A good place that served as our jump off point for our short Germany/Köln visit. It's beside shops and a McDonald's was just next door. The service was excellent and I applaud the team!

The hotel is largely predictable. The staff is extremely friendly. I don't know the geography of Cologne well, but it seemed that the property is not very centrally located. The property had carpets in the lobby that seemed to be a bit damp and hence had a bit of a damp smell. It did leave an impression. The rooms were better although there was a similar dampness there too. This is the one thing that i would like to see changed in the property. The breakfast was great. No challenges there.

Hotel is out of the city center, but located in a quiet area. Own transport is best. It has ample parking space. The room was very clean. Breakfast is what one can expect from a Holiday Inn Express offer, with everything one needs to start the day: fresh fruit, yoghurts, coffee, etc. Love the self service pancake. The reception staff i came in contact with was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

This is a perfect place to stay for a day or 2. It is just on the motor way which helps the residents to park their car (if they do not have emission sticker) since Colonge city falls under low emission zone. Breakfast was amazing. McDonalds & Petrol Pump adjacent to the property is an advantage.

Elegant room with all basic facilities. They have provided an ironing board, TV and tea coffee making facility with a kettle. Had about 4 plug points for charging. Remember to take suitable power adopters if you are not from EU region. We were in a twin room and sadly there was a permanent shelf between beds. So we could not put them together.

Jasmin great. The lady (Anna) who greeted me was really friendly. Everyone else indifferent and non responsive. Reception staff hide in back office even during busy times. Have to shout out each time for service. WiFi slow and kept dropping out. Bed was great otherwise room tiny. Only hand towels in room even though big towels on the laundry trolley. Water pressure on shower poor. 2 shampoos in shower and not shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast service miserable. Coffee weak. Only 1 lift. Waiting 10 mins for lift to arrive. Hair in bathroom. Cigarette burns on sofa. Keycard didn’t work. Had to go back to reception and get another (and wait for lift). Noisy location There are much better and cheaper hotels. Only reason I used was to be loyal to ihg and now wish I’d gone elsewhere.

I’ve stayed here before so I knew what to expect. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Not much in the area unless you want to walk 20-30 minutes for some restaurant options or a train station. A chain hotel that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Very clean and quite comfortable. We had family room for 4 and beds were large but room itself on the small side. Breakfast was really great: fresh, tasty with variety of choice including pancakes which was a win with the kids. Location was ideal if you need access to A3 motorway. For town centre, we took a bus from nearby stop. Only 20mins on the bus but buses come every half an hour. Bolt / uber to town was EUR 16-20. Overall, really nice and good value for money. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great service mind from the employees. Good breakfast was included and clean and fresh rooms. Good prices makes this a place I recommend to everybody.

I had a good stay at the Holiday inn Express and very much appreciated the service from the team. Especially Jasmin and Alexandre very helpful to me when needed as they spoke very good English and very nice to communicate with. It was really amazing experience... Great service from them.. I booked room with my IHG reward points and normally breakfast not included with it, but they provided me complimentary breakfast, free drinks as a platinum member and a bottle of wine as Christmas gift.. Thanks guys that was a great experience..

This hotel is clean and straightforward with all the basics covered. It is right off the highway. It's not directly in the city center but the Dom stop is only about 30 min away by train. There is a basic breakfast in the morning. The employees were so nice and the service stood out. Salam at the front desk was fantastic as was the daily maid. Note: I was shocked to find out the room has air conditioning. This is rare for German hotels.

Rooms are good. But housekeeping is not being offered. You need something, you go all the way down to reception to get it, for example iron/stand or towel replacement etc. No coffee/tea kettle in the room, though it was one of the facilities of the room at the time of booking. Good part: WiFi is free. Parking is temporarily free. Breakfast as well.

The staff here are really excellent! I accidentally reserved a twin room and told the front desk that I needed a double and they were able to accommodate even though the hotel was busy, really nice service! Also there are rental scooters and bikes nearby to ride to the city center which takes around 30 mins and is a scenic ride. There is also free parking here and a McDonald’s next door which is always good if you fancy some nuggets!

Good and convenient place to stay for a night when you are travelling. Standard room is a bit small, so are the double bed, but breakfast is good and the location is close to the highway.

The hotel is very clean and in a good location. It is not close to the city center but the surroundings have all basic stores. Breakfast is a highlight of the hotel. Really good and plenty of good options. We stayed with two small kids and the environment was very fine! Totally recommended!

Excellent quality accommodation for this price. Just stayed one night, but could have stayed more. The service was excellent. Everybody was super kind. Jasmine and Ömer were really kind. Breakfast was unbelievably high quality and everything was so delicious. Definitely come back in the future!

We use this hotel on our way home. To be honest a bit too expensive for what we get. The carpet in the entire hotel a bit too dirty. But for one night was ok

This was an amazing experience, the service was on point and a worker called Omer was so kind and welcoming. The room was very clean and the bathroom was even better! I was very pleased with everything, and especially the breakfast, where they had a variety of options and a pancake machine.

I called the reception and asked for the towels that were missing in my room. They just told me to come downstairs myself and get them. I was lucky I didn't have to clean the room myself too before checking out, hence the one star.

Multilingual and friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable, tasty breakfast. Good localization. No restaurant that is compensated by restaurants in nearby. Good for Koln Messe visitors.

The service was very professional and the cherry on the icing is the very well served breakfast highly recommended and will vis3 again soon.

This Holiday Inn Express checks all the boxes of what a Express Holiday Inn Hotel promises to be. As an IHG member I know what I am supposed to get and this hotel did not disappoint. The staff is doing their very best despite challenging times to staff all shifts unfortunately not all guests realize this. The hospitality industry is a very demanding profession and we should be greatful that there are dedicated people out who try to make our/your hotel stay as enjoyable as possible. Rooms are small. Basic amenities are less. Tooth paste is not available. And no complimentary water. We arrived there on may 1 and all stores were closed. Complimentary water was not available. But there cater provided some water on request.

No laundry services... No Fridge or drinking water bottle in room. For single person, room allocated with 2 small beds... I would have preferred single king size bed. Not really satisfying... Sorry.

The rooms are somewhat comfortable for the price being charged. The room does not have safety box and somewhat the AC dries up the whole moist in room. Staff is super friendly and really nice and always helping. The breakfast is really not satisfying as compared to the one we had at Munich Holiday Inn. The hotel is on the exit of Autobahn so its difficult to find public transport.

Room was a bit small for our needs, but quite clean with all the right comforts. Evening staff at reception were super helpful and guided us through all our plans for the following morning.
