We had a good experience at Redfish Poke. We chose the place after seeing a recommendation from an article where chefs chose their favorite poke in Oahu, and my wife wanted good fish-based poke. Plus they had a number of vegetarian options as well. We rolled our own (ie chose from the custom poke bowls menu) as vegetarians. I got Beet and Tofu on a bed of white rice and our 12 year old ha Tofu and Edamame. (Kim Chee Cucumber is the other vegetarian poke option.) A handfuls of the sides and toppings are also vegetarian. We enjoyed what we got and the chef did a nice job of making it look nice. My fish eating wife enjoyed her bowl and was excited that they offered tasting samples at the front counter (where you'd order if you weren't eating in.) It was especially nice heading to this part of town from the much-more tourist crowed Waikiki center and after eating we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood which was adjacent to the Kakaako painted murals (giant paintings on the sides of buildings.)

WOW! The best poke I’ve had in Hawaii. I tried the Kanak Attack with Spicy Ahi. The Cauliflower Tots were also amazing.

Being a strict vegetarian, I always feel like I draw the short straw when I travel. I was staying near this restaurant for a week and ended up eating the same bowl five days in a row. I was so pleased with the vegetarian options! I cannot recommend the beet and tofu salad enough! Eating out is expensive, but I felt like Redfish gave the best bang for the buck. I enjoyed the smiling staff, and hope to be back again on future visits.

So happy to see a locally owned business in the hottest neighborhood on Oahu! Easily my favorite poke bowl place in Hawaii Redfish poke is easy to find as it's located in the center of Salt at Kaka'ako. There is a parking garage with plenty of parking as well as metered street parking all along Auahi Street. The food and the chef here are 5 star!!⭐✨ Imagine up-dream up your own poke bowl and come here to make your dream a reality. Not only can you use your creativity to build your own poke bowl to your wildest imagination, they also have preset options that are fantastic! I often will do take out here but really enjoy dining in as well. There is bar seating as well as dining tables available for more privacy. The little Shaka's at the bar are so you can hang your purse/bag on it while you eat/drink - how cute!

Denise was our awesome server. We had poke bowls and cocktails and Hamachi kama and it was very good. We loved the garlic noodles too.

This was literally the first place we visited when we landed in HI. My dad asked a local where a good pokè place was & she suggested Redfish. This place was so cute. I really liked the atmosphere & our server was so kind and honestly very helpful. Food came out pretty quick. I will have to say, I couldn’t finish all of my pokè. That is because I am not the biggest fish fan but definitely wanted to try it because that’s what HI is known for! I ordered spicy ahi & let me tell you, it was spicy! It had a really good flavor though, just a little more spicy than I expected. Everything else in the bowl was delicious. Although, I couldn’t finish everything, everything was still delicious! I highly recommend coming to this place if you are visiting!!!!

Food was delicious, I had the grilled chicken and it was yum, big portion too so you won’t go hungry! Service was excellent, staff were very helpful, special shout-out to our hostess Jackie. Vibey atmosphere, open-air restaurant with hawaiin vibes. Would defiantly recommend!

Great poke bowls with base choice (salad, brown or white), a dozen poke choices, pick a side and then toppings. We got the Cali Roll and Hawaiian style. Cute place with good food! And, the servers were friendly and helpful, too!

Great poke combinations to choose from. We got their special that had some beautiful pork in it as well. Duane was an Excellent Poke Tender with knowledge about the various options. He was able to make recommendations as well as provide different options. You may choose a lettuce, white rice, or brown rice for the base. We got the brown rice and both split the 1 bowl, which was more than enough, and Super tasty! Please say Aloha to Duane as he is a Very hard working person! #RockFromRI

Amazing service! I came in and told them my allergies at the start. They built me a bowl fresh in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination and double checked all the ingredients. I ended up with a huge, delicious, fresh, and SAFE poke bowl. 10/10 would recommend.

First time having poke and I love it. Poke means "diced" but is typically diced raw fish. If you love sushi and like getting full come here. They allow you to load your bowl with 2 fish, toppings sides and sauces. Our bartender was excellent and what surprised me the most was the craft cocktail bar. I told the bartender to make a classic called the bees knees as they have honey syrup and it calls for it. He balanced it very well. Will go again when I'm in the area again. Although once criticism is that he was the table busser, server and checked some people in for a seat. I would just have him doing less so he can focus on the bar.

"poke in the front, party in the back" we're the words that greeted me at Redfish by Foodland. So of course I decided to go to the back. At first you see the great bar and decor then the intimate seating available. We chose to sit looking at the bar to watch the mixologists concoct their libations (which I HIGHLY recommend the Rock Salt Plum). We came during happy hour after seeing the oyster shooters, and they did not disappoint. Great on their own or with Tabasco or chili pepper water, but I had one with both additional sauces and would recommend trying that if you dare. The poke options are as plentiful as Foodland Farms Poke section and better since you can have them with won ton chips. If you find yourself at Salt Kaka'ako and craving poke this is a must stop spot.

Love the vibe. Don’t forget happy hour!! Welcome fellow poke fan!:) We went for lunch and everything looked good it was hard to choose! Going back for more. Parking in structure near by and restaurant is right out front from elevator.

This was perfect. Like a giant bowl of your own sushi creation. Great quality. Staff was knowledgeable and helped us select the right mix. Definitely recommend this place.

Love love love Redfish poke! So many options!! Love that you can choose your toppings and sides! The poke was really fresh. The bowl was pretty big! Reasonably priced too! Will def be back!

Poke was cut abnormally large, and the portion size pretty small for the price. Kids had shoyu poke, but the shoyu was spicy for some reason. We asked for shoyu on the side, but it was spicy too. There’s much better places for poke. Judge for yourself, but the poke bowls look unappetizing, with toppings and without. The fish itself didn't smell bad. 4/5 for freshness.

Staff were attentive and we were quickly seated and served. Located nearby other shops. Portions were big and delicious. Everything we had here was amazing! You can make your own poke bowl by choosing the size regular ($15) or deluxe ($18), then the base, sides, and any toppings you would like. Happy hour is from 2-5pm and they have some nice appetizers!

We had a reservation for dinner on a Saturday. We were seated immediately upon arrival. There are not very many tables so I'd definitely say the reservation was a good thing. They had a to go area too where you can build your own bowl. Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the different protein options for the poke. I thought the prices were very good and would definitely recommend.

Aaron the bartender was a cool kid. Made a great old fashion! Everyone was great from the guy up front telling about their options to the woman that seat us and hooked us up with a sample plate of the different types of fish. Was a great experience for our first time eating Poke! Fish seemed fresh and had great flavor. No fishy after taste. The ice cubes had fish designe pressed into it.

It was my favorite place for poke. But today I found a nail in my poke what the HELL, that was disgusting!!! Maybe it was in one of the topping not sure I got kimchi kimchi cucumber and ginger. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Poke is super fresh and all the ingredients are mingled well!! Chicken wings are little bit salty but it would be perfect with the beer.

Best meal we’ve had on Oahu. Everything was delicious. Chips and salsa has a fusion twist. The poke was so fresh and even the ribeye was delicious. The malasadas for dessert were also fresh and served with ice cream. Can’t be it - especially for the price!
