Diamond Head Tower

Hotel

😠 This hotel tower was the worst of the 4 towers in the Hilton Village that we saw. Carpets were old, stained, and dirty. We ended up paying a little more to move towers to Tapa Tower because my wife was upset we were spending $3k to feel like we were living in squalor. I'd avoid at the price point.... People often mention room, resort, Hilton,

Outside of the location, meaning beachfront hawaii. There is absolutely nothing special about the hotel. There was not even a microwave in my room. This of course forced eationg out or ordering in room service. The cabinet door was broken, and there was a device hidden in the room. Not sure if it was to secretly catch smokers but in this day and age it came off as a hidden camera.

Better places for cheaper in central Waikiki.

Honestly. This place is old! The shower and sink kept filling up with water. The light barley turned on… The chair on our patio was broken, and the worst part was…. The iron. It was filled up with gunk which ended up ruining my white jeans. I’d you’re going to be staying at the Hilton resort, don’t stay at the diamond tower!!!

Sadly in need of renovation. Hilton is chasing Grand Vacation time share members and can't be bothered to renovate the hotels on this property. At least this tower is where the Uber/Lyft pickup is. Property itself is nice and the location is great.

I stayed here for two weeks while at the Hilton Village Resort. My room was decent and the bed/bedding seemed like new. My room was on the fourth floor and I could hear some of the music at night and fortunately it did not keep me up.

The room is old and dated the walls are scratched and missing paint. The couch bed feels like rocks, the bathroom is extremely old and the light flickers in there. There is only one lamp for our whole room and no overhead lights. Stay somewhere else.

This is very clearly an older building in this resort. We had a giant cockroach crawl across the ceiling one night. They forgot to clean our room another night. For the price, it was not spectacular. The resort is beautiful, and the other towers look much nicer.

Rooms were clean yet needed minor repairs. Bed was comfortable. Balcony could use a dust off. 🤧

The common areas are well worn. The room was clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The view from our room was very nice. Just a bit too busy for us it’s kind of like staying in the mall. I think that’s personal preference

I was a bit disappointed in the room. This tower does not allow delivery from anywhere but 1 store. This store is only open for a few hrs at breakfast and a few more at dinner. There is no microwave so can't buy food to heat up later. This may be fitting for a motel 6 but for the cost of a Hilton, and at a luxury resort, I expect atleast a microwave if not 24hr room service. However that is my only complaint. Housekeeping was very accommodating even asking daily what time would be good for them to clean. The view was amazing and every member of the staff I came in contact with was the same

Very dated but room service was great and fast. Very expensive for the out dated room. Views were nice but balcony was filthy. Very dirty and dusty.

My first time in this tower. It's certainly not on par with the others in the resort. It is certainly obvious that has been a lack of investment: Bathroom is dated. Rooms were not the level of cleanliness I expect from Hilton. Lack of USB ports for PDA's. No wifi 6 mesh support so the wifi on your device has to be reset for the beach AP. Guest have to pickup bottles of water from the concierge so that they can pitch you tour trips. Every other Hilton I've been to replenish water in the room on a daily basis. $50/day resort fee gets you squat. You still have to pay exorbitant fees for beach umbrella/chair rentals and $57/day for parking. Although they give a 50% discount if it's more than 2 days. TIP: make several single day car rental reservations and don't pay for parking. Obviously understaffed as reflected in staff attitudes. Perhaps the best swimming/wading beach in Waikiki although not well groomed. I don't think Hilton is responsible for the grooming.

It was fine, but for the price we paid, we expected an "all inclusive resort" to you know, include more? Concierge and activities booking was awful, the rooms were adequate if a bit outdated (probably renovated in the early '00s, but with new big TVs) Someone was smoking weed in the room above us and we couldn't use our balcony for days.

Motel 6 would have been the same. No microwave in room, refrigerator under sink. Employees I came in contact with was very nice. 50.00 a day for resort fees is outrageous. No better than the room is. Parking 57.00 a day is ridiculous when you pay that much money for a resort. Would not go back !!

The Diamond Head Tower is outdated. You will be disappointed. We had to upgrade at a cost to find an acceptable room.

There is an insane wait at the front desk. Our room key stopped working and they said to go wait at our room for security. It took security over 30 min to arrive. For the price of their room I would expect better service.
