After a 45 min long wait, we politely asked for an explanation and the waiter (who probably didn’t even speak english) didn’t even bother answering, he just turned and left, which was VERY rude. Expensive and low quality food, supermarket level. I asked for a fried sausage and they gave me a cold, hard, plastic-like wurstel. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone ever! 8,50€ for a piece of bread with butter and that thing I described earlier which I definitely think they put on the plate just to give me something after the long wait. A total ripoff for tourists.

The quality of the food was poor to average, my sausage was the worst meal I've ever ordered in a restaurant (and the most overpriced), but my friends' chops weren't bad. Und es stehen überall im Lokal Automaten, unter ihnen ein Witzeerzählerautomat, ein Klavier, das automatisch spielt, und als Prunkstück ein Musikautomat mit Tünnes und Schäl. Die Zwei funktionieren wie eine Musikbox: Für 1€ spielen sie Polkas, Schlager, Jazz, Oldies usw. Man sollte ohnehin abends in den Klimperkasten aber da ist der Laden dann sooooo voll, dass die ohnehin langsamen Bedienungen mit der schieren Menge an Gästen maßlos überfordert sind. Preise sind okay Toiletten sind sauber. Da die Toiletten sich im Keller befinden und dieser nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen ist, ist der Laden nicht barrierefrei.

They sell themselves as a traditional german restaurant but the dishes are scarce and quality worse than what you find at schools (Just check the pictures) and supposedly we order the specialities of the house. Price is crazy expensive for such a low quality. Don't expect fries or Brattkartofeln as side dish, you get bread, 1 slice, of cheap dry bread. The beer never came full to the line showing its cappacity (as it should, if you pay for 0.3 that price it should be 0.3l) not even the foam touched it, and one glass was visibly chipped. It is a pitty they just profit from the location as they do because it could be a great place.

Cocktails reasonably well priced at about €8.50 but for a long alcoholic in Cologne that isn't beer I thought this wasn't bad. Service was mixed...
