Nachdem der befürchtete Herzinfarkt ausgeschlossen werden konnte, passierte über´s Wochenende erst einmal außer großzügiger Gabe von Schmerz- und Herzmedikamenten leider quasi fast gar nichts. Es dauerte sage und schreibe 5 (!) Tage bis die symptomauslösenden blutenden Magengeschwüre (Hang zur Geschwürbildung bereits in NA angegeben) entdeckt wurden. :-( Auch die im Konsilliarbericht vermutete Herzmuskelentzündung wurde dem Patient gegenüber nicht erwähnt - ganz zu schweigen von daraus erforderlichen Verhaltensmaßgaben. Wir hatten den Eindruck, "die linke Hand wusste nicht so wirklich, was die rechte tut" (Behandlungsablauf und Kommunikation) und vom Procedere ging es dem Anschein nach mehr um Gewinnmaximierung als um das Patientenwohl. Ohne ihn hätten wir jetzt noch kein Bett. Man sollte die Damen und Herren der Belegung mal einen Tag auf einer Station arbeiten lassen, um solche Schwachstellen aufzudecken. Insgesamt daher nicht zu empfehlen. Nachdem ich den Sachverhalt an den Chefarzt geschrieben hatte wurde ich zu einem Gespräch eingeladen, bei dem wir die Punkte besprochen haben. Die gleiche Putzfrau war auch während der Entfernung des Fremdmaterials in meinem Knie im Jahre 2019 beschäftigt, aber ihre Vorgehensweise hat sich nicht geändert.

Gut organisiertes Krankenhaus, insbesondere Kardiologie und Radiologie arbeiten Hand in Hand. Sehr nette Ärzte und Pflege. Habe mich gut betreut gefühlt. Leider musste ich drei Wochen auf meinen MRT-Befund warten. Trotzdem: Klare Empfehlung!

Meine Erfahrungen in diesem Krankenhaus sind super. Ärzt*innen und Pflege sind extrem nett, fürsorglich und kompetent. Insbesondere während Behandlungen und Eingriffen ist die Kommunikation mit mir als Patientin sehr gut gewesen. Ich würde stets ausführlich über den nächsten Schritt informiert.

Ich bin freiwillig als psychischer Notfall dorthin gegangen und hatte eine riesen Angst, weil viele Ärzte/Personal nicht geschult sind was das angeht. Meine Angst wurde mir aber ganz schnell genommen, da ich mit sehr viel Verständnis, Bestätigung, Wertschätzung und Respekt behandelt wurde. Wir haben nur die Palliativstation des Sankt Vinzenz Hospitals kennengelernt. Ein Aufenthalt dort hat selten einen schönen Hintergrund. Aber vor dem Gesichtspunkt hätte man sich die Betreuung nicht besser wünschen können. Wir haben aufgrund der sehr schnellen Verschlechterung des Zustands sofort einen Platz bekommen (hier gehört natürlich auch ein wenig Glück zu, dass auch ein Bett frei ist) und sind auf ein im Großen und Ganzen wirklich angenehmes Team gestoßen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind hierbei wohl der Assistenzarzt Tarek Badreddin, der nicht nur sehr engagiert ist, sondern auch jederzeit kompetent begleitet und beraten hat. Mit seiner ruhigen und sehr empathischen Art, hat er immer die richtigen Worte gefunden und war dennoch sehr klar in seinen Aussagen und hat nichts schön geredet. Diese Ehrlichkeit braucht man in so einer Situation! Außerdem muss man besonders die beiden Pflegekräfte Josephine und Kim erwähnen, die mit ihrer geduldigen, liebevollen und unglaublich toll auf den Patienten eingehenden Art dafür gesorgt haben, dass mein Vater sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt hat. Die beiden haben sich immer Zeit genommen auch fragen der Angehörigen zu beantworten und sind jederzeit so wunderbar auf die Bedürfnisse meines Vaters eingegangen. Besser hätte man es sich nicht wünschen können! Ein Dank geht außerdem an Anna, Doro und Tabitha, die zwar nicht ganz so häufig eingeteilt waren, aber wenn sie da waren auch immer mit Respekt und Anteilnahme, sowie fachlichem Rat zur Seite standen. So traurig der ganze Anlass ist, können wir gar nicht genug für diese liebevolle und dennoch natürlich auch fachlich stets einwandfreie Begleitung danken. Es sind zwar ambulante Pflegerinnen eingesetzt, die morgens und abends kommen - die Betreuung reicht meinem Vater aber bei Weitem nicht aus. Dort wurde ich direkt sehr nett von der Stationsärztin aufgenommen, doch wurden beim Gespräch schon mindestens fünf Tage Beherbergung angedeutet. Leider kam dann noch ein Zufallsbefund dazu, der erst einmal nicht klar eingegrenzt werden konnte und aus ein paar Tagen wurden knapp drei -bewegte- Wochen. In dieser Zeit hatte ich mit vielen Pflegern, Ärzten, Stationen -auch zwei Mal die Isolationsstation- zu tun und kann nur in alle Richtungen ein herzliches Dankeschön richten. Auch im größten Streß und schwierigen Momenten war immer irgendwie Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch. Gerade in der aktuellen Zeit und der knappen Personaldecke nicht selbstverständlich. Mir geht es aktuell wieder gut und das habe ich dem tollen Team zu verdanken.

Es ist gut, daß das Angebot einer jährlichen stationären Aufnahme für eine Komplexuntersuchung bei Rheuma besteht, doch unter Coronabedingungen und dem wirklich katastrophalem Essen, überlege ich mir das sehr genau. Die Dachterasse ist natürlich wundervoll Abe es fehlen Wind- und Sonnenschutz (in Form einer Pergola vielleicht).

Ich bin hier ambulant operiert worden und möchte den Ärzten und Krankenschwestern vielen Dank sagen, insbesondere Schwester Petty. Sehr empatisch, freundlich und professionell!

Mein Ehemann lag vom 5.7. bis 28.7.23 auf Station 31. Dank den hervorragenden Ärzten konnte links der Zeh und rechts eine Unterschenkelamputation vermieden werden. Großen Dank an dr. Medici Yashvin Samjhu. Er war sehr freundlich, beste Aufklärung, und beruhigende Worte, das mein Mann in guten Händen und ich mir keine Sorgen machen brauche. Ich sage danke,weiter so und alles Gute für ihren weiteren Lebensweg.Bei Problemen kommen wir gerne wieder. Die Schwestern und Pfleger haben besondere Wünsche erfüllt, trotz dem großen Stress.Auch ihnen ein Dankeschön.

Ich war schon häufiger im St. Vinzenz Krankenhaus und jedes Mal begeistert von der Sorgfalt und Pflege. Bis zum letzten Mal. Nach Sturz und Oberschenkelbruch bekam ich am Freitag ein neues Hüftgelenk. Und hier begann das Grauen. Vor dem Operationsraum packte der Pfleger vor meinen Augen Brille und beide Zahnprothesen in die am Bett angebrachte Box und versicherte mir, dass ich die Sachen nach der Operation zurückerhalte. Auf Station angekommen erklärte mir das Personal, dass ich nicht aufstehen darf, sondern liegen müsse – wegen Operation und so. Bis Sonntag, sieben lange Tage und Nächte lang, lag ich also. Stayed 3 nights because of heart problems. The toilet flush was broken from the start and stayed broken. When I arrived at 1 pm I could not get any food till the next day (just 1 apple). Being a new to Germany i was bit concerned about language but all staff including the ambulance , doctors and nurses do take very good care and very efficient in taking all tests and reports and translate all well in english. Luckily we are all done with everything in less than 3 hours. Kudos to all staff and kind assistance. I was talking to another patients about the reviews about this hospital and they are all very happy with support. This hospital is 24/7 so even if you are new in Germany and need to go for some mild illness during odd hours (i mean when your family doctors are not available) you can go anytime without any prior appointment.
