This was a random last minute stop for my partner and I for a sample of cologne's live music scene. I was taken back by the price on the door and then again at the bar as this is a small, no-frills club. That being said the bands were really good and the size of the place added to the atmosphere creating a more personal gig. Although overpriced in my opinion, we did have a good night as the entire place became a dance floor!

The Barinton is awesome! Every Thursday there is top-class live music there for free. Go there, enjoy the music and buy lots of drinks so that the store does well ;-)

Quite a small club, basically just consists of a bar, a small stage and a dance floor. Toilets are small and in the basement, a bit dirty but the employees were super nice and in a good mood and the music is great too! It takes about 10 minutes to get to the next train stop.

Great place with a nice flare! The (funk, jazz) music is amazing! The DJ that plays after the live band sounds like a radio, spinning 5 tracks all night. But those live bands are definitely worth it!
