This is the worst experience in my life to check-in the room. The front desk gave me the wrong room, I booked a the platinum ocean-front terrace suite w/ TWO queen beds for seven days on as early as in March 2022. BUT they gave me a City view room or I have to take single bed ocean view room. I didn’t expect this, didn’t I book early enough? They kept trying to deny their responsibility on that, finally, after over one hour argument, the manager gave us two basic room with ocean view.

I thought I could give good review but it was only good until we checked-out the room. I'm so dissatisfied!! I found that I was charged $167.32 by this hotel for no reason. I called them and I was told this was for four overnights parking fee, HOWEVER, we only parked ONE night. If I didn’t check my bank account I would never know it. The hotel staff are so careless and I have to pay a lot of my time to contact the hotel again and again! I will NEVER stay here anymore. I do NOT recommend anyone to stay here, and do not waste time and money to get bad experience with it.

Hotel is renovating lobby area so there is a lot of noise during the day but we didn't hear much in the rooms. Staff for the most part seems indifferent some were fairly nice but the valet staff are awesome! We had 2 silver rooms, they were next to each other, 1 had a kitchenette with an updated bathroom the other did not. Not sure how you can give someone 2 rooms that they paid the same amount for and have them be so different. The second bathtub was gross, the bathroom was tiny. We had a mini fridge and that was it. The second room had a coffee maker, microwave really nice shower and spacious bathroom. We asked if we could get a microwave or coffee maker but they said no. When we booked the room it states beach towels available but they don't tell you they're 12 DOLLARS, so bring your own! They only have 1 valet guy working so expect to wait at times, not his fault since they don't have any back up for him. Cleaning staff threw away some really important Prescription medication not sure why they even touched it since it was with our luggage. When I complained they "deeply apologized" thanked me for the information and said they would investigate but never heard from the manager or anyone else to follow up or make it right. sleeping masks were also removed from the room. They would take our towels but only leave 2 in each room with a party of 7 so we constantly had to go down for more. Or you can text for more but it's gonna be awhile. We even tried putting some under our belongings so they wouldn't take the towels but they took them anyway even though i thought they weren't supposed to touch our belongings. one time they didn't replenish the toilet paper which was empty so we had go downstairs for that too. We checked in about 20 minutes early and the receptionist advised me that since we were valued guests they would waive the early check in fee but the poor lady in front of me was not given that courtesy, guess she didn't book through costco, but seriously you're gonna charge someone for checking in 20 minutes early when their room is ready?! I can see if it was over an hour but 20 minutes?! We won't be staying here again.

Our vacation stay at this hotel was great, opted for a king suite. Situated along Kalākaua Avenue, its prime location allowed for easy access to Waikiki Beach within a leisurely 10-minute walk, surrounded by an array of dining options from restaurants, coffee shops, good breakfast places to food trucks. The pool and bar areas were delightful spots to unwind, enjoying refreshing drinks and a relaxing poolside atmosphere. Notably, the hotel offers splendid views overlooking Waikiki, adding a picturesque touch to our stay

Absolutely incredible experience here! Best part of our stay in Hawaii. The hotel is beautiful and unique, very minimal earthy style. Even though there was construction going on it never really bothered us. We got upgraded to a corner room and were invited to a cocktail hour on the penthouse floor which was gorgeous!! Beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. Ice cold AC. They also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc for no extra charge which was a huge plus! Walking distance to Fort DeRussy Park and beach which was much quieter than the touristy Waikiki Beach. It was really nice to get away from all the commotion. Great restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Customer service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!!!

So I would not recommend staying here. First off, ALL of the pictures are EXTREMELY deceiving. The pool is tiny, the rooms are NOT nice, they don’t even have a room phone, and our tv did not work at all. They charged us $70 for sand stains on towels, which has never happened to me anywhere I’ve ever gone. The only good part about the stay was a front desk worker named Vincent. He was very sweet and very funny as well. Good hospitality from him as well as the male black manager. However when I asked for the tv to get fixed it never did. We also asked for more towels and never got them. There’s potential for this hotel to be nice but $70 for sand stains? Just add an extra $100 to your trip and go to OUTRIGGER.

Honestly, overall I was a little disappointed with my stay here. I would say the pros are that staff were absolutely excellent. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms felt fairly safe and clean. The cons: The stairwells and basement where you can do laundry felt like something out of a horror film. The building is very old and run down. Our room had a super funny smell in it that just wouldn't go away. The bathroom fan was clogged with dust and did not work. There was dust and cobwebs caught in the popcorn ceiling. The bathtub drained at the speed of a snail, so you showered in ankle deep water. The towel hooks were hanging off the wall. Upon booking, there was no mention whatsoever that the entire building was undergoing construction. The first day we got there, there was jackhammering going on on the floor above us, so we couldn't relax or sleep after a 10 hour plane ride. The staff assured us this was only for the one day. What they did not say was construction was going on heavily the entire spring break that we were staying. 2/3 of the elevators worked. They were slow and one didn't even take you to the right floor. The floors are marked incorrectly. For example, it might say floor 5 when really the rooms are the 300s. The water was shut off for an entire day due to construction. It was super loud with drilling the entire stay. Everything just felt very loud and inconvenient. Super poor planning for spring break. To summarize, I would not stay here again.

The staff at the front desk is very nice and helpful with recommendations, etc. I love that everything is done via text since I dislike phone conversations. There was a misunderstanding with the parking attendant which led me to be turned away from their paid parking for a few hours and had to park blocks away. Because of this inconvenience my parking was reduced to $0. The hotel is undergoing renovations so there’s a bunch of little irritating things going wrong like the elevator not working, lots of noise, etc. I did like that after my checkout, the front desk held my luggage for an additional 5 hours and let me shower in the pool shower past my checkout time. I paid $141 in resort fees and I only used the pool once. It felt like a waste of money, to be honest. With so many other hotel options, I would not stay here again. But I would definitely recommend it for someone on a tight budget like I was. It is way less expensive than other hotels just down the street. Oh! There’s an ABC in the hotel!! That was a big plus. :-)

My partner and I stayed m at this hotel for 11 nights. The room that we got was clean itself and the city views were great but the bathroom’s sink cabinet had the funkiest smell and it was unbearable throughout the whole entire room. There is no ventilation in the bathroom as well as the exhaust fan didn’t work so we had to constantly leave the door open. This hotel’s biggest asset are their staff as they’re so accommodating in helping us feel comfortable.

We changed rooms 3 times. 1st we were given a room that was already occupied. They upgraded us to a room with a kitchenette but it ended up having a leak in the ceiling by the sliding door. They moved us to a room with two queen beds that we stayed for one night because the other king bed room they offered also had a leak in the same spot. the king sized room we ended up in was nice, no leaks. They are in the middle of renovations so one elevator was down so waiting to get to rooms or lobby is a bit of a wait. Parking is $40+ a night. Overall decent hotel, rooms(minus leaks) are nice, friendly staff, good Location. close to downtown area.

I stayed for one night, 3/4-3/5, and was thoroughly impressed with this place. Lily checked me in at the front desk and she was warm, personable, and professional. I got to the hotel early and was happy to wait until check-in time to get to my room. She put in a priority request with housekeeping, and I was able to get to my room within an hour. I love my room. The hotel is in a great location: two blocks from the madness of the luxury shopping row, so it's on a quiet block but still close enough to get to the center of things if that's your scene. Breakfast was delicious and you get complementary drinks later in the day. It's reasonably priced relative to other options nearby. I had a pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night (last minute) due to our flights changing and leaving one day early. The staff was friendly and room was nice, but they do not give you your security deposit back so be ready to spend an extra $200 for no reason on a mediocre room when you check in. We called numerous times and the front desk said we should have gotten it by now and still haven’t (checked out one month ago) the hotel isn’t worth the price of one room plus $200 extra dollars. Use that money for a better hotel.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating! They lent me towels and snorkel gear for the beach and was able to switch out towels anytime. The valet was friendly but costs about $35 per day. The room had a good working fridge and A/C but couldn't get the heat to work. The beds were comfortable but the rain was draining and dripping on the middle of the balcony. Room luxury was 3/5. One of the elevators was under construction but the other two worked well.

Great stay! The staff was super helpful and courteous, the location is great, and the valet is totally worth it! *There’s an ABC store at the lobby entrance for anything you may have forgotten. *Right on the strip and a few blocks from great food and shopping. *Pretty clean and modern rooms. Worth it to get one with a mini fridge and/or hot plate. *Our room a had two lanais (balconies) that while they didn’t have a view of the ocean (because of silver room), was still super nice to sit outside and have some coffee (free in the lobby every morning) *While the sound of $35-$40 daily for valet parking sounds steep, it’s completely outweighed by the convenience of not looking for parking every day in Waikiki. They have in and out privileges which parking lots around the city do not. Overall, I’d definitely stay again and upgrade to an ocean view if possible! 🤙🏽

This hotel was in a great spot, the room was priced well, and the amenities were nice. It was far enough from the beach to avoid crowds but close enough to enjoy after a short walk. Anna welcomed us and got us checked in quickly and was delightful throughout our experience. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the hotel is undergoing some remodeling, which included us having to shut off our water in our room one day which wasn't ideal. Also, $40/night for valet parking was a bit steep! But otherwise, we would come back again - can't wait to see the full remodel!

Great place to stay, close to the beach and walking distance to most shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. My room had a little kitchen which was great but I never used it. There are just too many restaurants to go eat at. Plus there is an ABC store in the lobby of the hotel. Recommend.

The best hotel I have stayed at during the 10-day trip. Not the most luxurious, but definitely worth the price paid. The pleasant environment and friendly staff added to the positive experience. If you are lucky you will be invited to the MonkeyLounge for a Managers Party. They offer free snacks and drinks(non alcoholic and alcoholic!!!!)and of course a nice view front the top of the hotel. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!

Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms and lobby area kept clean, updated and well maintained. Some areas, like the furniture, has started to show wear, scratches and nicks, but overall this hotel is a great value. Underground valet parking available for $30 a night with in and out privileges. We appreciated the lemon ice water and coffee available in the lobby. Takes around 10 minutes to walk to the beach and is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

Our stay at the hotel was great due to staff. The staff were very friendly, approachable, and helpful. If it wasn't for the staff I would not have stayed at this hotel. Manager Douglas was extremely helpful when we ran into a small problem upon arrival and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Some things to be aware of, the hotel is having a lot of construction during the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM. Honestly my husband and I were gone most of the day due to activities, exploring, and spending time at the North Shore beaches that we weren't bothered by the construction. But just in case you wanted to sleep in it might be hard due to the loud construction noise. Also the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. We may have had a wheel chair access bathroom bc it was huge with a walk in shower and lots of hand rails. But even if it was it was pretty gross and super outdated. There was tile all over that bathroom that looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in years so we wore our water shoes or sandals any time we used that bathroom or shower. Also the shower head was so low that I had to bend awkwardly or remove the shower head just to get get all the soap or shampoo off and I'm barely 5'2. Again staff was super friendly and anytime we asked for a room clean or fresh towels they were on it. Like I mentioned before, if it weren't for the staff I wouldn't have stayed there. I know a lot of the nearby resorts have poor customer service but not this hotel.

Arrived at 11.30am and had previously Requested early check in but did not have a room until 6.30pm. Room facing construction so was swapped to another room. Very old interior and nothing like the photos. Little ants all over the place. Dirty, unclean bathroom with the tap handle over the bath half hanging off and the drain blocked. Even hairs in the bath and surrounds, yuk. Pillow disgusting. Half the size of a normal pillow and entirely lumpy. Asked for more but they were the same so terrible to sleep on. No room service so had to ask for towels and more toilet paper daily. Location excellent but that was it. So disappointed nothing like the room photos. Do not recommend and would never stay here again. And as for the resort fee , what a rip off. This was my 6th visit to Hawaii and have never stayed in such a disgusting room.

Loved this hotel! The rooms have a cute, bohemian beach house feel to them. I booked into a Platinum Terrace Penthouse, which was amazing. It had a full wraparound patio with views of the ocean and the park. The room had Monkeypod lounge access, and starting the day there with a mocha and pastries overlooking the city was lovely. I appreciated that they had a fitness center and pool, also. The staff and service was lovely. I would stay there again.

Very lovely experience and great location. I was only there for 1 night, but I wish I would've stayed longer. I would've taken more advantage of the pool area and Monkey Pod. Parking anywhere downtown is a mess, and you're likely to pay every time. The staff were all great but a little overwhelmed by the holiday rush of folks. I have to remember to go to Hawaii during their low season instead. I was upgraded to a top floor room, which had beautiful views! The bathroom had somewhat of a sewage smell, though, that I didn't like at all. Overall really nice stay at this small boutique hotel.

Hotel was clean and modern. Great location, walking distance to everything. Getting our room service was difficult, their texting the front desk service system needs improvement. Hidden fees like 45 dollar a night for valet parking is your only option to park since Their is no free street parking in the area. Also the valet guys are very cool but they dinged my rental car twice. Also the pool is very small. Good luck being able to take a dip. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

This place is cheaply built. Loud, unsanitary, the water smelt like sewage. Our towels smelt bad and had hair all over them. The sheet on our bed was dirty. When brought up to a manager, it was brushed off as if it was normal. Free breakfast for only one person. Advertising airport shuttle, this really means, they will call you a taxi. After about 10pm, the homeless are everywhere, the area is so dangerous, they lock the lobby pass 11:30pm. The grounds around the hotel are also dirty and smell of urine..

The service was impeccable! We reserved a night with them after being scammed by a different hotel. The staff could clearly see we were in distress on our first night of our honeymoon and they saved the day. They made us feel welcomed and made sure our stay was wonderful. They have beach gear to rent, a small convenient store on bottom floor, and comfy beds for a good nights rest. Can’t thank their staff enough for a fantastic stay!

You get what you pay for here. This was on the more affordable end of hotel stays for the area. And it was a great location! Staff was very nice and helpful, prompt to respond and accommodating to every request we had. Very convenient that ABC store is right downstairs. Elevators break everyday though and take so long to arrive. (They have 3). Best to just get a room on a lower floor and take the stairs.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay! After a disaster at a bed and breakfast, we found ourselves looking for a hotel at 11pm at night with me 7.5mo pregnant. We booked online, but upon arrival the manager (we missed his name) and the front desk clerk (Tony) went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. They upgraded us to an ocean view room, and it was so nice! The valet (also missed his name) was so incredibly nice as well. He recommended we go to the Polynesian Cultural Center and it was the highlight of our trip. We wouldn't have known had we not taken time to speak with him. In addition to all that, the bar tender at the pool (Nelson) went above and beyond to accommodate my pregnancy. Bringing water and mocktails poolside and even recommended his favorite restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Waikiki

We we just there and I already wish we were back! Our room was on the 14th floor. It was updated and beautifully furnished (but be prepared that the "dresser" is more of a large cabinet with shelves). We had two balconies, one with the ocean view, and the other overlooking the city. We enjoyed relaxing on both balconies. We had pleasant exchanges with ALL staff that we encountered, but of course I have to give a shout out to Rachel, the bartender at the pool. She was PHENOMENAL! We were sad she was off for the last couple days of our stay, but then Vincent came along and we loved him too! Both bartenders - very attentive and personable- 10 out of 10! Happy hour at the pool is from 12 to 2 and 4-5 and this was probably our favorite part, just for the relaxation and chill vibe at the pool. Truly there wasn't a single employee that didn't lend to making our stay a wonderful experience! The staff really seem to enjoy what they are doing! Location is great and within walking distance of so much. We only explored just a fraction of what we could have, had we had more time. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!!

The rooms are good sized and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice location too, just a short walk to the beach. One of the elevators was being renovated while we were there so the wait times were sometimes a little longer, but that is an issue that will resolve itself with time as the renovations are completed. The hotel does not provide breakfast. There is a Denny's and IHOP within walking distance and an ABC store right outside if you want to grab something quick.

The hotel was in the middle of renovations to some of its rooms and one of its elevators during our stay so there were some comfort issues that were out of their control to rectify but overall the experience was very positive. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and the amenities were very pleasant. While we did not have the time to experience the gym or the sauna, the pool was very pleasant. Ultimately I would recommend this hotel to any looking for a pleasant and cost effective stay in the Waikiki area, especially once they finish renovations.

We had a great time at LaCroix. The stuff were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is quite nice, clean rooms, nice beds and all the facilities you might need. The location is excellent, minutes walk from the beach, the shopping area and the restaurants. The even gave us free breakfast during the stay as apology because the pool was closed for renovations. Only downside is the sound insulation which can be improved.

My husband and I have stayed here the last three times we have visited Oahu & will forever stay there on every trip back! The rooms are immaculate, the staff is extremely friendly & helpful (no matter the hour, we’ve had to check out at 4am once & they were so friendly and helpful), and the renovations have made it very aesthetically appealing. Whenever we visit, we’re coming from the Big Island, so they’ve got great perks for Hawaii residents, too. 10/10 would recommend & can’t wait to come back!

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down. Very great hospitality and room is as expected, probably one of the better values for hotels in the area. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance and beach is within 10 minute walking distance! There’s a seven eleven close by where you can buy a bus pass. Would definitely recommend getting a bus pass and staying here!

The room we were in was clean, but well used and the room needed upgraded. No housekeeping provided unless asked for and therefore had to request towels etc daily. The employees were great and helped whenever asked. The location was okay, but fewer walkable restaurants and currently building next door. On 12th floor and our view was the construction next door.

We had a great time at LaCroix. The hotel was clean and customer service was phenomenal. I loved everyone at the bar and the front desk. They always made sure we had everything we needed. Pros - The staff was very friendly and always answered any questions Problems - 1. The photos displayed on the website are not as advertised and we switched rooms, bathroom / shower design is terrible. Water splatters all over floor when showering. 2. One of my rooms found a dead cockroach pretty early into the vacation and had to switch rooms 3. We only had our hotel cleaned 1 time for the 7 days we were there, apparently you need to schedule a cleaning, but when we did that they didn’t even show up so we had to go to the front desk to request it again. Conclusion : Will not be staying here again when I return to Hawaii. For the price you pay, the quality in return is not worth it. When requesting to switch rooms 1 of the staff even told me (summarized) with this hotel to not expect it to be the same quality as other hotels in the area. Recommendation - pay a little more for another hotel for a better experience. The staff - Great The hotel and what you get - average

Had an amazing stay at Hotel La Croix this weekend, the staff are so friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. They have an amazing pool view and only 15 mins walk from Waikiki beach. It’s beside Ritz Carlton and the view from there pool is the exact same for double the price. This hotel gives amazing Hawaiian “homey” vibes, would recommend booking to anyone that is hesitant. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel had a great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were not the nicest but for the price, it was good. If you do not plan on spending a lot of time in the hotel and don’t mind tiny pillows and not the best shower, then I would recommend this hotel to save money.

You cannot be serious that this is a 4 star hotel! The swimming pool is the size of 2 jacuzzis put together and the bar next to it that has the happy hour has space for around 6-8 max. It is made to look bigger in pics. They charge resort fees and have absolutely no resort amenities or activities. The rooms are at best a little bit better than motels. Single patio chair outside - no table, no second chair. Could see a pipe in the corner running through the room. Bathrooms are dated. A note - no self parking, only Valet - $45. The plus is that the location is central to where everything is happening and walking distance from beaches, shops everything.

Hotel staff are amazing! The room was good. King suite. The bathroom was a weird setup but still fully functional. The fan didn’t work that well but it wasn’t terrible. The reception was fun. A nice spread and good drinks. Nice people. 10 min walk to beach through a beautiful park. Pool is small but felt great and is pretty. Pet friendly. No real complaints that would warrant anything less than 5 stars. Would stay here again!

Employees were really nice, but u really have to chase them if u need them to do something. If u like construction views this is the place for you. Hotel was overall clean, but the pool on the other hand… the bathroom in my room didn’t have any ventilation - so much moisture trapped in the room.

These guys are genuinely trying, the atmosphere is pretty nice, the rooms are good but could use an update. The balconies need a serious update as there are chucks of paint and cement chipping away. The service was good, they let me check in early and even upgraded me for free. The breakfast was good, but nothing special considering you are technically paying for it anyway in the resort fees. Bathtub was a bit dirty, and there was a bit of street noise at night. Overall pretty good, but I did pay a super discounted rate for it.

Absolutely loved our vacation in Hawaii and a big part of that was staying at such a great hotel! Really great price and the room was large and really nice and clean! Loved being so close to all the shops and restaurants and a short walk from the beach! When did up renting a car while we were there and they had a fantastic valet service that kept the car whenever we didn’t need it and we can just text them whenever we wanted it ready to go. Really friendly staff and excellent experience, can’t wait to hopefully come back soon!

Bea and Cynthia were so accommodating! They had extremely fast service and gave us everything we needed. They even responded to us before we came to the hotel on the day before. I highly recommend coming to Hotel La Croix if you are on a budget and need a great place to lodge in the Waikiki area.

This is a great location if you don’t mind a little walk to Waikiki beach and the shopping centers! Front desk is always super helpful and attentive! However our room didn’t come with a microwave or coffee pot so that was a shame. Other than that everything else was great.

It was an amazing time! Such amazing and friendly staff. Aaron and Shawn were very accommodating to our group. They made sure everyone was being taken care of at the rush of check in. Nice view of the pool. And they also have room service ! What a great time in Hawaii 😎

Really nice hotel with incredible value for your money! If you can get an west facing room you will have a beautiful view of west Honolulu with no other close buildings obstructing your view, makes for beautiful sunset views! South facing views will look out at the ocean but there are many buildings between you and it, not the most beautiful view of the ocean. Place would be a 5 star if it were not for the fact that there is no on site parking, you are on your own with finding paid parking and validating it. If paying were offered this would probably be the top rated hotel in it's price point! Rooms are comfortable, nicely sized and it very easy access to anything on the Waikiki Honolulu strip.

The hotel was very comfortable; we especially appreciated the separate couch/lounge area and the kitchen. The kitchen could have been better stocked -- there were no sharp knives or can openers -- but staff came to our aid. Hotel lobby provided fresh coffee and ice water 24/7. We thought parking might be an issue, but Keola and the other valets made that an especially fun part of the trip by being interested in our plans each day and even giving us a taste of Hawaii with pineapple drinks! Good location, though traffic was loud enough we didn't sleep with the doors open. Overall, very clean and high-end feel with excellent customer service.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. This website will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure! I had a great time at this hotel. It is clean and quiet and located really close to great shopping and activities. The hotel staff was friendly. I recommend you research restaurants and activities before hand though. The front desk staff were not great at suggesting places to eat or go which was a bit disappointing.

Would not stay here again. The smoke alarm went off every time we took a shower. The bathroom doesn’t have a real door, it’s a barnyard sliding door with a big gap so the steam from the shower leaks out. We weren’t taking hot showers, it would just fog up from luke warm showers and trigger the alarm. aside from that it’s just overall not great to not have a bathroom door. There was a day where they had a smoke alarm test going on during the day, and it ended up sounding off at 3:45am the whole hotel had to evacuate. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, there was visible dirt on the toilet and shower, we had to do a bit of cleaning to get everything usable. The pillows are half size, very small. We asked for more twice and they said they were all out. We gave up on asking. Aside from the above there was pretty regular hallway noise that woke us up at 8am everyday from staff cleaning etc. walks etc are very thin. by contrast we didn’t really hear any street noise. If there had just been a real bathroom door so that the smoke detector didn’t go off during a shower, a normal size / amount of pillows, clean bathroom, and no middle of the night evacuation it would have been a fine stay We weren’t able to connect with management to discuss this problems, we were just refunded one night of resort fees for the 3am evacuation. It would be great if it was easier to speak to management, we had asked on several occasions.

Guest services was nice and helpful. They got us a taxi that was flat rate of $29 to the airport. There was a charging station for multiple devices. The room smelled good and looked clean. However, there was popcorn ceiling in the bathroom that looks like it was painted over something dark or like a patch. No fan in bathroom. No mirror other than in the bathroom. You had to lift the big bags over the corner of the bed to get them in the closet area. They won't roll around the bed.

We stayed here for 7 days, the staff are excellent, the rooms are great and so is housekeeping. They give free snorkels, towels, surf boards etc to borrow and it saved us a bucket load of $. The breakfast is great too with variety that we didn’t get bored of. The only couple things that could be better is that the room key is very sensitive, we needed to change it almost every night after already going up to our room and the bed and pillows are crazy soft, I didn’t sleep that great but didn’t mind that much, it did the job. A great bed does go a long way though.

Over all great, but odd areas that are less attractive. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The view is lovely. The location is very good. On the other hand: There is no dresser in the room so we need to live out of suitcases. There is no place in the bathroom to hand a damp towel. There's a mini refrigerator and a coffee maker but no microwave. The climate control is very odd and not very responsive, it seems that there are two temperatures, too cold and too warm. Over all it is a nice experience but not nearly perfect.

Very nice and convenient hotel in Waikiki. Nice staff..Cynthia! Parking is stiff but the staff is great. Resort fee is charge but there is not much of a resort....to use!

I got the impression this hotel is going through a transition period and updates have been made in a positive direction. Our room appeared newly renovated, it was beautiful and airy. Corner suite with 2 balconies. Gorgeous view. Only downside was the sliding barn door to the bathroom left a large gap when closed, so my partner and I had to warn each other before using the toilet not to look in that direction. The monkey pod is a sweet feature and a must to check out if it's made available to you. Happy hour at the pool is a great time, and you get nice views from the rooftop there as well. The staff were exceptional, super accommodating and welcoming. They were very eager to receive feedback about our experience and made notes. The wifi on our floor was very slow, but we were on vacation so that wasn't a huge priority. If someone were staying there to work however, it would be an issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

I have to admit I read the reviews after I booked my stay and I was very skeptical about staying there BUT everyone has their own opinion and this is mine. We walked in and we were welcomed with an Aloha and a guava tea and then when we got to our from, we were offered some Margaritas. The room was comfortable and we had a patio with a beautiful view. The cooler was cold enough for us and the beds were comfy as well. The hotel was clean and neat. The only thing I wish they had more of, was bathroom counter space. There was a sink and toilet. No counter space to do our hair and make up. Stand up shower was very big and roomy enough for me to help my husband bathe which they even provided a handicapped shower chair. Other then that, when we needed more towels, an ironing board and ice bucket, they would bring it right away. All my kids hotels which cost way more then ours, didn’t provide breakfast. We had breakfast. There was no meat at all but it was delicious. They had salads, banana pancakes with reg or cocoa syrup, steamed rice, eggs, toast, muffins, croissants, peach or apple pastries all the condiments and coffee or orange/pineapple juice and water. It was a restful and relaxing place. And my son needed a room for one night and they provided the room immediately. Swimming pool was small but very nice. We had like a 10-15 walking distance to my sons hotels and to the beach. So many restaurants and clothing boutiques around the hotel area. Parks to walk and sights to see. I would highly recommend it. Thank You for a great stay.

I wouldn’t say there was anything amazing about our stay. It was fine. Pros: the views were really nice out of our room. It was decently clean. Cons: upon arrival, we were not given the room we booked, and we were told they were sold out of all other rooms. So we were short on a bed, which left one of us sleeping on a roll out bed which was very uncomfortable. The bathroom in that room was not great, the shower leaked, and the water was not warm enough. They had us switch rooms the next day to the right room, however we had to check out of our current room at 11, and couldn’t check into the other room till around 1:30. They did store our luggage which was helpful. The bathrooms in the rooms are super awkward with the windows on the shower, and the sliding doors. This room let us take a hot shower, but then the fire alarm would go off from the humidity. We were really excited to be here but it was a little bit of a bummer.

Stay was overall just ok. Pictures of the hotel online were misleading as it does not look as nice or modern as it does online. Room had outdated furniture. We were put on a floor facing construction and our balcony was locked shut and unusable which was upsetting. When we asked to be moved several times we were told they have no rooms available. Nowhere to hang towels so they cannot dry and they do not provide room service unless you schedule 24 hours in advance. Can get extra/new towels from the front desk but old ones end up laying around the room. No where to fill up water bottles before beach or hikes so forced to buy water from the store nearby. Pool is much smaller than it appears in person. Room was humid with a funky smell. No real blanket on the bed, just two thin sheets. Water backs up in the shower right away leaving a puddle for you to stand in. Makes sense why it is cheaper than most other hotels in the area but definitely overpriced for what you get.
