Very simple menu posted on the wall and the servers were very friendly and attentive. Saimin was good, the broth was light and matched well with the noodles and the slices of char siu. Was surprised by the bbq skewers they were really good, would recommend them with a bowl of noodles. Will definitely be coming back. Just an FYI no AC so it can get a bit warm inside.

Simple menu, tasty food, and friendly service! We arrived 15 minutes before closing and we felt terrible so we ordered to go. The waitress was so sweet and offered us to dine in (because it tastes better) despite so close to closing time. Highly recommend!

I really really enjoyed this local spot for Saimin. The broth was complex and just the right amount of fatiness. The noodles were chewy and slurp-tastic. Beware of the scolding hot broth. Eat your sticks while it cools down from nuclear reactor temp. Important FYI if you canโ€™t eat or donโ€™t like pork then this isnโ€™t the place for you. They only have pork broth for their Saimin.

It's a pretty small noodle restaurant with an even smaller menu (the menu is displayed on both walls and has about 8 -10 items on it), but what they do offer they do very well. I don't know if Saimin is my favorite type of noodle dish, but it's quite tasty and I would recommend that travelers give it a try. And if you do, this inexpensive spot is the place to go.

Saimin and Wonton mein was tasty. Also tried their bbq sticks. Pretty good. Staff very nice and friendly. Beware of extra charge for Togo.

Palace Saimin is the epitome of a culinary experience that melds both tradition and modern-day authenticity. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the nostalgic ambience reminiscent of classic noodle houses, but with an unmistakable touch of contemporary flair. The saimin bowls are nothing short of a masterpiece - the broth, rich and flavorful, melds seamlessly with the perfectly cooked noodles, evoking memories of homemade dishes. Each ingredient feels purposefully placed, from the delicate char siu to the crisp greens. Service is impeccable, ensuring a memorable dining experience from start to finish. For anyone seeking the true essence of saimin, Palace Saimin is a must-visit!

I was walking to 7/11 one evening to get beer when I got hit with this lovely aroma of bbq goodness. I had to go back and see what was up. I walked in and saw it was an old school SAIMIN place with the Coca Cola letter board that HAMURAS back on Kauai has! I knew at that moment I HAD to eat there . I told the lady working my order and sat down. They only have beef bbq sticks but thatโ€™s okay BECAUSE THEY WERE INCREDIBLE! I just got the small SAIMIN and one bbq stick. The SAIMIN was on point too. I canโ€™t wait to go back im so happy I live near by. My check was only like $8.50!

Classic saimin house that specializes in nothing else (except the barbecue sticks). One of the best around. Great snack and super friendly staff.

Terrific mom and pop joint with some of the best beef skewers I've ever had. The saimin is different than one I had elsewhere. I guess there are different variations. This one was more like Chinese wonton noodle. Doesn't matter cuz it was great!

Get the wonton noodles and bbq sticks. This place is amazing, the saimin noodles here have a great springy fresh texture that you canโ€™t get anywhere else and the broth they serve it in has a lot of body and is seasoned well. One of the things I appreciate the most is that the broth is definitely not as salty as typical ramen dishes, so you can really taste the flavors of it. They give you sides of soy sauce and hot mustard so you can adjust the broth to your preferences though. I would come here everyday if I could, my only regret is not getting a bigger size.

Such a cute hole-in-the-wall spot. The Saimin is filling and I definitely recommend the BBQ sticks. The service is so ncie and friendly and we were even able to get a spot to sit.

This is the OG of saimin places. These people have kept to the basics when making local saimin from the old Okinawan saimin stands. Been coming here my whole life, almost 60 years!

Palace Saimin is absolutely delicious and well worth a visit! The staff is really friendly and helpful โ€” we are from out of town and werenโ€™t sure what to order, so our waitress took us under her wing and helped us order like locals. Canโ€™t recommend this spot enough!

Great hole-in-the-wall place to visit if you like saimin or udon. "Local flavor" kind of family restaurant, which has been around for 75 years. Saimin is an unimposing dish, but this place does it really well. Excellent beef stick.

Out of the way place for saimin. Parking is limited. Order a bowl of wonton min and a couple of BBQ sticks.
