    If you do not like dealing with people, find another profession. It is impossible to speak with an actual person, if you call the number, you are directed to enter an extension, however, if you don’t know or have an extension, your call is dropped. That to me, is absolutely ridiculous. You guys really need to do better, many people would rather not have to go through this and have the means to not be on public assistance so it makes it that much more uncomfortable when you can’t even get proper customer service. If you cant at least answer the phone, why is there even this new office?...Just go virtual. Then maybe some of you would see what it feels like to be on the other end of the spectrum, by no longer having work or the means to provide for your family.

    HORRIBLE!!!! Cant talk to a live person ever! Been waiting on my EBT card since 12/6!. Never received . Called and reported not received so issued another one 12/27 but still haven't received it either. i get mail everyday! Its ridiculous. I can have heat or I can eat. Guess I wont be eating anytime soon. Waste of time and patience. I called for 6 days in a row and been on hold each time for more than 45 mins only to be hung up on.

    Went in to drop paperwork off for my daughter n law and the lady at window 5 refused paperwork said put it in the mailbox outside. I explained we had done this 4 times and still receive letters that they werent turned in. This is an aweful atmosphere and they act like they are there for you but they are all lazy and extremely rude.

    They need to get new case workers. Every person that has to deal with John has some things to say about him. John does not want to be bothered and he was no help. He asked for a something from ebt and i asked what it is and he said “I don’t know” if you don’t know why ask for it🤦🏽‍♀️I’ve tried calling his supervisor but she hasn’t answered her phone. Luckily the lady who answered the phone from dhr was a lot of help and told me what i needed. She didn’t understand why he would tell to me to get something that he didn’t know what it was.

    Staff available at windows were disgustingly rude and disrespectful and this is with answering simple questions about services. I had to ask the security guards for help and they were a lot more helpful and kind and did not have to be! I suggest calling and getting an over the phone consultation or interview for any services needed as these people have no sense of any sort and have no business working in this line of customer service let alone ANY!

    This is one of the worst organizations ever. They are rude and don't show up to their appointments on time or always have to reschedule! Then they are usually always at person house who takes care of their children to the fullest instead of worrying about the children that actually do need help in this city!

    I don't even know where to start on this place but I swear the comments I'm reading on here are 100% true. Starting tomorrow I'm going to try to contact a supervisor. The security guards there actually had some people they know come in and harassed me. I politely ignored because I have some in store for what they called they selfs doing. They really need to be fired

    This is ridiculous Everytime I call I never can get ahold of someone I always get it saying please enter your extension I'm so sick of hearing that I need to talk to someone I dont have time to take off work to come down there every time I need to talk to someone I'm beginning to wonder if the phone ever work.

    I happened to have a horrible encounter with one if the employees there. She blatantly lied to my face and later found proof she lied as well as threatened me over some things that were incorrect. I have always been very well respected and wouldn't harm a fly. I am almost 40 years old and never have I ever felt that berated from another adult in my life. I am a mother, nurse and stay very active in the community. I just can't believe that someone would basically "use" their "power" to belittle someone and treat them just plain ugly. I have never had a problem with DHR in my life. I don't know what to do, I have all of the proof that this young lady was blatantly making false claims and accusations. My family and I are just extremely hurt. I will say, NOT ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE THIS WAY! I've never had a harsh word to or with anyone and just to be talked down to that way was hurtful to say the least. Have a wonderful day and as I stated before , this was just one bad seed.

    Caseworkers are rude and lack empathy. Worker 223 shouldn't be a social worker because she doesn't care about social service. These people act like anything they give you, comes directly from them on a personal level. I've filed a general complaint as well as a discrimination complaint, which were both ignored.

    Security was unhelpful and rude. When asking a legitimate question. I was talked over multiple times and had to listen to him make rude comments as I walked out of the office.

    Ever had CPS called on you for poltergeist? I have. These people are desperate for custody of kids. You know they get paid thousands monthly per child they take, right? Special thanks to Miss Bardwell from Blue Ribbon School, Mountain Gap for that one.

    The telephone service is a joke. It is not a service, it seems like it is meant stop people from calling. By the time you go through all of the recordings to try and get help you are so frustrated that you are ready to give up. Then, when you finally get to a human being they tell you they can't help you and that you should call your local office. They don't give you the direct number but tell you to go to the website and get it. I just spent 20 minutes trying to find the "local "number following those instructions. Guess what? Every number listed puts you through the same process. I did finally find the local number, I called and all I get is voice mail it is now 10:00 AM. LOUSY PHONE SERVICE.

    This is the worse place ever , they only have one window open , one worker , 4 security guards wow SAD hire more people !!! They don’t like to do their job here , horrible service , long wait and just unprofessional!! They need new management everyone needs to be fired !!!!! I need to find a way to report!

    The first time I called I was put on hold and told there was a wait time of 8 minutes and I ended up holding for 35 minutes and then I got hung up on. When I tried to call back it keeps asking for an extension number. So what extension number do I need to get in contact with you guys. It is extremely rude and unprofessional to be unable to get a hold of government help and assistance.

    They don’t answer the phone and I been sent in my information that they needed on January 19th they said my caseworker has until February 16th in order to complete my case witch is ridiculous when people don’t have money right now and need food . 🙄😒😡

    So much lack of communication! so hard to get in contact with phone, numbers don’t work, people are very rude probably they are underpaid. Not my problem but 100% do not recommend.
