👍 Very nice staff, quite and modern interior, in a prime location. I found the nitro cold brew to be very good but didn’t love the iced americano, might just be the flavor profile of the espresso bean that I personally didn’t like. The mocchi dessert was fun to eat and super soft and spongy. Definite... People often mention coffee, good, espresso, scone, latte,

Got their Kinako latte and Spicy Masala Chai (definitely a zinger! It’s quite spicy from the chai and I love it!) the Kinako is kinda plain though. Tasted like a normal latte, not sure what I was expecting from Soybeans. Also had their sweet potato mochi, super squishy and limited sweet:)

Love scone, they have maybe 5 different flavors, sweet and salty, taste like scone but also a little like Muffin, must try! We buy box of scone to go for our next day breakfast, just bake it 5 minutes then good with coffee, wonderful morning.

This was my first time trying out 9Bar HNL, and I gotta say this might be my new favorite coffee place. I got myself a 12oz latte as usual and also decided to get a chocolate chip cookie. I had a short conversation with the barista, who told me they use a medium roast blend. The latte had a nice smooth and silky texture, and the temperature was perfect for drinking. Sadly I did not have my friend with me to discuss flavor profiles. I’ll have to bring him here next time to hone in on the flavor compositions. All I can say for now is that I enjoyed drinking this cup of coffee. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the exterior and interior; I was preoccupied with wanting coffee. But from what I remember, there is some outdoor seating, and inside, they have delicious baked treats and some merchandise. I noticed that if you buy beans, you’ll get an 8 oz drink on the house. They also had some discounted baked treats from the day prior. I’ll be returning with my friend so that he can see what 9bar HNL has to offer.

The female employee, forgot her name but a total sweetheart, bakes all of their unique goods fresh daily! And the coffee creations are also excellent and all their own; bravo.

The lemon poppy seed scone was served warm. It’s a sweet moist lemony pastry filled with poppy seeds. You have an elective choice to top your scone with a rich lemon flavored confection glaze that you drizzle over the scone suffusing it with poppy seed that are laden through out this dulcified delectable glazed topping.

For legit, high-quality, origin-attentive, coffee in destination-Kakaʻako, this is the place. Even the decaf, sourced from a Big Island grower, will make you return. Or just say: ‘Yes, more, please’ to your next americano. The large muffin–scones, affectionately called scruffins, in flavours like lemon-poppyseed, white chocolate chip-matcha, strawberry-mango-cream cheese, everything bagel-cream cheese, et cetera, are tender and delicious and have a pleasing variety of textures. The assortment of coffee drinks is large, without losing focus on top-quality coffee. Even the daily drip is a reason to go to this local café. Indoor & outdoor seating available.

Got the black sesame and kinako latte. Kinako was kind of hard to spot flavor wise on the palette, but the sesame was so good. Staff was also v friendly. Try this place out if you love these flavors.

Surprised to find a single origin here, most cafes I find have blends. I’ve had a decent amount of Costa Rica coffees, but this one tasted a little different. I normally drink coffee black and this was stronger/little more bitter than typical. Dry aftertaste. For me, the flavor profile includes nutty and little bit of spices. Barista was super friendly at 7:30 in the morning, much appreciated.

My partner goes there when I'm at work a ton which is adorable. I absolutely love their Gelato coffee drink. I forget what it's called but it's amazing and there's no need for sugar or creamer with it

Their coffee is perfect. They really care about their drinks, the entire espresso process is impeccable and it really reflects in the tasty experience of the beverages. Why anyone would go to the starbs around the corner is beyond me.

One of my favorite coffee shops. They have single origin specialty coffee beans and pour over style of coffee brewing, a must have for the coffee lovers out there.

Food and coffee are always great and worth the wait (if there is one).

Honestly excellent food although the portions were tiny. Interesting takes on drinks and the food takes a little time to prepare because it’s all fresh. High quality ingredients. If you’re in a rush possibly go elsewhere but if you have a few mins and need a bite this absolutely fits the bill.

Good coffees and pastries but the bowls in particular the "Cali bowl" is really good 😋 plus the service/people working there always amazing... My favorite place by far in the area.

Visually it's a great place. It looks cool and offers a variety of hot and cold beverages. UNFORTUNATELY, I decided to order espresso ($3!) and that was probably the worst espresso in my whole life. It tasted as if someone had squeezed lemon in my coffee. The girl said it the type of coffee beans. They served it with a glass of water (and that's how good bars do it in Italy, so yay), but the water was sparkling water, which not everyone likes and completely cancel the taste of coffee you have in your mouth (I was actually grateful for that!). My friend had a Jump Start Latte and that was really good! I'm giving 3 stars because I'm sure it's a good places, I was just unlucky with my coffee!

This place is great. The coffee is on point, literally. The food (Cali bowl) is unreal, fresh and healthy. Don’t get me started on the scuffins. You gotta try this place. Usually pretty mellow too. Highly recommend.

I love 9Bar. The coffee is some of the best I have had. The food and baked goods are delicious. Lastly, for an Arizona boy who craves Mexican food... the chicken carnitas (yes, chicken) is legit.

Tasty brew! Best espresso technique I've seen in a cafe.

Very friendly service. Good coffee. The blueberry scone is super fresh, not too sweet, and delicious with real whole blueberries.

My go-to coffee shot. Great friendly staff with awesome coffee. They have some talented baristas that can whip up anything you want from espresso to cordado to matcha latte. Even have dairy free options like oat milk. The scuffins are incredible and they are always making new combination like banana chocolate chip and everything scuffins.
