Mahalo iā 'oe !! A cosy and chilled, no fuss and laid back quaint little coffee joint tucked into the Banyan Waikiki hotel. It's also an internet Cafe which gives it a cool, retro and old school kinda vibe which is one thing I loved. Tucked away inside a cool looking hotel with some beautiful Koi fish, this place is dope so you can sip on your frozen coffee frappé whilst watching the fishies. Super tasty coffee, offers Low sugar syrup and free substitute for plant-based milk alternatives, casual fare and customized drinks with super friendly staff. A great coffee house joint for a more down to earth feel off the Waikiki strip and wouldn't hesitate to return. Support local businesses!

The fact that I have to write a review like this during a trip with my family makes me angry. We are staying in the same building and have thought that we should definitely stop by this place for breakfast or lunch. Two days ago, while playing at Waikiki Beach around lunchtime, I wanted to buy a burger at a nearby burger place, but my husband asked me to help out with a restaurant in the same building. We ordered 4 sandwiches and an acai bowl for a family of four. The acai balls came out first, and the woman who was making the sandwiches handed me a paper bag saying you're all set, so I took the acai ball together myself (she forgot to put them together) and traveled back to the beach. But there were only three sandwiches. The woman who was making the sandwich earlier answered the phone, and she admitted she only put three in and told me to come back... You can't go back and forth twice. We had to eat quickly and play with the kids. I had to endure the inconvenience of buying and eating an additional burger in front of the beach, but it was NO problem, it could happen in life. When I went to the cafe around 5pm that afternoon, the door was already closed in the early afternoon, so I couldn't get the leftover sandwiches, but that was no problem at all. Their business hours normally close early, and understandable. The problem is the next day. Went back in the morning. There were a total of 4 people, including the lady who made the sandwich yesterday, and 3 other staffs. When I said that I was that person yesterday, everyone had a sullen expression on their faces and I was embarrassed by the unpleasant and awkward atmosphere. No one told me "Ah it's you, sorry for yesterday!" No one could say a word, and even the young blonde clerk bluntly took the sandwich out of the fridge yesterday and gave it to me. I was so shocked. How could you hand me a sandwich that looks like a wet newspaper that's almost 24 hours old from yesterday? No one had a bright expression on their face, and there was no sign of apology at all, and they kept their mouths shut rolling their eyes and pretended not to know. I was so pathetic and angry with the situation. You can make a little mistake, but we can solve it with just a smile! I asked if I can get a new one, and no one answered, and the woman said to me, "It's been in the refrigerator, what's the problem?" I thought I would be very upset when I got the food, so asked for a refund. But she could not figure out how to refund, and no other staff was not interested in the problem. Ohmygosh....so my husband told them we're ok with 2 coffees (almost the same amount to 1 sandwich) if easier for them. The best part starts from here...As a family of four with two grown-ups, we needed four straws. But suddenly I heard another female staff deliberately pass by next to us and yelled at us intending for us to listen, "Do you buy two coffees and take four straws?" Thank you for the EXTRAORDINARY poor service of the four of you. You are the worst ambassadors of Hawaii ever. I have never been treated like this ever. How would you feel if you were treated like that? Shame on you. Please don't make hasty excuses. I'm not that narrow-minded, and I went there again in a good mood. 1 star is too much for you. If there were a minus rating, I would vote for that.

Cute little cafe at the bottom of the hotel; there is no entrance from the street side, you have to go into the open air lobby to find the coffee shop. The staff was beyond friendly and welcoming! I got the iced “haupia latte” and it was a delicious coconut flavor that mixed perfectly with oat milk, and a generous amount of whipped cream! I also enjoyed a breakfast sandwich with sausage on croissant, which was fresh and hot. They have a few tables to sit at inside with power outlets and wifi, which is always a plus. They also have sandwiches, wraps, salads, and smoothies so it’s more than just a delicious coffee spot.

We are spending a few days of vacations in the Banyan Waikiki building, the second day we were going to another place to have breakfast on Kuhio Avenue but we discovered this cafeteria inside our building, the Makai Tower 1 just before reaching the lobby where the desk is. We went in to look and immediately changed our minds. Is spacious, has 6 tables, offers a great variety of coffees, fresh smoothies, delicious pastries, healthy salads and the best matcha I have ever tasted. True story. Also free wifi. A very warm place attended by very attentive people. I am writing this from the high table that we chose the first day, it is already part of our vacation routine. I highly recommend this cozy place for a relaxing Breakfast / Lunch experience.

Worst Thai Tea I have ever had. Bad service. People had attitude. If I could give them -2 stars I would. Never again.

Great little find on the ground floor of the Banyan, not what I expected at all. Coffee can come in a mug and not paper which we prefer, good cakes and a reasonable range of other food offered. A breath of fresh air if you’re looking for something other than Star$s or ABC

Staff was friendly and welcoming, a true sense of Aloha. And since it's October any of the drinks can be made with pumpkin flavors. Had vegan pumpkin latte with oat milk

It's a small coffee shop under the Banyan building. I had a hot cappuccino and mocha frappe. They were nice. The coffee was very strong. There was a bakery at the store too. I'll try them later, and will update my review.

Being a small business owner, who takes his reviews seriously and does his best to earn 5-star reviews, it pains me to write this. We’re on vacation and sought out a small, local, non-chain place for breakfast before we set out on our busy day. They were understandably busy in the morning, so there was no place for the three of us to sit. So, we took our bag of sandwiches back to our hotel (about a 15-minute walk), opened the bag, and everything was wrong. I wasn’t going to go back, so we just dealt with it. My sandwich, which should have been on an everything bagel was on a croissant. It was flat and slapped together. I’ve been impressed with all of the food places around here, but this place was average. Everybody has bad days, and I guess this was a bad one for them. Sorry.

Cosy cafe. But the younger girl at the counter was very unfriendly. I'm not exactly sure why but I don't think she wanted me to be in the cafe. It felt like she was racist, which is strange given the cafe is in a hotel that accommodates foreigners. The older woman seemed nice but the younger lady would benefit from learning better customer service and understanding how to communicate better. Perhaps some cross cultural training would help as I'm very confused as to why she didn't want me there.

I cannot say enough good things about this little coffee place! This was the first coffee stop in Hawaiian and I asked for the best Hawaiian local/native drink and they recommended the Haupia. This honestly was the best iced coffee drink I’ve ever had! Staff was so nice and environment was awesome. 5 stars!

Stopped by in the morning before our tours and I love how this shop makes our hotel hallway smell like coffee everyday. It’s quite dark inside and it’s more like a quick pit stop than a working location, I’d say. The service was very friendly. The drinks were made quickly. We got the haupia latte. It really packed a punch! It was less sweet than I thought, which I enjoyed. If you told me this came from a swanky hipster coffee shop, I would’ve believed you. The matcha latte was a bit powdery, similar to the flavor of the package sold at Trader Joe’s. I’d opt for their coffee-based drinks instead.

I live close by so I've been here a few times! 5 stars to the folks working here and the mood of the place (great lighting and vibes!). 3 for the food and coffee... bagels and such are always rock hard if taken to go, and the coffee is okay. However, the lemon bars there are pretty darn good! :)

Parking in Waikiki banyan. Food is so good! Coffee shop with awesome baked goods and fresh squeezed juices! Amazing cookies and cream cheesecake and cake! Burritos to go and sandwiches already in the deli case and ready to grab and go! Highly recommend the smoothie too! Gluten free peanut butter cookies are so ono! Everything here is worth it! A hidden treasure in the middle of Waikiki! Actually it's closer to the zoo but definitely worth a stop!

Solid coffee and treats. The staff was great! Just for pick up as there's only one table and it gets crowded during morning rush.

I loved their bagels. I also bought the chocolate muffin and it was super delicious. I found this place on the second day of my trip and went there every day after that. The ladies working there were friendly. I recommend this place %100.

Nice and cozy place, went here for breakfast and it wasn’t too busy. The breakfast sandwich with spinach, egg, tomato, and cheese was great, as was the cinnamon cake and açaí bowl. Would love to go here again.

The most amazing cold brew is sold in a refillable mason jar. The açaí bowl was delicious. This little gem is tucked inside the Waikiki Banyan property on the ground floor. Easy to miss, but go inside you won’t be disappointed.

Banyan Breeze is a hidden jewel! They are offering a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches, coffees of various sort, wraps, salads, Açaí bowls, yogurts & more. Very attentive and the food is high quality and presentation is pretty too! They have 2 tall tables that we took and 4 normal level tables. I definitely recommend this place.

The coffee is on point, strong flavorful. The food here is HomeMade for real. In the vicinity, if you need to grab and go these tasty meals are not frozen stuff. It is also nice to enjoy a coffee in the shop, hidden gem.

They have a really great açaí bowl with chia pudding and their mango guava smoothie was perfect too! Service was really efficient and fast even though they were busy. This is an awesome little hole in the wall on your walk to the beach! I feel really lucky that I just happened to be staying at the Waikiki Banyan so I could find this place.
