This has got to be my favorite bubble tea shop in Hawaii. The drinks are super creative and the logo is really funny. This Cotton Candy bubble tea also somehow tastes exactly like cotton candy if it was liquid! It was such a brilliant shade of blue as well. Loved it and would definitely come back.

Go to place for any kind of "bubble tea" drink. I love that they have "sweetness level"options. I usually find bubble tea to be too sweet, so I'll order the 25% sweetness here and it's perfect~(not overly sweet tasting). Favorite Drink is Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with boba/tapioca I visited recently in 2022 and like the new drink-ware - seems like it uses less plastic Tried the blended Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Boba and it was refreshing and blended smoothly. Service was friendly and helpful. It was nice to see patrons sitting both indoors and outdoors at Mr Tea Cafe

We ordered a regular chocolate boba at 100% sweetness, with a toasted everything bagel and cream cheese. The drink and the bagel were really good, but the girl taking our order, wasn't quite paying attention to what we were ordering. Maybe she's new, but I went over the order of what we wanted, and she must not have been paying attention the first time, because she made me repeat the order again... Still good experience aside from parking, there's not much of it, and we were lucky to find a side street one.

I absolutely love this place. I’m currently studying for a major professional examination and I come to Mr.Teas almost nightly for the past month. The teas are very good. I have no complaints from this place. Staff are so nice and accommodating. You’re allowed to bring outside food as well.

I often buy the same milk tea here. The other employees are very good. But today, the two employees at 11:35am on August 1 are very stupid. The girl at the cashier is very difficult to communicate. I told her that I don’t want coins , and I give it,so she can give me dollar change, but she don’t take it, then give me more coin change……, I have always done this, and there has never been a problem. If her math is not good, she should leave that post! Another employee who makes milk tea is also irritating. I don't understand why the light ice drink is one-fifth smaller? I thought she made me the wrong size, but she told me that light ice is like that. I came here to order the same drink more than 30 times, so this is not true. Her reply is ridiculous. it’s like I paid a large size but I got the medium size instead. It is not recommended to buy at this time

Drinks are very good (on good days) with a variety of selections. However, the gal, who is the manager, is so moody that her attitude affects the drink quality. We've come here regularly and know how each drink tastes over here. Once in a while ,we could tell our drinks tasted "off" and we just let it go. We don't expect it to be perfect all the times. However, it's been happening more often. We started to notice that when a drink is bad, it's made by the same gal and by not one of the new employees?! Girl, get your act together!

*** MUST DRINK - BEST CEREAL BUBBLE TEA IN ALL OF OAHU *** I had this like 10 times 5 years ago in the Japanese village in alo Moana mall where it was originally located which blew me away I was skeptical this time cause they changed locations, meaning they could of got rid of the drink menu they once had, fortunately they still had it!! PROS • fruity pebbles is literally the best drink they have • cookie butter is soo accurate CONS • this place lacks parking 100/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND IVE BEEN COMING BACK HERE EVERY CHANCE I GET

Customer service is so helpful and able to help out on selection if new there. So much variety to choose from and the level of sweetness and add ons. Able to dine in or sit outside to enjoy your drink.

Easy place to recommend, they stay open late and have ample parking and very easily accessed from the street and the parking garage. I always get the purple rice yogurt w one of the fruit flavors. I'd recommend lychee or POG

On a quest to try all the boba shops in Honolulu and will definitely update this review and be coming back here! I had their standard black tea with boba and one of their specials. I visited at a less busy time and had a very nice and friendly staff help me out. There are tons of customization options and they have a blend of brewed teas, powder teas, smoothies and pretty much anything to suite anyone's pallet. The aesthetic is very urban which I can appreciate and the staff for the most part are friendly. The tea quality is just okay, but it's a great study spot for late night study session. It's kinda like if an American coffee house changed their entire menu to boba teas. I still really like this spot and can appreciate how accessible it is.

Been all over the US, and wherever I go, I seek boba. This boba right here is GOOD. And I mean GOOD. The flavors are incredibly creative, the boba is the perfect texture... the options are endless. I really recommend this place if you're an avid boba fan like me. I'm kinda glad the new location isn't as close to my place because I was starting to gain weight, LOL. But it's so worth every penny, and now it's worth the extra steps to walk to. Thank you Mr. Tea Cafe!!!! (ps the fruity pebbles is my fav).

They are busy most times. I buy a lot of bagels. The drinks are good before the pandemic and still are. I am a security officer for 909 kapiolani since 2017. Mr. Tea has been great since my 1st day one there.

we used to frequent the Ala Moana location. Tea was delicious with a variety of options and service was pleasant. We drove by a couple of weeks ago and noticed the location had closed. We quickly looked up any other locations. We found one on Kapiolani Blvd. We headed straight there today to get our boba tea fix. Its hard to locate if you don't know where to look. Located inside a residential building, parking is also very limited. We made it in, excited to try their tea. Here is the reason for one star, the service. Oh my! The girl at the counter could not be less welcoming, less interested and really showing us how much she was annoyed to have to even speak to us. We greeted her with excitement and a hello, she said hi in the most dry and annoyed voice. Not helpful at all. Did not offer items or tell us what they had, we had to ask, and she replied with the most annoyed voice and energy. Towards the end of our order we were just done. We became quiet and short answers also. We almost expected her to roll her eyes at us. We left zero tip. The other girl that was there was pleasant when she turned in our drinks. The first girl was so mad about having to deal with customers, like we forced her to apply and interview to work there. Not our fault you hate your job. Made our Tea not so tasty, but Bitter. Don't see us returning.

Yummmmz. Close to Ward walking distance and open late. I also love their flavors and cereal options. So far the best place to add purple rice to my milk tea as well. And they aren't expensive!

Very very good! My wife and I favorite place to go for boba on the island, and we tried quite a few different places. Extremely quick service and always consistent. Parking is kinda hard in the middle of the day, but towards the evening there’s always parking on the side street.
