The forest is big enough to get lost in without seeing other people. We did an Easter egg hunt for our daughter there and we never saw another person, even on an Easter weekend.

This was a popular party place out in the woods. The first scull of a neathatral was found here. Later more bones were found. The neathatral museum is near by.

Peaceful forest for joggers, runners and cyclists

The Königsforst is a wonderful forest, large and beautiful. The place to go for long walks in nature as well as too see animals. Its 4 stars instead of 5 because of the concrete roads running through the park taking away part of the idea of walking through nature. However, if you need a stable underground for your walks. These paths do provide this kind of support.

It's a wonderful forest to walk in the area but it needs a clean path in the entry level.

Lovely forest east of Cologne, part of the Bergisches Heideterrasse. Whether on foot, by bike or horseback, many small and large paths and lots of forest.

A beautiful woodland with circular walks & occasional benches & shelters

One of the larger forested areas around Cologne. Nice for a walk, however it does feel rather artificial at times.

Beautiful well maintained forest area. We went to ride mountain bikes and found very little proper trails however it's still a nice ride. Great for families or those wanting to crank out some ks.

Great place to ride your bike. We also saw some wild pigs there. Nothing happened but you have to take care anyway

Overall good place. It's your basic city park. I was expecting a little more wild forest and a little less road ways, but other than that good.
