I regret that I didn’t come here earlier, although I often passed by! My friend treated me to ube ice cream today and OMG I loved it! 😍 It’s like I’ve been looking for just such a taste all my life! It's not too sweet, it has a slight nutty taste (like pistachio), but it's not nutty! And the waffle is sooo delicious! 😋 In general, I have become a fan, now I will only go here for ice cream! Guys, don’t pass by, it’s really tasty, try it and you won’t regret it! If you show your local ID (kamaaina), there will be a discount))

Save room for this dessert! Highly recommend Matcha shave ice is fantastic and refreshing. Having it on the cone is good too. If they have Yuzu as flavor of the month, get it! Super delicious!

I thought I knew my favorite flavored ice cream, but after eating Maikos Ube soft served ice cream I realized I was wrong and after mixing that with their new blueberry soft served ice cream I came to the grand conclusion that there is no life after death.

The best matcha soft serve! The matcha flavor in the soft serve was strong but not bitter at all! It's so good that I kept coming back during my week long stay here. The service was wonderful. They were very careful about providing a clean and safe environment for customers. You need to wear a mask when ordering and you will be asked to wait outside to be called to pick up. They place the ice cream onto a shelf and use a small tong to get napkin and spoon for contactless experience. Other than service, you won't regret trying their matcha soft serve!! It's so so delicious!!

A great matcha experience! The ice cream is so smooth, the menu is delightful and concise- plus they have special flavors you can have for limited times! I will absolutely visit again if I have the chance!

For the ultimate matcha lover. Holy smokes. The soft serve matcha was sooooo good. Like a beautiful Starbucks matcha latte with 12 scoops. The matcha flavor is definitely there. Highly recommend

I tried the matcha and Ube swirl in a waffle cone. I very much enjoyed it. It had a texture that was kinda a cross between soft serve and sorbet. The ladies working here are extremely nice! 10/10 customer service.

We ordered Maiko Special (Matcha) and Uji Kintoki. Those were so good! Especially, Maiko special has a jelly, Azuki beans, sponge cake, corn flakes inside with ice cream topping. It was a great combination. I didn’t know they have a kamaaina discount so I couldn’t get it. But if you are kamaaina, don’t forget to use it😄✨

My fav matcha soft serve in Hawaii. They have occasional seasonal flavors but I always stick to matcha as it won’t go wrong. Waffle cone is delicious! If you have hawaii ID they give Kama’aina discount which is nice.

The must-go! One of the best ice creams I have eaten. I would highly recommend taking shaved ice that comes with ice cream or gold-plated ice cream. The matcha taste is so rich as if you are drinking a matcha latte. There is not much to rate here or to say more, as it is just a kiosk where you place your order and pick it up in a few minutes. Just make sure you pass by :)

I like the matcha ice cream but my experience was not so good. They gave us wrong order. And they were not apologizing or anything. We told them it's ok, and we just took the wrong icecream . I guess they are not train to fix order. Oh well. I wish they give everyone napkins for icecream cone because it started to drip from the bottom. The parfeit was ok. I got tired of eating jello on the bottom. I wish they put icecream on the bottom too, so it's not just watery jello. It's nice little spot for tourists to go. Just make sure they get your order right. Lol

Delicious Matcha, Ube and black sesame, soft serves. Slightly more icy than creamy in texture, but the flavour is ON POINT! The Matcha has delicious bitter and sweetness and a balance of umami which was such such a treat.

This little dessert shop is heaven-sent for the burning hot weather... Oooohhh it is Perfect! The shop is located close to marukame udon.

This is my favorite matcha soft serve chain (which we are also lucky to have in the Bay Area) so the Hawaii location is a great spot to grab dessert. They are conveniently located near all the major downtown resorts and shops. I love how creamy the soft serve tastes without being too icy over being too overpowering in matcha flavor. The waffle cone pairs perfectly and didn’t taste stale.

This was a wonderful ending of the day. The matcha soft serve was so satisfying. My daughter beat me to the ice cream before I can take a picture. The matcha flavor was rich but not overpowering. It wasn’t too sweet so you can enjoy every bite of it. It ended our day in a high note.

I can't stop coming here. The matcha green tea ice cream is so so good....I think about it all the time. You can get it swirled with whatever the limited time flavor is. The swirl with ube (purple yam) was absolutely delicious. The swirl with strawberry was not nearly as good.

Very nice little shaved ice spot. They specialize in green tea - matcha flavors. Definitely wouldn’t want to miss trying this spot if you like matcha!

As a matcha lover, I adore how they sprinkle matcha powder on top of the soft serve for an even more intense matcha flavor😍🍵 We got the Maiko special which was good but next time will probably just order the soft serve since that’s our favorite part. Looking forward to the next visit!

I think this place has very good matcha ice cream and tea. I’d say it’s not cheap, not even close to what it should cost, however I also understand that it’s in Waikiki. 3 stars because like I said it’s got good ice cream, but the amount they give you is bit underwhelming. I don’t know,,, I’m used to when you twirl the ice cream, you still fill the center portion. This place, it’s hollow. LoL.

The first word in their name is Matcha. What is the product they didn't have? Thats right, matcha. Of course, you don't know this until after waiting for 10 minutes for your time to order. A sign or someone tell us would have been nice. The only option was sweet potatoe. Wish I had just walked away.
