Es gibt selbst an Hochsaisontagen wie heute (32 Grad, Mitte September) ein Plätzchen zu ergattern, dank der Onlineticketbuchung. So wird ein Sardinenlager vermieden. Das Gastroangebot reicht für einen kleinen Hunger, die Wraps sind sehr frisch! Leider muss man an gut besuchten Tagen sehr lange anstehen, um etwas zu Essen oder zu Trinken zu bekommen. Heute wurde dafür auch die OBI Machbar für Getränke geöffnet, das war schonmal entlastend. Da es nur ein Schild dafür gab, wussten es allerdings nicht alle und demnach war die Schlange an der Snackbar dennoch lang. Vielleicht kann man in solchen Fällen alle paar Meter entlang der Schlange ein Schild anbringen. Dies wurde hingegen bezüglich des ausverkauften Eis gemacht und humorvoll geschrieben. Vor und hinter der Snackbar gibt's Sitzgelegenheiten für diejenigen, die ihr Essen nicht auf dem Sand verzehren möchten. Für Wassersportler gibt's ein reichhaltiges Ausleihangebot, z.B. SUPs. Der See ist natürlich und erfrischend, der beaufsichtigte Bereich ist deutlich gekennzeichnet. Leider gibt es keine Angaben zur Wassertiefe, sodass sich manche Menschen nicht so weit rein trauen. Vielleicht kann es dazu Angaben geben, ähnlich wie in Freibädern? Die Toiletten und Dusche (Outdoor) könnten sauberer sein, dafür ist die Outdoor Umkleidekabine okay. Das ist der einzige Punkt den ich wirklich zu bemängeln habe, der Rest ist eher Nebensache. Insgesamt ist der Blackfoot Beach ein Mehrwert für Köln, davon sollte es noch mehr geben!

Aufsicht zur Einhaltung der Corona-Regelung gibt es hier und falls es noch einen Besuch geben sollte, werde ich nicht zögern die Polizei einzuschalten. Aber fangen wir von vorne an! Wir (4 Personen) wollten uns heute nochmal einen schönen Tag machen. Meine Frau hat für sich und unserer 17 jährigen Tochter vorher noch einen Yogakurs direkt vor Ort gebucht. Als wir vor am Eingang gewartet haben, kam jemand raus und hat durchgerufen das Kursteilnehmer bereits reinkommen können. Als wir drin waren, hat man uns mitgeteilt das meine Frau und Tochter als Kursteilnehmer durchgehen können, ich jedoch sollte mit meiner Tochter (3 Jahre alt) und 4 großen Taschen noch 20 Minuten draußen warten bis der reguläre eintritt beginnt. Absolutes No-Go! Das sich im Laufe des Tages der Strand füllen würde, war abzusehen und eigentlich hatten wir trotzdem gehofft dass unsere Mitmenschen auch mitdenken und wie wir auf den Abstand Achten würden, aber Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regeln, nur zeigen die Zahlen dass wir zuviele Ausnahmen haben. Als es uns zu voll wurde und die Mitmenschen zu sturr, um nicht zu sagen zu dumm wurden, sind wir gegangen. Netter sauberer Strandbereich. Die eingegrenzten Schwimmbereiche sind natürlich größer als Schwimmbecken, aber man kann nicht allzu weit rausschwimmen. Noch weiter raus darf man aber bspw. als Stand-Up-Paddler. Das komplette Sportangebot möchte ich hier nicht aufzählen. Schaut dazu einfach auf der Webseite des Strandbads nach. Die Getränkepreise sind Mittelmaß, aber an der echten See würde man mehr dafür bezahlen. Die sanitären Anlagen sind ausreichend groß und wie im gewöhnlichen Freibad geruchintensiv. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kundenorientiert. Mir hat der Besuch sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
