We came here for an evening meal on a not too busy weekday. There is seating inside and outside. The service was very efficient and the waiting staff were attentive, friendly and spoke very good english. Our food was quick to arrive, came with generous portions and was delicious! I highly recommend trying one of the schnitzels. Food is modestly priced, for two of us having a starter, drinks and mains came out to around €40. The toilet facilities were immaculate, very clean and spacious. If you find yourself in cologne looking for some good German food, this is a great place to stop by.

I struggled to choose what to order. I landed on a dish very similar to what I had days before. But I had seen a picture in the reviews of another local guide and wanted to try. I was rewarded with an incredibly rich plate that seemed prepared by a loving grandma. The balance of flavor between the schnitzel and the mushroom cream was perfect. The potato sliced and pan fried were cooked to perfection to the point that I felt I had to document with a picture how many "breadcrumbs" of perfectly roasted potatoes I could find in my plate. Great hospitality , very fine food and nice well priced wines Started with some tapas : Home made calamari were great . Crispy on the outside with great aioli with basil . Nice beet salad with beet still with a nice bite. Wiener schnitzel was absolutely fabulous..

I ordered this duck meat. Superb with a glass of white wine. Nice staff. Much better than the ones near the tourist sites. Recommend without reservations.

We ate outside in this quiet neighborhood restaurant near our hotel. The grilled land skewer dinner was wonderful. The lamb was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. My husband had a stuffed ground beef dish. He said the accompanying salad and tzatziki sauce taste really good with the meat. The servers were so friendly. The bread basket comes what a fabulous creamy sauce that is flavored with basil and garlic. The wine list has a lot if choices.

We didn’t make a reservation, but the owner was able to fit us in. I would recommend a reservation. Had the calamari and zucchini as appetizers. The lamb main dish was excellent.

Delicious food and wide selection. They also accommodated my English, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre for me. I arrived at a quiet time during the week and focus seemed to be more on cleaning up. I was also seated in the worst spot by the door even though it was empty. Nothing terrible, but wasn't the 5-star experience I was hoping.

I had the lamb skewers and my husband enjoyed the grilled octopus. Both meals were superb! The proteins were expertly cooked and the accompanying salads were fresh and tasty . The thyme potatoes complimented the other dishes to a T. The service was impeccable!! I highly recommend this restaurant!
