overnight oats, croissant, green tea, oat bar... love this place barring that peculiar encounter. UPDATE: spoke with supervisor couple hours later. She recalled the incident, apologized, gave me a few drink tokens. Supervisor handled it nicely. I then went to their nearby Sheraton location and had a disappointing experience. Please see my review for that location also left on the same day
