😠 We also had very bad experiences with this school. My son has been mobbed from very spoiled rich kids, not supported by the teacher & the head of the school how it should be. He became sick of not been taking seriously. We payed a deducted school fee, so they wanted to get rid off us to have a place... People often mention school, teachers, kids, students,

We also had very bad experiences with this school. My son has been mobbed from very spoiled rich kids, not supported by the teacher & the head of the school how it should be. He became sick of not been taking seriously. We payed a deducted school fee, so they wanted to get rid off us to have a place free & kicked him out at the end for unreasonable incident. Best thing ever happened to my child at the end, but they forced us to pay for another 6 month!

We have three teenagers at the school. After being forced to relocate to Germany at a critical juncture in our kids' education—with them having only studied in a language other than English (though native English speakers)—we found the administration very willing to work with us so that our kids could fold into the school's program. The teachers are excellent, inspiring the kids to excel in their unique talents and interests. We love the diversity of the school and its focus on developing cross-cultural citizens, as well. Finally, we've been impressed by how the school has adhered to COVID-19 guidelines and been flexible to adjust as those guidelines have changed.

Amazing teachers and students. My son thrived at this school. Diversity is so wonderful and we miss living in Köln. I highly recommend this school.

If your thinking of putting your kids in this school pls just don’t. It’s one of the worst things you can do to your child.

All I can say is, your child will spend their time in a friendly, fun, respectful and professional environment. Teachers are absolutely first rate. Kind, knowledgeable and happy. Students are treated very respectfully and you can see how happy and confident they are at this school. The school serves tasty vegetarian meals. ;)

My daughter is in the 8th form at International Secondary School. We are very happy with this private school in Cologne. Bilingual campus, teachers are very responsive and always open for any kind of questions regarding my child's progress. The school management is doing everything possible to enable the safe and effective learning during corona times.

We are writing with our heartfelt thanks for what has been such a life changing academic year. The teaching staff have enabled our daughters to thrive in a safe, nurturing, supportive & encouraging environment. The curriculum has afforded space for growth while deepening an understanding of the world we live in. Opportunities to expand creative, musical & linguistic skills alongside daily core subjects with relevant topics have allowed our children to shine. Refreshingly positive reports on their development are a testament to the teachers and values of the I.F. ethos. We are very proud of all they've achieved under I.F guidance.

Our kids have been going to the Cologne International School for 4 and 6 years, and we are extremely pleased. Very motivated teachers, very international and diverse group of children and parents. It's been an overall very positive experience for us.

We are here for 13 years. My oldest son started in grade1 and graduated last summer ( IB Diploma). My younger son also started in grade 1and is now preparing for IGCSE ( Grade 10). Both really appreciated to be taught Thai Chi & Kongfu by Shifu Yang, a very charismatic Shaolin from Henan ( China). Absolutely unique! Student exchanges with partner schools in Ghana & Spain brought friendships and plenty of life experience thanks to very committed teachers with a great interest in the development of their students! Overall a great international community!!!!

The School is great for people coming to Germany from abroad. German and English teaching are effective and my kids love the friendly and multicultural environment.

Very welcoming international school, from both staff and parents, helping and advising the newly arrived family to settle. This is our second year here and, even with the lockdown, the students were learning in a very organised and committed way. Close follow up from the teachers in every aspect of the students’ life and to adapt to on-line lessons made the difference. Every day, my children learn not only subjects, but how to be responsible and contribute to the well-being of others. Their relation with peers and staff is respectful and friendly. The level in secondary school is quite demanding, preparing the students for a good performance in the IGCSE and also for the DP. We did a 2 weeks trial before joining the school, and our only regret was not coming earlier.

The CIS is a great school with a great student community and staff. Our kids joined in Grade 10 and 11 and both found friends immediately thanks to the open and communicative spirit of both the other kids and the teachers. Whenever an issue would come up, we were helped quickly and could solve it with respect to the kid's well being. Also, the school is on an academically high standard and prepares the students very well for their next step on to University or College. I can highly recommend sending your child to the CIS!
